Went in to get my nails done. no one in front of me one person came in after me. she puts me in the chair starts my nails and gets up and goes over and paint someone else's comes back before she starts anything else somebody walked in and needed their eyebrows done she got up and went and did There's so apparently customer service is not one of their strong suits I will never go back. Been here twice. First time I went with my significant other and we got pedicures.  I was pleasantly surprised he wanted to even go. Was a nice experience. They were not busy, and we got helped quite fast. I will say they took a long time on his versus my pedi. He got an extensive leg massage. Which helped kill time for him while i got mine painted.  Staff was super friendly and we kept them laughing. He gifted me a gift card for Christmas, which was perfect since I needed to get my nails redone. I will preface this with the fact that I very rarely, if ever get a manicure. I had gotten no chip done in Illinois in November and it was time to get it off. This time the place was packed. I asked for no chip again. They kinda looked at me like I was crazy and told me to take a seat. We waited a between 30-60 minutes, which was fine as they were so busy. I sat and they put acetone and foil on my nails to remove previous no chip. No lie, my tech to go take her Brother to meet some friends. About 25 minutes later, I'm still sitting there. Not being helped. She comes back only to get her mom, owner to sign some paper and left again. Is this real life?   Owner called me over to remove foil and polish. She did cuticles and cut nails, too much, while I waited for her daughter to return again. Finally she came back and got to working on my nails. She was very personable and talked to me the entire time. I was not thrilled I waited around for her to run errands in the middle of my time. Nails didn't come out as I had envisioned, but I was ready to go. I honestly wasn't even sure it was no chip that was being done. Went to pay and nothing was discounted for my wait or anything. Let me just start by saying that I love this place. For all of you that have no idea about this shops history I'll give you a quick lesson. Lisa, the owner has had this business for years. She used to be a small shop located across the street from Food Lion on 70. L & B nails. Although a small shop she always had a big clientele. When Dickson started expanding she made a decision to relocate. A good business decision I might add. Thus Nail Bar was created. Upon this decisio...n brought many new clients and a new atmosphere. Her business doubled. So with that comes a lot of changes. New nail techs, more services, and of course a longer wait. Every one of the employees knows me by name and greets me every single time. So my advice to you is no matter what life throws at you be loyal. My loyalty to this shop will never change. It's a great place and I'm a lifetime customer for sure. Never my nails looked like that!!! Paid 50$ for this def not worth!!! The "almond form" looks still messed up after telling her to fix it. Which she had a bad attitude about. Even if i dont talk your language i still know when you talk shit n look all crumpy!!! There is no form to the nail itself either. Just flat !!! So disappointed. Read Less

My girl friend and I went to get pedicures and our nails done - we had received gift cards to this new place and decided to give it a try. We arrived inside a little after 6 and signed in... we were barely greeted but we signed in and sat ourselves.... about 20 mins later a man asked us what we wanted done (even though we had written it in the sheet) and proceeded o tell us that because they close at 7:00, they could only offer us "some" service... (when we called, they stated something like they didn't take in anymore business after 7:00) we both just chose to have pedicures. My daughter and I shared a foot bath (I didn't buy her a pedicure as she was only going to share my water and have her toes painted - I cleared this with one of the ladies there before doing). I precut my toenails because I have high nail beds and when I let others cut them, they usually end up way too short and hurt for days afterward... the lady cut and filed them until you could see my mail bed!!! We discussed a design that she said she could do and she began... the design looked awful on my big toe and the other toes had been painted black to "flow" with the design.... the man who was doing my friend's pedicure added that to fix it I would need to come back tomorrow (I live 30 mins away!) and I was frantic to make it work so I suggested that she just paint my big toe black as well... I didn't know what else to do!! The job was rushed and sloppy... I noticed some of the "damage" and her advice to me was to "go home and scrub my feet" seriously!!! AND ITS GEL so it will not remove easily!!! They charged me $45 and $25 for my daughter to have gel painted on her toes!!!!!!!!!! After I left out of there, I examined my toes more closely and noticed just how horrific it was and I marched back in - mind you, the lady that had done my nails was gone but the man opened the door for me... I expressed my concerns and he was nice, telling me to come back tomorrow, saying that the lady lives far away - blah, blah, blah... HELLO, I live far away too!! Been here a few times, to get Moma filed and filed. Went myself yestersay, wrotw down Peity, but was ignored and got Amsnda. Told her I had ingrown & she did one on the wrong side. It wasnt an ingrown wrong side. Clear polish this time and wanted my nails trimmed really short and clear polish. She said she was gonna "buff" them and shine would last longer. Shine is gone & I was charged same peice. Not cool with me! Want Peity to do my mani/pedi for my wedding, but was told no gaurentees....even if I make the appt...seriously??? Read Less

I took my girls to get their toes done and mine. They did a awesome job. My 2 yo tried to hold still but messed up her toes and the man that did her toes was very patient with her. The last that did my oldest girls toes did a great job on her toes. Mine look great. I've been waiting a month to get them done. Thank you guys for doing a great job and being patient with my girls. I've been three times now the first time there was a man who did an excellent job on my almost shaped acrylics, the second time I had a lady and she immediately started giving me squares without asking what shape I wanted, after I informed her she corrected it and did them but very poorly shaped in fact the workers at the nail salon I frequent even noticed immediately and fixed it when I went for fill in. So I thought I'd give them one more try I asked for square this time to... make it easier, she left some way too wide, used excess acrylic and applied sloppily in efforts I guess to get me in and out quicker instead of taking her time and applying it slowly and carefully to create a pretty shape. That led to more drilling and she didn't even realize she got some on my finger till it was cured and dried and then hAd to peel it off. They're also U shaped at the end. That was the last time I will go there. I gave them the 2 stars they did get simply because of my first visit and the staff friendliness..
