First time here, they were open on Sunday and very close to home. Received the shea butter pedicure which was wonderful, the technician took her time. The owner was very attentive, offered water and magazines. Also, explained the rewards card and gave a goodie bag of a facial sample. She was able to free hand the most perfect detailed Christmas trees on my accent nail and it made me feel so festive! My nails are actually still perfectly in tact and it has been almost a month! Have been going here religiously for this past year and I think its finally time to make a review. Honestly greeted with a friendly face every time I come in. I've pretty much have had my nails and toes done by almost everyone that works there. I get the same level of professionalism and skill from everyone that I've been with. The actual place is very clean and pleasing to the eye. I also enjoy how diverse their team is. Recently tested my last nail technician by showing her a video to do a Marble Print nail art. She worked with me and took the time to see if we could do it... And yes, she was able to! Honestly can't go anywhere right now without someone complementing on them! Was nice that everyone spoke English and pedicure was ok..did feel like I was given a kinda rushed service and after polish technician drained water and walked away and never said anything. Left me sitting in chair, never helped put shoes back on or a hand to get out of chair. I moved to Summerville 6 months ago and was looking for a great place and hairstylist. Frannie is amazing, best stylist I have ever had. In the past I have had some bad experiences with lightning my hair and adding red highlights. My scalp can be sensitive and not everyone knows how to apply the lightner correctly. Frannie is a pro, She takes extra care, she is kind, so smart and fun and honestly quick too, which is nice considering other stylists have spent triple the time on my head without the great results. I went here for the first time last week and my experience was sub-par. I asked for a full set and a pedicure. When I was asked on what exactly I wanted for my full set I showed the man (didn't get his name) a picture of what I wanted which was oval nails with a light pink/nude paint color. I chose a color and proceeded to get my nails put on. After him shaping my nails I told him I wanted them more round and not square & chunky but he kept telling me he didn't think it would look good. He was extremely rough with my nails and I'm not one to complain so I pushed through it but it was very uncomfortable. I understand he's a professional but I kept telling him I didn't like how square he was making them and he kept ignoring me. I eventually gave up because I didn't want to argue. After applying the color I noticed it was more of a Barbie pink than a nude and I asked if I could have something less bright and he said it was the color I chose. Again, I gave in because I didn't want to argue. The shape of my nails was completely not what I wanted and I was not happy with the color whatsoever. Moving onto my pedi, that was great! She was attentive and very into my pedi. It wasn't rushed at all. Only downfall was when I got home I realized she didn't paint one of my pinky toes haha! Simple mistake but kind of disappointing. I'm going to try it again because I hate only having one impression but I wish it would have been better since I've heard such great reviews. I had a stressful week with exams and wanted to treat myself by getting my nails done. The lady did a horrible job. She didn't clean my nails or cut them. The nail polish isn't even on my nails either. When I complained about my nails being too transparent because the nail polish was cheap, she ignored me. She spent not even 5 min on my nails. I LOVE this salon. I refuse to go anywhere else. I was just in today and my nail tech was Angela and she was such a delight! She and her coworker made friendly conversation that they included me in so it waved away the awkward feeling you normally have when a stranger is touching your hands and filing away at your nails. I instantly felt comfortable as could be and was soon chatting away with her and her coworkers. The girls at this salon have a way of making you laugh. I requested coffin style nails which I felt weary to do because the last time I requested this style at a different salon they were horribly botched. She did an AMAZING job.
