I cannot say enough about the staff, atmosphere and overall experience. This is by far my favorite spa! Everything from the greeting of the front staff to the relaxation room all the way through the services=quality. I have had a number of massages and facials. While I have had different therapists done these, each were attentive and skilled. I left feeling rejuvenated. The atmosphere is very calming. This was one of the best experiences at at spa that my wife and I have ever had. We live in Smyrna Ga and came to Chattanooga to get away. First off, the ladies at the front desk were so nice and made us feel so special. We had reservations for couples massage. I may have the names of the therapists wrong but I think it was Amanda and Stephen. They were very professional and extremely thorough. Everything about the whole experience just screams classy. I went here yesterday for a 3 service spa package. They done an AMAZING job of making me feel comfortable, welcomed, and really relaxed. The massage therapist, Karla, (Not sure if the spelling is correct), done a Fabulous job. I felt like it was the right amount of pressure and not too much oil either. Woodhouse Spa delivers the whole package. It is a true spa not just a salon that tacks the word spa on. From the moment you step through the door you are enveloped in the relaxing spa atmosphere. Once you are changed into your robe and slippers you spend some time in the relaxation room, sipping some mint tea or water. Then you are whisked away to your service. I personally had the Organic facial and it was hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. I’ve also had a fantastic manicure and pedicure, where they use the top-of-the-line products and actually know how to correctly put them on and take them off. Go here for a true spa experience. I feel like these days everyone is claiming to be a spa...and they really fall short. Not here. From check-in all the way to check-out it is a true spa experience. Very pretty spa. Very nice locker rooms and waiting area. Like BEAUTIFUL!! The treatment rooms were lovely and very clean. BUT after the overall experience I just didn't feel like it was a good experience. First of all..the treatment room I was in was towards the "back" and you could hear jack hammering the ENTIRE TIME. Which isn't the business's fault but I felt like they could have moved me when they noticed the sound. Getting a massage with a jackhammer in the background is not pleasant. Second the technician was "nice" but didn't necessarily make me feel comfortable. My feet were peeling from a Foot mask and she kept acting like it was really gross. It was super embarrassing to feel like that. I kept apologizing for the untimely arrival of my exfoliation. Third..it just wasn't a good massage. She didn't use any pressure. When I didn't talk I think she thought I was sleeping and kind of half assed the rest of the massage. I just felt the same tension I felt before I went there. Believe me when I say I wanted to like this place. It's super close to my house. It's lovely inside. Very importantly it's clean. But sadly all the bells and whistles didn't make up for bad service. Not only is this place gorgeous, the mud wrap is amazing! Upon arrival i was greeted  and shown to the locker room where I was given my own personal spot , a robe and sandals. I was then  led to the relaxation room where I got a warm neck wrap and some flavored water.  My therapist met me and ushered me into a warm steamy room for my full body mud wrap , scalp massage and rinse. Woodhouse is the bomb! I have had massages all over the world, Italy, Asia, USA and my therapist, MK is the best there is! She cares and concerns herself with your needs and address them throughout the message. I have been seeing her for 2 years and she never fails to help me and my health. Additionally, be sure to get there early.... At least 30 min. To relax and dial down before your service. The co-ed relaxation room is very comfortable and modest... You people who are uncomfortable over sitting in a quite, relaxing area with a robe that covers you like an Amish school teacher really need to look in the mirror and maybe the clothes you wear in a daily basis, rather than a robe that nearly covers you from head to toe... I was a little disappointed in my first visit here. The place is beautiful and it was relaxing. I had a duet massage with my daughter and I told my therapist and even put it on the paperwork where my biggest problem area is, and she ran out of time and didn't even get to it. I did take about 5 minutes to run to the restroom during my massage, but I would think she would be sure to get my problem area and miss something else rather than skipping that. I have a lot of pain ...in my lower back, hips, and the back of my legs and she never even did anything to the backs of my legs. I felt like my daughter's therapist asked more questions and seemed to move a little quicker so she actually got a full body massage. I REALLY didn't like the mixed gender waiting area. I am fairly modest and I don't like sitting around strangers in a robe to begin with, so this was just uncomfortable and made it harder for me to "relax". Vezi mai mult Read Less

Mollie that took me back was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. She didn't make it awkward or uncomfortable. Bonnie was my massage therapist. The massage was excellent, but 20 of the 50 min massage was cut. My appointment was at 11 and no one told me it would take 5-10 mins to sign in, I had to go to the restroom, and change into a robe as well. All the time doing this was taking right off the top of my 50 mins. That was a wee bit annoying. The massage was amazing, I would have loved the full time. Brandi did my facial and pedicure. Extremely disappointed with this place! Booked a couples massage for my husbands 50th birthday. Arrived on time and was told that the appointment had been scheduled wrong and we would need to come back later in the day. We did as we were told but the day didn't get any better when we came back later as they were much busier and my husband was placed in a room with about 8 women that were discussing their divorces and marital problems!! I had a gift card which I used for an Agave Pedicure. Going to the spa for the first time was just what I needed. I felt totally pampered from the moment I arrived. Putting on the soft robe and getting a warm neck wrap and cut of Earl Grey tea in the quiet room immediately began to wash away the stress and business of the week. Then the pedicure was great and warm agave oil massage was luxurious and then back to the quiet room. I left refreshed and pampered and ready to go back into the world. My massage therapist was a really nice guy. So nice that I hated doing what I did - but I walked out. I've actually never done that in a massage before because it's really hard for a massage to be so bad...that you walk out. I went in for foot reflexology but he used absolutely zero pressure and obviously did not know what he was doing. We enjoyed some tea as we relaxed near the fireplace. The staff is very attentive and helpful. We made our next appointment when we checked out and can't wait to go back. I'm an experienced spa-goer, and this is truly one of those spas where you just get to escape from reality. I got an illuminating facial and it was heavenly. Definitely cleared up my dark spots. I'm going back during spa week to get a massage and I can't wait! They give you a soft robe, hot tea, and warmed neck wrap while you unwind before your service in the relaxation room. I went to the new Woodhouse spa recently for a facial.  The place itself is very pretty, lovely decor in the quiet room...you do not feel like you are at a shopping center.  Unfortunately the facial was not very good.  It was supposed to include a hand, shoulder and neck, and foot massage, but the pressure of these was so light it was basically just someone rubbing lotion on you.  Very disappointing. It was also supposed to be 80 minutes, but was no more than 70 at the most.  The facial ended at 20 min after the hour but did not start on time.  As for the facial itself, there was not much too it.  Usually the technician asks if you have any concerns, but she did not. I had one thing I had hoped to have extracted, but she barely used any steam and no light was ever shown on my skin or offer for any extractions.  The whole thing basically felt like someone rubbing lotion on me for an hour.  There was the typical upsell of product and services at the end, but they all do that.  Overall fairly disappointing.
