I took my nail polish off last night because I haven't had the money to go get them done and my 2 big toe nails are black. I have one that is falling off. I went back to tinas and they laughed at me. Said I didn't get a fungus from them that they don't recognize me so I couldn't have gotten my nails done there. I've been to other salons and never have I ever had this happen. Tinas was the last place I got my nails done. They didn't wanna take responsibility for what happened to my toe nails. Needless to say I won't be going back. My husband took my girls to get their nails done while I was working.No sooner than they got home the polish was chipping.They ask for a a design and came home with just polka dots all over their fingers.We have been customers of tinas nails for years sadly this will be our last experience.Yes it was only $10 but my girls are disappointed. Went for a pedicure and gel manicure for my birthday. Chair was old and VERY uncomfortable. The gentleman doing my pedicure, it seemed like it could have been his first. After a 45 minute somewhat painful pedicure I had to wait for someone else to do my polish. My gel nails came out good but no one he goes at all above or beyond to be very welcoming or hospitable. I have gone here several times, at least a dozen, and every time, have been satisfied - never over-joyed.  Very limited communication but very nice, at least John is nice.  The last visit was in January, 2017 had been very disappointed with the lack of communication, I ended up putting acrylic nails but I wanted gel dip.  There were at lease 8 customers in our presence when he started fussing at me that I didn't give him enough time.  I had been there for 1.5 hours waiting getting a pedicure, and even passing on the pedicure massage, leg wrap, etc. to expedite my visit.  I needed to get out of there by 5:00 p.m. for a party.  He literally fussed at me in front of everyone.  It was obvious that there was a language barrier and not one employee understood what I wanted and that I had limited time.  Very disappointed.  Then when I went to get my nails soaked off at another location, you could see the very deep red 1/2 moons where he filed my nails too low. I've been to Tina Nails a few times over the last 2 years and have always left pleased with my entire experience. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. I've even shown up right before closing and they gladly stayed after hours to give me a gel manicure (another girl arrived literally 3 minutes before closing and they gave her a mani/pedi). My gel nails and regular polished toes have never chipped or cracked any sooner than they have when I've visited other salons. Tina is so sweet and definitely my favorite. Not only does she do a wonderful job, but she also communicates very well and makes sure she understands exactly what I'm wanting. The only reason why I've given 4 out of 5 stars is because of my last visit on 6/3/2016. I believe the woman that did my pedi is new. Tina was doing my nails while the other woman was doing my pedi. Tina pointed out the tiniest flaw on one toe and had the woman redo it. Communicating with her was slightly difficult compared to communicating with Tina. Other reviewers say they've had to wait for a long time but since I haven't had a similar experience my only recommendation is to call them and ask what days and times are least busy and make an appointment during those hours.Read Less

I never leave negative reviews because I feel like it's usually a waste of time. But I need to rant lol. This past experience I had here will most definitely be the last. I walked in with no appointment and I asked for a pedicure and a full set. My acrylics looked great when I left and they were super nice, so I tipped $10 and went on my way. Within literally TWO days one of the acrylics came completely off my index finger. Then the very next day another one fell off... It's only been a week and the ones that are still remaining look 2 weeks old. I'm beyond pissed off, I don't live near Farragut to go back and have them redo it. I get my nails done about every 2-3 weeks and I have never ever had a nail fall off.. I mean I've broken acrylics before, but they've never actually came off my nail... I seriously wasn't even being hard on them either. Guess that's what I get for not going to my regular salon. It quite honestly disgusts me that I paid $35 for something that lasted 2 days. The pedicure was okay, except for there being some nail polish on the tips of my big toes, but I wasn't too upset about that because I could easily fix it at home. I do not recommend this place. 2 hours for 2 pedicures for a 7 yo girl and a 13 yo boy. $49. Nice people, but if the service is going to take that long, a warning should be given. My son's feet were in the water for an hour and 25 minutes before they started his pedicure. No offer for a reduced price or much of an apology. Read Less
