I decided to get eyelash extensions for my first romantic get away to Mexico with my husband. I really love the look of eyelash extensions. I followed all the directions, be gentle, don't rub them etc. I got them done on a Thursday, Friday a bunch fell off my left eye. I thought okay that's probably normal. My right eye only had about two fall off that I noticed. Saturday over half of my eyelash extensions fell off my left eye. I didn't do anything to make them fall off. The right side was perfectly fine. So I looked horrible, the only thing I could do was get tweezers and pluck off the remaining eyelash extensions. On my left eye, they came off very easy no problems. My right eye was another story, very painful to pluck them off. I also lost some eyelashes doing this. I called when I got back to speak with Donna and I was given a "sorry about that" response. She said if I wanted to try them again to come in...no refund, nothing. I spent 150.00 plus tax and gave her a 20.00 tip. I will not be going in to try it again. It was a costly, horrible experience. I have never left a bad review online before this, but I wanted to warn the next person to go elsewhere, unless you can afford to waste your money. Feel bad saying this but it's the truth I was disappointed walking out of this salon. Because of the good ratings and being voted "#1" in SF I was looking forward on having an amazing experience too but with the hair color results i got will not be returning.. the girl was nice. But went over hair color of what i wanted did not come close to what I had shown already. Will not recommend this place just because of its good ratings. Lexi is amazing! I trust her 100% with giving me the best cut for my hair. She is an expert with color and I always leave loving what she has done. Yes, The Make Up Bar does great brows. But I wanted to give a shout out to Frank. One year ago, we cut more than 10 inches off my locks and I am still getting compliments. In fact, just last week, I got not one, but *two* comments on my "cute hairstyle" -- and that was after a full day in a Disney theme park, including at least 2 roller coasters. I've only had great experiences here.  I see Char for over all highlights and hair cuts.  I've been coming to this salon for 3 years now and am very happy with the service I receive.  The hair washing bowls are comfortable and I don't need a Motrin after my appointment because of a neck ache.  Yes, this has happened to me elsewhere.  A professional salon, well priced and great atmosphere.  They also offer nail services, eyebrow waxing and sell many products. I had a Brazilian wax. I should have asked what kind of wax they use before I made the appointment, but unfortunately I didn't. Strip wax should not be used in such a delicate area! I was sore for days! Not to mention strip wax is heated to a higher temperature which is especially dangerous for delicate skin. On top of all that, I still have a fair amount of hair.
