My nails we're done in a rush. I am very unhappy. The paint isn't even all on my nails. Their are a couple nails the were filed sideways n I have never had this problem n I want them fixed properly n not at my expense. I spent 40$ just to get the filled in and that what it cost to get gel nails to begin with so I think it's a bit pricey as well. I will be in to show this. N my nails are horrible. It was near closing time when I came in but as a professional nail salon THAT'S NO EXCUSE TO RUSH TO GET MY NAILS DONE SO YOU CAN GO HOME ESPECIALLY WHEN IM A PAYING CUSTOMER. Read Less

This place is pretty clean and everybody is very nice. I really enjoyed coming here. I've gone to a lot of the different nail places around Dickson and for some reason I find that my manicures always last longer when I get them done here. Not sure if it's the quality of nail polish they use or a particular technique, but I'm always happy with the longevity and the results! Read Less

August 23, 2017, was my first visit to Tammy's Nails. Took my two adult daughters for pedicures, I had pedi & nails. The shop was busy but quick to serve customers. All staff friendly and we're doing good job serving customers in timely way. Prices are good. I will visit again. Read Less

August 23 was my first visit. It was "ladies"day out. Shop was quick, all staff pleasant. They greeted you as you entered. My daughters had pedicures I had pedicures & nails. All were  done well, they were careful doing nails and massaging legs. Hot towels were wrapped around legs after massage. They have a variety of services and prices to fit your wants or needs. I have been there many times with my granddaughters and drove from Clarksville.  There have been other times I was unable to join the girls but wanted to pay for their mani/pedis and was always able to call and give my credit card info for payment.  Yesterday was a whole different story!  The communication was extremely rude and they would not take # info to pay.  Obviously are not interested in recurring business.  No worries.  She went to the Nail Bar and although I have never stepped foot into that business, they gladly accepted my credit card info and processed the payment and her nails looked great! This used to be my go to salon.. not so much anymore! The employees are not very friendly and.. I got a manicure and gel polish.. it was a complete and total waist of my time and money!! I paid $40 for a manicure and the gel polish but what I got was hardly a manicure and the gel polish that is supposed to last up to three weeks was chipping off in a week.. Last week I went to Nails By Tammy in Dickson. I gave them my certificate, and after my pedicure I paid for the remainder of my bill (to a young boy around the age of ten). As I was about to get into my car, the young boy comes running out to get me saying I never gave them my certificate. I told him I gave it to them before my pedicure. A worker then comes up and points her finger at me, and tells me that she saw me with her own eyes put it in my wallet. I get my wallet out and look and I tell her it is not there. They refused to let me leave without paying. The worker made it look like I was trying to steal. I paid bc I just wanted out of there. Two days later, they call me saying they found my certificate. Didn't apologize. Told me just to come back and they can give me a refund. Now I have to drive all the way back (20 minutes) just to get my money. This place used to be really good you could have one person do your nails to be assured your nails would be done great every time but then they start passing you around and if you complain they tell you to get out and if you don't like it find some place else to go they overcharge you they do a poor job and the rude bunches of friends that I recommended to go there no longer go there because they don't fit in the click they do not like these people they do a poor job and their massages i've never had such a poor massage of my life gone back three times hoping to have a good one never and they charge you for something they say they did and they didn't Read Less

I was visiting from Florida & my Mom is a regular. She gets her nails done by Tammy. Very friendly staff. Large selection of nail colors. I had shellac done by Kevin. He was quick & did a great job. I wanted a color to match my toes & he helped me pick the perfect color. We chatted & the nail tech next to us joined in on our conversation. Everyone was very friendly. The were quite busy. Plenty of places for a group to get pedicures. I definitely would recommend this salon. The offer many different services. Read Less

I've been to Nails by Tammy multiple times but have recently moved out of state and came back to visit and decided to go in for a pedicure. My pedicure was mediocre at best. The staff was decently friendly but the particular gentlemen who did mine was not at all. My "massage" was him scratching his disgustingly long finger nails (covered by gloves) up and down the front of my leg. Not once during the massage did he touch my actual foot. I told him multiple times that I would prefer it be done the other way or not at all and he just kept on with his gangly fingers until I wiggled my foot to get his attention and then he just stopped. The establishment was very clean though, so that's a huge thumbs up! I was with a friend and they did both of our pedis completely different even though we had the same thing so I found that a little odd also. I highly doubt I will return to this establishment. Even though I must admit I did not actually get my nails "done" here I did get a acrylic nail removal. I am not from the area and was hesitant to go anywhere other than my usual go-to in VA (10 hours away). However Cassandra did a very professional job and took her time with my nail removal and despite the busy day I did not once feel a burden even though I was not spending the big bucks getting my nails "done". After my nails were taken care of I decided to get an eyebrow waxing done (it was only $8!!).  The service was quick and I was more than happy with the end result.  Highly recommend if you're in the Dickson area.
