I had a manicure Thursday before my trip to Florida Saturday they were chipping and peeling off. My whole experience didn’t start well, I called and asked do you do the gel powder that you dip? Yes we do , can I make a appt today which was happy I could get appt that quickly. I arrive and once the nail girl racheal came and got me I asked where are your powder colors ? The girl says I don’t do those I do gel polish, now that I’m in a time crunch I agreed to let her do the polish. First she had no clue how to remove my previous gel powder nails and mostly filed it away. Then she barely touched them in filing and shaping. She painted my nails and since I didn’t have my glasses with me they looked fairly good . I pay and paid more than I’ve ever had to pay at any other salon. Go outside and home get my glasses out and they were all wavy looking. I didn’t have time before my trip to go back and now I wished I had I am 2 days into my trip and they are chipping and peeling. I will give them five stars... they were all awesome, I had a a massage, sauna time. Quiet time, them pedicure then my nails for a fill in then a few more minutes of quiet time then in the salon I went for a wonderful shampoo and style! I was escorted to every place after a service and offered a drink! My only bad service was when I was leaving, I went to ask about some complimentary shampoo and items in sample size basket, she knew all of the items but she did not offer any of them to me or try to help me when I ask what they where for (or match to the service I had done) Read Less

Wonderful day spa....the staff is very nice and professional. The salon is always pretty and comforting, no one does aromatherapy better than Aveda. Amber is my stylist and she is wonderful, I came in as a new client without anyone referring me. She listened to what I was looking for and the cut was perfect. I have gone for a trim and we talk through what is working or not working, she has ideas of what would work best for my hair and again I left very pleased with everything. If your hair has been ruined by someone, come to Bliss. If you're thinking, "I'd like to have my hair done but I don't want to have it ruined the first time then fixed after I've cried," go to Bliss. If you want an personal, professional, pleasant hair experience, go to Bliss...and ask for Mallory Shealy. You can't "get it done cheaper somewhere else." You can get an inferior service cheaper elsewhere, but what Mallory did for my wife's hair was worth far more than what it cost. Great people, great service, great price. Read Less

Kylie at Bliss Day Spa is a miracle worker! I had my hair "Balayaged" at Hair Graphix and after 6 1/2 hours in the chair, my hair looked absolutely horrible and I was still charged. 2 weeks later I went to Bliss hoping that it could be fixed even a little better and was absolutely blown away by Kylie's work! She FAR exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love my hair now. I had 3 different people stop me and ask where I get my hair done after leaving the salon that day. Thank you so much, Kylie. I've been to every place that cuts hair in Cleveland and heard the same thing "that's so simple" and time and time again I'd leave disappointed. After stopping in bliss one day, I've never went anywhere else. Mallory hands down is the best and the only person I ever let touch my hair. The owner and staff are just as incredible. I went to Bliss for a cut and color service and it was amazing! The atmosphere is very relaxing and all of the employees were friendly and offered me water, tea, and coffee. I was very happy with the way my hair turned out and I'm usually picky. I also love the Aveda products they smell so good and keep my hair healthy and shiny! I wanted to wait and give my review when I was no longer angry (as to not sound like a thundering fool), but I am still angry all the same. While the decor is definitely nice, and the people are pretty friendly, I found that it couldn't make up for the lack of professionalism and integrity shown by one of the stylists in particular. I came in feeling really vulnerable, knowing full well that my distressed hair needed some serious help. I was nervous, and it showed. I wish now that it hadn't because this woman took full advantage of that. Along with pressuring me into more expensive services, she insisted that Aveda's ingredients were superior to other hair care. In particular she boasted of how alcohol free they were. I was skeptical, but she swore up and down that besides one particular type of alcohol in the hair spray, they were alcohol free. She then went into great detail about how my hair would be damaged by alcohol, all the whIle selling me on their product. I went ahead and bought something, only to find out later (under better light- I have awful vision) that there was not only alcohol in it, but there were several different kinds in it. Well of course I tried to return it, and of course I had no idea that Aveda had a No Return Whatsoever Policy. So I was pretty livid. I was either deceived into buying a product that I didn't need, or she was so misinformed that she didn't even realize how wrong she was. I left feeling pretty taken advantage of. ..and with a product that's probably subpar compared to something generic.
