My return visit was due to the nails breaking the same day. But I noticed that the manager avoids people of color . He avoided greeting us at the door. While getting the nail repaired I notice he ran to greet other people as soon as the door opened. I felt cold and the lack of customer service was even colder

I tried them for the first time today. I made an appointment and they stuck to the appointment. I was in and out in an hour which is great since I had a manicure and pedicure. I loved the use of warm lotion for my massage it was very relaxing.
The location was bright, clean and I loved the little girls section with a princess crown. I will be back and will bring my six-year-old daughter with me.

I was amazed in reading these reviews of this place. My thought was, well if it's as terrible as these people are saying, how have they been open so long in a place with high rent?
First of all, the lady that did my pedicure was polite, did not talk too much, but was very friendly. She did a great job on my pedicure.
Secondly, I was in cosmetology school for two years. And I have gotten pedicures in at least 10 different places in the last 7 years between Spring Hill, Franklin, Brentwood, and Thompsons Station. OSHA REQUIRES that once you drain the water out of the tub, the customer receives a new, dry towel underneath their feet. NO ONE has EVER remembered this step before until today. Mind you, I have been to "high end" nail salon's who technicians flat out ignored this rule. This small thing (the cosmetology regulation), goes a long way with me.
I am baffled by the negative reviews, but I also understand that people generally review when they have bad experiences.
My pedi is beautiful and experience was good. I recommend this place to any local looking for an affordable and quality pedicure.

Very dissatisfied. They hurried through the manicure and pedicure. I was in and out in less than an hour with a mani-pedi. Polish on fingers is uneven. Just moved here so will continue to search.

This was one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had. I do not get my nails done very often, so I initially wasn't very comfortable with the whole process. I got a mani/pedi. I got my pedi done first. The pedi was fine and I enjoyed it. The only downfall, my big toes were not filed down smoothly and the paint job looks as if I did it myself. Fast forward to the mani, the technician cut my cuticles and made them bleed...twice. I was getting the shellac and when it came time to put my hands in the light box, the light kept turning off and on. The technician kept scolding me, telling me to stop moving when I was being extremely still. So we bickered back and forward about me not being still. She was extremely rude and aggressive. She started giving me anxiety so my hands started to get clammy from the heat of the light and her scolding me. When the light box would finally work, she would say things like "good job" and talk to me very condescendingly, as if I were a child. The whole experience was traumatic and on top of it, I payed 69 dollars. Stay far away from this place!

I'm only giving this place a two because I was seen quickly, and because they're in a great location.....OTHERWISE don't go! I go a gel manicure almost 2 weeks ago (the polish is lifting and actually peeling) and my nails look terrible. My usual nail tech was booked and I was headed out of town. I think the guy that did my nails said 1 full sentence to me. He didn't ask how I wanted my nails shaped, he did his own semi oval/semi square nightmare on my nails. I will NEVER go back, ever.

The older lady that did my pedicure (she wasn't wearing a nametag) was very rude, she started the pedicure with luke warm water, the towels she brought out were just barely warm, she didn't cut the cuticles, she picked up the instrument but didn't actually touch my toes, she just pretended like she done something (just went thru the motions) I was never asked what kind of pedicure did i want, most places will also ask you if you want something to drink ( i wasn't asked anything). I have had this lady one other time and she was the same way, i was thinking she was just in a bad mood, but today it was even worse. She was supposed to do my nails after the pedicure, but i told her i changed my mind. I will never go back to Bella Nail Skin Care on Old Hickory in Brentwood.

Lonna did a great job on my toes, which is tough for me to say since I suffer with ingrown toenails. I can't say how the other technicians are since this is my only experience here- but I enjoyed the service a little extra while sipping on my latte from The Well next door (which has never disappointed me).The interior of the salon is really tranquil as well, which is always nice!Update: I came back for another pedicure and Sarah also did an outstanding job taking care of my ingrown toe nails. Nail technicians that are efficient and empathetic are very hard to find!

The kid was barely 18, and didn't attempt to be personable...and even with a language barrier nail folks should at least attempt. He was in a hurry, and when my thumb was messed up, I pointed it out and he said "when I put top coat on it will fix it". I had to ask him to fix it. He filed off half of the polish and was going to try and fix it, I had to tell him to remove all of it and start over. So 2 days later and my pinky and thumb on the opposite hand are peeling off. I have had gel manicures for years, and gone to tons of salons and never wrote a review but if you do go here ask for a senior nail tech. I will never return.Oh and the red wine is chilled

Awful, awful experience. Walked out in middle of manicure. I had long nails before walking into this place, they were cut down to nothing, asked for them the be shaped and filed to rounded square twice and was left with bleeding cuticles, and jagged nails. Got the deluxe pedicure and was going to be painted without a massage or scrub on my feet. Then asked for a simple line design on my toes and was rudely told they soul to do it. The absolute worst experience at a nail salon in my entire life. DO not go, run away. Will never be back. I'll take my money elsewhere.

The owner is very kind and very conscientious to make sure that her customers are happy. Really in the big picture we are very very blessed. I am trying to learn not to complain, about anything and be joyful of the pleasures in life . Being able to get our nails done with peace and quiet... It made an experience where I'm paying $30 kind of disappointing. With so many other nail salons in the area, I won't be returning to this one.

I used to go someplace else in Cool Springs, but the waits are always long and same day appointments are not available. I have now gone to Bella Nails over a dozen times for gel manicures and regular pedicures and the results have been consistently good. I have never waited more than a few minutes and they take same day appointments. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. They finish in a timely manner, but I do wish the massage part was longer.

VERY DISHONEST. I was in there today and left my really nice north face jacket with my car and house keys in the pocket. I called them 5 times and they kept telling me they didn't have it. I knew I left it there. I went there to show them where I was sitting and guess what.... It was sitting right on the front desk. I am beyond mad. I almost had to get a locksmith for both my car and house keys. Even if they found it after I got off the phone they have caller ID. They could have looked up the 5 times I called to let me know it was there. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!

Since this is a newer nail salon I tried to have a little bit more patience. Overall a good experience but they didn't offer a beverage till I was sitting in pedicure chair...and I did gave to wait for about 15 min. Atmosphere and decor was quite beautiful.

I'm sitting in her chair now and I have been reminded why I loved her so much all these years. Her attention to detail is stellar, she is kind hearted and gentle. Thank you!

Worst Pedicure i have ever had. This place doesn't deserve one star rating. The older lady that did my pedicure (she wasn't wearing a nametag) was very rude, she started the pedicure with luke warm ...
Worst Pedicure i have ever had. This place doesn't deserve one star rating. The older lady that did my pedicure (she wasn't wearing a nametag) was very rude, she started the pedicure with luke warm water, the towels she brought out were just barely warm, she didn't cut the cuticles, she picked up the instrument but didn't actually touch my toes, she just pretended like she done something (just went thru the motions) I was never asked what kind of pedicure did i want, most places will also ask you if you want something to drink ( i wasn't asked anything). I have had this lady one other time and she was the same way, i was thinking she was just in a bad mood, but today it was even worse. She was supposed to do my nails after the pedicure, but i told her i changed my mind. I will never go back to Bella Nail Skin Care on Old Hickory in Brentwood.

Lonna did a great job on my toes, which is tough for me to say since I suffer with ingrown toenails. I can't say how the other technicians are since this is my only experience here- but I enjoyed the service a little extra while sipping on my latte from The Well next door (which has never disappointed me).The interior of the salon is really tranquil as well, which is always nice!Update: I came back for another pedicure and Sarah also did an outstanding job taking care of my ingrown toe nails. Nail technicians that are efficient and empathetic are very hard to find!

I only give it 3 stars because I have had most tech do different things to my hands and feet. The only person I like is Kim to do my nails. Everyone is nice there!

I stopped in this place hoping to get a decent gel manicure before my trip. The kid was barely 18, and didn't attempt to be personable...and even with a language barrier nail folks should at least attempt. He was in a hurry, and when my thumb was messed up, I pointed it out and he said "when I put top coat on it will fix it". I had to ask him to fix it. He filed off half of the polish and was going to try and fix it, I had to tell him to remove all of it and start over. So 2 days later and my pinky and thumb on the opposite hand are peeling off. I have had gel manicures for years, and gone to tons of salons and never wrote a review but if you do go here ask for a senior nail tech. I will never return.Oh and the red wine is chilled

Awful, awful experience. Walked out in middle of manicure. I had long nails before walking into this place, they were cut down to nothing, asked for them the be shaped and filed to rounded square twic...
Awful, awful experience. Walked out in middle of manicure. I had long nails before walking into this place, they were cut down to nothing, asked for them the be shaped and filed to rounded square twice and was left with bleeding cuticles, and jagged nails. Got the deluxe pedicure and was going to be painted without a massage or scrub on my feet. Then asked for a simple line design on my toes and was rudely told they soul to do it. The absolute worst experience at a nail salon in my entire life. DO not go, run away. Will never be back. I'll take my money elsewhere.

The owner is very kind and very conscientious to make sure that her customers are happy. Really in the big picture we are very very blessed. I am trying to learn not to complain, about anything and be joyful of the pleasures in life . Being able to get our nails done with peace and quiet... Soak it in, don't let anything anybody take your joy away! so find the good in everything, find joy in everything and be happy! It's up to you. We are so blessed!

Went for a pedi today. To preface, I'm not high maintenance, hard to please, and I don't care if you're not talkative... BUT the lady that did my pedicure was very aggressive and not friendly AT ALL. It made an experience where I'm paying $30 kind of disappointing. With so many other nail salons in the area, I won't be returning to this one.

I used to go someplace else in Cool Springs, but the waits are always long and same day appointments are not available. I have now gone to Bella Nails over a dozen times for gel manicures and regular pedicures and the results have been consistently good. I have never waited more than a few minutes and they take same day appointments. The staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. They finish in a timely manner, but I do wish the massage part was longer.

VERY DISHONEST. I was in there today and left my really nice north face jacket with my car and house keys in the pocket. I called them 5 times and they kept telling me they didn't have it. I knew I left it there. I went there to show them where I was sitting and guess what.... It was sitting right on the front desk. I am beyond mad. I almost had to get a locksmith for both my car and house keys. Even if they found it after I got off the phone they have caller ID. They could have looked up the 5 times I called to let me know it was there. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!!

$70 and the guy put acetone on my gel and tried to say I was finished. Nails are crooked, he was in a hurry and he never put a topcoat on so I had to come and home and do it myself under the UV light....

When you go to Bella see Nikki, she's amazing, tell her Gail sent you!!!! She transferred from the Belle Meade location which was only 10 minutes from me. But she's so good that it's worth the extra...

Since this is a newer nail salon I tried to have a little bit more patience. Overall a good experience but they didn't offer a beverage till I was sitting in pedicure chair...and I did gave to wait for about 15 min. Atmosphere and decor was quite beautiful.
