The work that they do is medicore and no where near worth what they charge. Be mindful when coming here that almost everything is an additional charge. I moved here from Washington just this month and saw that this place was down the street from where I lived. Convienent enough I decided to get my gel manicure here which I have gotten a hundred times before. As I sat down the technician begins to ask me if I wanted a gel manicure with or with out the "manicure" portion. Confused as I was I asked him what he meant by that, apparently if I were to have chosen just the the shellac/gel change color that would not have came with the "manicure" portion which was removal of the cuticle, the "soaked in water fingers", the lotion "massage" so on and so forth, things of which I thought was standard when it came to paying for a "manicure" and also he began to tell me it was an additional charge for the "manicure" portion all and all I told him I did want him to remove my cuticles and do what I thought was "standard" then Mr. Technician guy tells me that my manicure was going to be $40 surprised as most of you should be I asked why it was so much as I was used to paying around $25 max for a shellac manicure. Mr. Technicians response was that the lotion he pays for was more expensive. The freaking lotion! He then asked if I still wanted the manicure and I said yes because surely there had to be more to this manicure that I wasn't understanding, I was surely wrong about that, the whole experience was mediocre, nothing special, the nail polish wasn't made out of gold, nothing! Oh and the "massage" portion of the manicure was simply just rubbing lotion on my hands and arms. Please give your hard earned money somewhere else, because I felt robbed after this experience. Venus nails either drop your prices or step your game up. There is a reason why your reviews sit at 2.9 stars!

HORRIBLE. I got a fill for my nails 3 days ago. First off the lady did a horrible job so I told the manager. As the manager is showing her everything she did wrong and everything he had to fix she was laughing about it..while the manager is fixing my nails she puts her coat on and leaves for the day. I attached photos to show you how my nails look 3 days later. Horrible never going back there again.

I came in for a dip powder manicure. First of all, there was no manicure included, despite being told on the phone that there would be. And then the technician put the topcoat on so thick and clumpy. He had to file it all off, nicking my finger in the process with his electrical file. Manicures shouldn’t include bleeding! Then he put the topcoat on again so thick that it wouldn’t dry. His fixed so that was to apply gel polish instead and use the UV light. By the time I got home the gelcoat was peeling off. I managed to clean it off with some acetone and through on my own clearcoat and if I can make these nails last at least five days it still won’t be worth the money I paid. Also I was told in advance that if I wasn’t getting tips put on it would only be $40. They swiped my card without even asking and when I got the receipt they had charged me $45. I will not be going back.

I went twice to ensure this place really did poor work. My first visit I got a full gel set and pedicure. I asked for an American and the guy ended up putting silver tips on me. I didn't realize they were silver in the lighting. So I went back to have him fix it. At least he didn't charge me for that. However my new set barely held up for two weeks. When I went back for a fill - to a different tech she was astonished at the poor work. And I had to burst her bubble and tell her one of her counterparts did the work. Here we are a week later and my fill- which was basically a ton of nails being replaced is falling apart. My toenail polish for pedicure didn't even make it that day. They must put something in the nail polish because it didn't dry. Needless to say I won't spend another $70 here.

Some of the staff seem very concerned with the customers satisfaction and that their quality work is perfect. Wile the rest seem to not give a damn and even when you try to explain what's wrong they just smile and shake their head up and down cause they don't understand the English language.
Their massages are a dream. I highly recommend this place.

I had high hopes for this place after ready the reviews. I was disappointed. The pedicure "menu" was hard to understand. I just wanted a basic pedicure with gel polish but ended up with a $45 pedicure plus $25 on top of that for the gel polish. I feel like I normally pay $10 more for gel at most places $25 is high for my liking. A lot of the reviews said that this salon opens your own tools and uses those new tools on you. I have been to salons that have done this and Venus Nails definitely does not. The only reason I gave this 3 stars was because the pedicure (while pricey) was amazing. They also use the "grater" on callouses. A lot of places don't do that anymore and boy did I need it. My only complaint on that was that some of the gel was painted onto my skin so it was already peeling off a couple of hours later.I also got a full on my acrylic nails. Overall t looks okay but they made the acrylics narrower than my actual nail so you can see my nail around it. (See pictures) it's not a drastic difference but I notice it. I also kept telling the man (Tommy) that I could see through my polish and I would like another coat but he would only fix my thumb, not the rest. It was $40 for the fill, trim down, and gel polish. I gave this place a chance because it was closer to my house but I will be going back to Paradise Nails from now on.

I normally don't leave reviews especially to a place I've gone to many times(because I actually loved it) however this place has gone so downhill after the new management has taken over. I tried giving a chance however the owner or lady at the front is beyond hard on your nails, she cut me twice never apologized or anything and the shellac she put on was the absolute worse job I have ever seen. My 6 year old could have done a better job. Then she told me for a full set with one color shellac and a small glitter detail on all my nails it would be $55(that's a lot I've never paid more then 45 for something so simple, and it was simple not a difficult design or a design at all) when I decided to just go with the solid color I was expecting the $45 she originally told me for one color but she still charged me $50. very disappointed and will not be returning. Waste of time and money having to go to someone else to fix them not only that but the huge cut on my one finger from her digging in with her nails.

Nails started off pretty good until she kept holding open my new bottle of nail polish and tuned into the next table. Nails half polished and had to tell the guy that it is not suppose to be like that. He gave me all kind of excuses before putting on another coat of gel!!!
This doesn't even cover the issue with my daughter getting her coffin nails!!! A mess!!!
I may visit the one by the mall the next time, but never here again!!!

Looks very nice and I was very excited about my service. The pedicure was nice, but very pricey compared to other places I've been to around Clarksville. They lost my business at the manicure. My nails grow great on their own and I had a gel nail treatment done on my own nails on vacation in Florida. It was growing out so I asked to have the same treatment done. The man said that his spa doesn't do that. So I asked him if he knew who did bc it was the treatment I wanted and I know now that he lied to me saying that no one around Clarksville offers that service. I even asked him why he thought that was bc it was the best manicure I'd ever had and he said it was too expensive. With them growing out and me believing he would be the expert, I agreed to let him do my manicure with the strengthener they use. So he soaks my nails in something and begins drilling the gel off. What he did not tell me was he would charge me an extra $15 to soak them, or that he was going to destroy my nails drilling them (they just finally grew out 5 months later). The manicure was average at best - nothing impressive and ended up costing me $50 for my own darn nails. I'm more disgusted by his flat out dishonesty than anything else.

I said the amounts on purpose since I really can't understand them. She mumbled some other things and I just smiled. Of course when I was done it was $42 somehow we got confused in the translation... whatever. So I just decided that extra $9 would be a good tip. I put on the credit receipt $42 with no tip. She actually called me out on not tipping.... Really?? Will not go back.

I had a HORRIBLE set of acrylics from a different nail salon. I spent a week with those ego damaging, soul sucking cat claws before I couldn't take it any longer. I prudently searched for good reviews and called a few nail salons to see who could fix my damaged self worth by giving me something more in line with my original goal of "stronger, yet natural looking nails".Julie. Julie is amazing. Julie LISTENED to what I wanted. She looked at pictures of what I liked on Pinterest. She slowly, methodically, and painlessly removed the God forsaken acrylics. Julie then gave me a gel manicure over my brittle, acrylic damaged natural nails. They look and feel amazing. I am so happy. I left the salon on a cloud carried by unicorns and laughing leprechauns. I will continue to go back to Venus, and hopefully get to have Julie the nail goddess give my nails the glorious treatment they deserve.

I was also sad because she wouldnt let me turn on the massage part of the chair, idm if it cost extra or what? But I deff wanted it lol. However the friend I went with got her massage, scrubbed, and lasted about 20 mins longer than mine, and was actually taken care of, her toes looked great and the lady who did hers ended up talking to both of us since mine didnt speak english and left me sitting in the chair for 20 mins while I waited for my friend. Needless to say IF by some magical chance I ever go back I will demand the lady who did my friends toes lol.

My mom and I have been going to Andrew for our nails since I was 4 or 5, I'm 22 now. I would not go anywhere else. We have followed him to the new location off tiny town. We literally drive over 35mins just to go to this location, we plan an entire today just so we can go to Venus! The other location is great as well! My mom is a licensed nail tech but chooses to just have her nails done, Venus is the only place she trusts. We both have gel nails, get regular pedicures, and also get our eyebrows waxed here. My job is very hands on and I am very rough on my nails, but they also look amazing. Idk how anyone can have anything terrible to say about Venus and we won't be going anywhere else, EVER.

I went there for a solar nail refill. What I ended up with was acrylic with clear gel polish on top. Then had the Audacity to try and charge me 30 dollars. The environment is nice but the service was awful and it seemed like she didn't know what she was doing.

I went twice to ensure this place really did poor work. My first visit I got a full gel set and pedicure. I asked for an American and the guy ended up putting silver tips on me. I didn't realize they were silver in the lighting. So I went back to have him fix it. At least he didn't charge me for that. However my new set barely held up for two weeks. When I went back for a fill - to a different tech she was astonished at the poor work. And I had to burst her bubble and tell her one of her counterparts did the work. Here we are a week later and my fill- which was basically a ton of nails being replaced is falling apart. My toenail polish for pedicure didn't even make it that day. They must put something in the nail polish because it didn't dry. Needless to say I won't spend another $70 here.

Some of the staff seem very concerned with the customers satisfaction and that their quality work is perfect. Wile the rest seem to not give a damn and even when you try to explain what's wrong they just smile and shake their head up and down cause they don't understand the English language.
Their massages are a dream. I highly recommend this place.

I had high hopes for this place after ready the reviews. I was disappointed. The pedicure "menu" was hard to understand. I just wanted a basic pedicure with gel polish but ended up with a $45 pedicure plus $25 on top of that for the gel polish. I feel like I normally pay $10 more for gel at most places $25 is high for my liking. A lot of the reviews said that this salon opens your own tools and uses those new tools on you. I have been to salons that have done this and Venus Nails definitely does not. The only reason I gave this 3 stars was because the pedicure (while pricey) was amazing. They also use the "grater" on callouses. A lot of places don't do that anymore and boy did I need it. My only complaint on that was that some of the gel was painted onto my skin so it was already peeling off a couple of hours later.I also got a full on my acrylic nails. Overall t looks okay but they made the acrylics narrower than my actual nail so you can see my nail around it. (See pictures) it's not a drastic difference but I notice it. I also kept telling the man (Tommy) that I could see through my polish and I would like another coat but he would only fix my thumb, not the rest. It was $40 for the fill, trim down, and gel polish. I gave this place a chance because it was closer to my house but I will be going back to Paradise Nails from now on.

I normally don't leave reviews especially to a place I've gone to many times(because I actually loved it) however this place has gone so downhill after the new management has taken over. I tried giving a chance however the owner or lady at the front is beyond hard on your nails, she cut me twice never apologized or anything and the shellac she put on was the absolute worse job I have ever seen. My 6 year old could have done a better job. Then she told me for a full set with one color shellac and a small glitter detail on all my nails it would be $55(that's a lot I've never paid more then 45 for something so simple, and it was simple not a difficult design or a design at all) when I decided to just go with the solid color I was expecting the $45 she originally told me for one color but she still charged me $50. very disappointed and will not be returning. Waste of time and money having to go to someone else to fix them not only that but the huge cut on my one finger from her digging in with her nails.

Nails started off pretty good until she kept holding open my new bottle of nail polish and tuned into the next table. Nails half polished and had to tell the guy that it is not suppose to be like that. He gave me all kind of excuses before putting on another coat of gel!!!
This doesn't even cover the issue with my daughter getting her coffin nails!!! A mess!!!
I may visit the one by the mall the next time, but never here again!!!

Just got a pedi here with my hubby. Very clean and nice staff. I like that they open your own tools new for each service. Ashley and Happy did our nails and they both get 5 stars.

Looks very nice and I was very excited about my service. The pedicure was nice, but very pricey compared to other places I've been to around Clarksville. They lost my business at the manicure. My nails grow great on their own and I had a gel nail treatment done on my own nails on vacation in Florida. It was growing out so I asked to have the same treatment done. The man said that his spa doesn't do that. So I asked him if he knew who did bc it was the treatment I wanted and I know now that he lied to me saying that no one around Clarksville offers that service. I even asked him why he thought that was bc it was the best manicure I'd ever had and he said it was too expensive. With them growing out and me believing he would be the expert, I agreed to let him do my manicure with the strengthener they use. So he soaks my nails in something and begins drilling the gel off. What he did not tell me was he would charge me an extra $15 to soak them, or that he was going to destroy my nails drilling them (they just finally grew out 5 months later). The manicure was average at best - nothing impressive and ended up costing me $50 for my own darn nails. I'm more disgusted by his flat out dishonesty than anything else.

I said the amounts on purpose since I really can't understand them. She mumbled some other things and I just smiled. Of course when I was done it was $42 somehow we got confused in the translation... whatever. So I just decided that extra $9 would be a good tip. I put on the credit receipt $42 with no tip. She actually called me out on not tipping.... Really?? Will not go back.

I had a HORRIBLE set of acrylics from a different nail salon. I spent a week with those ego damaging, soul sucking cat claws before I couldn't take it any longer. I prudently searched for good reviews and called a few nail salons to see who could fix my damaged self worth by giving me something more in line with my original goal of "stronger, yet natural looking nails".Julie. Julie is amazing. Julie LISTENED to what I wanted. She looked at pictures of what I liked on Pinterest. She slowly, methodically, and painlessly removed the God forsaken acrylics. Julie then gave me a gel manicure over my brittle, acrylic damaged natural nails. They look and feel amazing. I am so happy. I left the salon on a cloud carried by unicorns and laughing leprechauns. I will continue to go back to Venus, and hopefully get to have Julie the nail goddess give my nails the glorious treatment they deserve.

Came in with a friend and we both wanted the 25$ pedicure, well mine was done in about 10 mins, no scrub, no massage, and my toes werent even painted that well, im 9 months pregnant and cant exactly reach my feet but my husband could have done a better job. I was also sad because she wouldnt let me turn on the massage part of the chair, idm if it cost extra or what? But I deff wanted it lol. However the friend I went with got her massage, scrubbed, and lasted about 20 mins longer than mine, and was actually taken care of, her toes looked great and the lady who did hers ended up talking to both of us since mine didnt speak english and left me sitting in the chair for 20 mins while I waited for my friend. Needless to say IF by some magical chance I ever go back I will demand the lady who did my friends toes lol.

My mom and I have been going to Andrew for our nails since I was 4 or 5, I'm 22 now. I would not go anywhere else. We have followed him to the new location off tiny town. We literally drive over 35mins just to go to this location, we plan an entire today just so we can go to Venus! The other location is great as well! My mom is a licensed nail tech but chooses to just have her nails done, Venus is the only place she trusts. We both have gel nails, get regular pedicures, and also get our eyebrows waxed here. My job is very hands on and I am very rough on my nails, but they also look amazing. Idk how anyone can have anything terrible to say about Venus and we won't be going anywhere else, EVER.
