First, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I NEED YOU TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! Secondly, being able to provide a service like Regal Nails Salon and Spa does and be really really good at it is one thing. However, being able to provide an amazing experience is another. It's a rare occurrence when an establishment can provide both. With that, I am EXTREMELY happy to say that I've come across such a rare occurrence with joy nails. I came in on a relatively busy day and by the end, it was clear as to why it was so busy. My pedicure was done by Ms.Nancy and I COULD NOT have been happier. It was truly the best pedicure I have ever gotten. I work in retail so I'm on my feet all day and every day, Ms.Nancy made sure I forgot all about my worries. Not to mention she was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life! Everyone at the salon really makes you feel at home and a part of the family. The little bits of kindness and service I was witnessing all over the salon really defined the integrity of the shop. I just started getting acrylics because my very, very weak nails can't hold up to daily tasks and always end up looking more like my niece's nails than the pseudo adult I'm trying to be. =) Thus, I don't want long, thick, weird fake nails... I want nails that look and function naturally. Surprisingly, this is difficult to achieve at the run-of-the-mill nail places. I walked out disappointed and ran home to fix them myself. Nancy, on the other hand, understood exactly what I was going for and did the perfect set for me. She checked multiple times to make sure I was happy with the length, spent a considerable amount of time thinning and shaping them, and refused to put down the file until they were perfect. They look and feel fantastic and I'm happy to have found a place I can return to with no qualms. Also, the paint job was perfect. The color is holding up really well and is shiny, even and beautiful. I have never gotten my nails done before besides a basic manicure. My nails were so brittle and the top layer would peel off, so my roommate suggested to me to get an acrylic overlay to help harden my nails and let them grow out long. I came here to get them done and for my first time, I was not disappointed! Nancy is my go to nail tech now as she always does a phenomenal job on my nails. I have had them for two months now and have yet to have a chip or have the overlay start to lift off of my nails. She always takes her time and is also great to talk to while you get your nails done. The actual salon is also beautiful! I have never been in a bigger or more beautiful nail salon then this one. I would recommend this place and my nail tech Nancy to anyone. Read Less

This place was great! What a refreshing experience! Just moved to this area away from my usual nail tech and am so relieved to have finally found a place I love! I have tried way too many salons with dirty tools, sloppy work and uncomfortable ambience. This place is clean, beautiful, brand new tools for each client, a plethora of gel or regular colors and super friendly staff! Nancy was wonderful and very sweet, she took extra time to really make sure any ingrown nails or painful spots were taken care of, and the chairs were so comfy and relaxing. I also love the way she did the gel on my toes - she paid attention to detail. She did an amazing job! Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know in the area. Kayla is the BEST!!! I go to her for gel tips every 3 weeks and I'm so incredibly happy with the result EVERY TIME! Ive been coming here for the past 2-3 years or so and I always have a great experience. Take it from someone who is in the beauty industry. This is the best nail salon in Summerville and I will never go any where else. You won't be disappointed. They are super consistent and are all super friendly. You will love this place I promise! I got my nails done here and the acrylic was so thick and there were blobs of it on the underside of my nails, when I asked to have them fixed the woman yelled at me and basically told me it was my fault that my nails look that way and she would not fix. I asked for my money back then, and you would've thought o was as trying to rob them with how rude and defensive she got, she kept yelling and I assume she was trying to make uncomfortable so that I would just agree, but my feelings are not so easily hurt. would not recommend this place to anyone. They took extra money out of my account and blamed it on the bank, spoke with my bank and it was definitely regal nails taking more than i signed for. If you go there always use cash because they have taken extra without permission. They also mess up my mother's nails and didn't won't to fix it and she didn't pay and she left. TERRIBLE ! Read Less

Had a horrible experience tonight while I got my nails done....I went in after work hoping to relax some but he was rough and I've been going to this nail salon for quite some time now and I'm assuming it was getting close to closing time and he was in a hurry to get home (obviously I am too) but he didn't take his time in his work and just all around not what I'm used to....like I said been going here for a while and just a little frustrated about my experience......Hope you day goes better Sir! Sophia just did my pedicure. The store, inside the Walmart, was clean and pleasant. Probably the best pedicure. She took her time, was very thorough and very pleasant. Highly recommend. If I lived here this would be my place of choice. Read Less

Pretty good to be in Walmart. Nice young couple who do a really good job to do it so quickly. The biggest downside is having to look out at the Walmart shoppers staring right back at you. I would advise them to get tall plants that help block the pedicure stations. Read Less
