The only thing was that the wait took a little while to get my nails done, but they had me seated and ready and asked if me and my friends needed a drink while we waited. Even though we were not getting worked on the workers that were working on someone else still carried a conversation on with all of us. They were soo nice and they did an AMAZING job! I was here staying in Dickson from Baltimore for a few days and asked someone where is the best place to go to get your nails done and was told to come here to VIP Nails. It was extremely busy when i came in. I only waited about 10 mins. Though there was a few ppl waiting that were getting irradiated cuz they were waiting so long. They should probably be more honest about how long they will have to wait. But anyways the guy that did my nails did a good job! I think his name s...tarted with a L n i think he may have been the owner. He was super fast but with good work! There's hundreds of nail salons around Baltimore and I've been to too many to count and i would say he is probably the best I've seen or close to it. My 13 year old Daughter went here with some friends in the middle of her manicure the guy working on her told her to go ahead and pay. So she pays the guy for the amount then he continues by saying that's all where's my tip. Her only being 13 and thinking that was included in the price didn't have any extra money. This was all her birthday money she had. He finished her nails but did the worst job he could. She came home with nail polish all over her fingers and cuticles. I know tips are important but she did pay the $25 dollars that it cost. I have been going here for quite awhile now. I will never go back here again! I just waited with our feet in water for 45 minutes plus....I had my granddaughter with me and she was ready to go. I knew they were busy and we weren't next. I asked the guy for a towel so we could dry our feet. I don't know what happened from there but another man from across the room starts telling me to give him a minute. I said ok. He just kept on. He was obnoxious and rude! This is the only place I go to have my nails done. They are amazing and they always make me feel like home. My nails are always done great and they have never cut me. If I could give it 0 stars I would . I cannot believe this salon, I left crying because I couldn't believe how embarrassed I was. I've never been to a Dickson salon and so I saw this one and decided to try it. I go in and it's super dark and crowded (but I don't judge by looks) a lady there asked what I would like I said a full set (white tips). This man came up to me and said okay have a seat over there I will be with you in a minute. Like I said the place was very crowded. I had been waiting for 20 minutes and they closed at 7 . It was already 6:25. Everyone seemed to be rushing a busy . So my boyfriendiend said to call another salon and ask if they were busy . My mom had reomended me to go to memes nails. So I called memes and asked ." Hi I was woundering if you guys were busy and how much would it cost for a full set" she said no mam we aren't busy and it will be $30 I said thankyou hung up the phone. I told my boyfriend they weren't busy and they were going to charge $30. The guy that was sapposed to do my nails looked over at me and said "you go there then" "your a walk in don't expect to be attended to immidiately" I looked at him and said "sir I just saw you were busy and close to closing." I was trying to do them a favor seems they closed in less than an hour . He repeatedly was yelling at me and being rude telling me to leave he was speaking so fast and being so rude the whole way out the door . And I just couldn't believe someone would talk to a customer that way. I cried the whole way to memes nails. But was absolutely astonished by how sweet they were I was offerd a drink and she called me baby and was being so nice she assured me she would be with me in a moment and made sure she did everything just the way I hoped. Very rude employees. The place was packed, so I simply asked how long was the wait? I was responded to with rude answers from the staff. They should just tell the customer how long the wait will be. So I said I would come back and one of the employees yelled out, " Okay bye." I will not every go back in there again. There a plenty of places to get nails done without dealing with rude employees. Crystal does the best pedicure especially if you have ingrown toenails!!! Phong and Lyn are the best with my pink and white manicures. I have been going to them from the very beginning. I have only had a broken nail 3 times. I work in my garden and also do mechanic work without gloves. That should speak volumes!! I also go to the beach and dig into the sand with my toes and hand and never even a chipped nail. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Read Less

They hurt me while doing acrylic gel nails. They made my cuticles bleed with the for and she never said a word about it. My left hand was worse my pinky on my right hand was bloody when i left. I drove almost an hour away every wkend to have my nails done . I agree with the girl below the owner did some things while they were slow  and my fiancee and daughter sat in the pedicure chairs while waiting on me. After i had my pedicure and was 5 minutes from having my nails done was told by the owner they needed to get up because they were running people off because they were thinking they were too busy when nobody came in and walked out. After going there for over a year without an appointment, I went on Tuesday and I asked for the lady that normally does my nails and was told 'just a few minutes'. Then she told me she had one ahead of me. I told her fine, I'll wait. Then after 45 minutes, and older man came over and said "Do you have appointment?" When I said I was waiting on her, he said you have to have an appointment, there are people ahead of you, make an appointment and come back tomorrow! I went to  this salon for many years. I had witnessed the owner/manager be short with clients before but never me. I always called first because I lived 30 miles away. The last time I was there, I waited almost an hour and my feet were still in the water. I politely just asked if they were running behind and should I come back later. The owner got really hateful with me and told me if I left, I'd go to the bottom of list. He told me my appt didn't matter because they were so busy that day. They ruined my nails. Stay away from people who do not care about the health of your nails. The only English speaking white girl is rude and hateful. I went and got a gel mani/pedi. I was treating myself after a very hard week. Pedi was great. Wonderful massage. My gel mani.. Not so much. Gel was thin and peeled back a few hours after I got home. Went back the next day and found the staff to be gracious and professional. Fixed the peeling nails and thickened up the others free of charge. Tech was a class act and almost didn't take the tip. I recommend this place, but make sure you really look over gel before you leave. Any gel on cuticles or thin gel will lift. Read Less
