This place looks fabulous, and the first year I went there the staff was very attentive, I was so impressed with their efficiency and professionalism that I never minded waiting. Then gradually, Chris started making comments to me and other customers that they were so busy, and he just didn't understand why everyone always seemed to come at once.
After hearing this a few times I mentioned to him that saying things like that out loud was going to drive away customers, his response? "No worry, they come back, they always do". Very smug and definitely an eye opener to me.
I have a friend that joined me a few times and liked the services so much she made it her regular spot. One Sunday we met there and immediately after walking in Chris said "We busy, why do you come when it is so busy? I told him we were fine waiting and that it was OK, he asked me "Just come back on Tuesday! why cant you come back during the week?" then went on a rant about why does everyone come in at the same time and expect services. I explained, where all could hear, that I worked during the week and couldn't make it back to his location before they closed, so weekends were my only option if I was to keep coming to this nail bar. He asked us to come back another day so many times my friend and I left and got our services somewhere else. I vowed then to never give him another penny of my hard earned money. My friend felt like their services were worthy of some rudeness and kept going back, until he unleashed on her this past month, same rant.
It has been almost a year since I went there and I wasn't going to bother with a review, but people should know how the employees feel about the customers and watch for signs of frustration so when they are taken out on you (burnt cuticles, short pedis, rudeness, etc)., you can call them out on it and spend your money where you are appreciated.
