Love, love, love this nail salon. The shop is cute with an old, Southern charm and an easy, laid back atmosphere. My nail tech, Rachel, was absolutely amazing. She took her time on my gel manicure and then my pedicure. She explained every step and offered nail care tips. The pedicures are done in a basin at this salon and most of the tools are single use so you don't have to worry about things not being cleaned properly. In addition to customizing your mani/pedi with your polish selection, you also get to select the fragrance of your lotion and scrub with a wide variety of oils (I chose honey and cinnamon together for mine and it was sooo relaxing and warm). I ended up loving it so much that I took my 14 year old for a pedi there the next week (she chose the sweet pea scent). Highly recommended. Read Less

After having a couple bad experiences else where, I finally found the perfect nail salon. Rachel is amazing! So talented and sweet. Everyone's so welcoming and nice. I love that they educate you and teach you things you never knew about nails and how things are supposed to be done. It's cute and cozy in the salon. I'm new to the Summerville area and was in need of a good pedicure. I'm from the North so I hadn't been wearing sandals the last couple of months, so I needed it badly! I checked Yelp wondering what was good in the area- like most, I want the best quality, environment and most importantly- it NEEDS TO BE CLEAN. I am the type of girl that if I sense the place isn't clean, I will leave. I called ahead of time to make an appointment- initially no one answered but my call was soon returned to make an appointment. My nail tech was Mrs. Cece, she was really nice and very attentive. I was also offered coffee or water upon my arrival. I didn't feel like my pedicure was rushed- everyone in the salon was very nice and open to talk to me, especially being new to the area. I loved how they use a regular basin for their pedicure- there are no jets in their tubs, but thats ok because it is very clean. I've been to too many salons they do not clean their basins or run bleach through their system. I felt like this was a very sanitary way of doing things and the environment made it just as relaxing as a spa with massage chairs. Overall I felt very comfortable and the environment was very cozy. I got the Piggie pedicure that was $40, at first I wasn't sure if it would take care of my rough heels- but they do exfoliate quite a bit which is included in this pedicure. Overall, I was very impressed by the service and the kindness of the staff- I'm not used to going to a nail salon where people can understand you and want to talk to you. I had a job interview coming up and disastrous nails! I'd heard amazing things about this salon from friends so decided to give it a shot.  I really appreciated that they were able to see me on short noticed (I believe I called that morning!).The actual salon space is so adorably decorated! The nail technician was nice and the shop was beautiful. However, it was not worth $65 for the mani and pedi. My nails were done decently but I still had hang nails which from previous experience at other salons are removed with the excess cuticles. Also the nail tech removed the excess polish with her finger nails which is not hygienic at all. The position in which they performed the pedi on my feet was uncomfortable and painful as they bent my toes in a weird direction. Overall, I was not impress with the outcome of my mani and pedi. If you are a nail perfectionist like me, I wouldn't recommend this salon. Read Less

If you're tired of crappy nail salons look no further. This place is top notch!!!! ALL of the staff are EXTREMELY friendly and welcoming. The best part is that they ALL speak fluent english so they understand me when I ask for shorter nails or round nails. They were wonderfully clean and used new files and buffers on me and gave them to me for up keep after they were done using them on my nails. They made me extremely comfortable from the moment I walked in the door. They have a great candy bar and offer beverages too. The music is low and pleasant and really helps to set the tone. I went to this salon for a manicure, and it was by far the most enjoyable manicure experience I have ever had. My manicurist (Mrs. Deb) was friendly, helpful, and explained the process that Pinkies to Piggies does for their manicures. For $25, I got removal of old polish, an awesome polish manicure, and a hand and arm scrub. You even get to pick your own essential oil sent to have for your scrub.The only reason I didn't give this a five star review was because my manicure had a few spots on two or three nails where the polish was on my skin. I came in here twice while I was there visiting from California. I am so glad I found this place because everything was perfect. The decor, the people, the customer service. I wish California had places like this. My first trip there was by Cece and she gave me a coffin shaped nails with some daisies. I loved it and it stayed on for a long time! My second time was with Alicia for my engagement pictures. She did amazing and had me try the nail sculpting. I wish I knew about this before because I never wanna go back. Too bad I can't find places here in Cali that do it. Alicia was very fun to talk to and she did exactly as I envisioned. My nails where $100 because of the nail sculpting, the gel, the nail shape, and the swarovski crystals. It's crazy but it was worth it because it lasted for a whole entire month. I decided to make an appointment at Pinkies to Piggies due to the good reviews and I definitely made the right choice.  My visit started with picking out the fragrance for my foot soak and lotion.  There were over 40 choices and all smelled heavenly.  Then I looked at the choices of polishes and it there were much more than most salons and they were high quality brands.  Then when it was time for my pedicure, I sat in a cozy chair with pillows.  All the chairs are different and add to the ambiance.  While sitting I looked around the room and noticed the decor.  There were soft and beautiful touches all over the room.  The owner had fun decorating the shop.But the best part was the nail design Deb applied to my nails.  I am getting married in Alaska and asked for the colors of the northern lights.  With 3 different colored nail polishes and 5 different shimmery powders she created exactly what I was looking for ..... a swirl of purple, green, blue and shimmers of stars.  Way more than I expected and perfect for my wedding!!! I don't even know where to start. So my little sister lives in Summerville. She got married this past weekend. I live outside Philadelphia. When i started making sure she had all her beauty appointments booked, i found out she had NONE. In a panic, i started googling to find her hair and nails. Thankfully, I found Pinkies to Piggies. When i called up about an appointment, i was beyond thrilled. The owner (Debbie, i think ) was so gracious and helpful. She was able to arrange appointments for all five of us for that Friday (it was Monday when i called). When we arrived, there was a beautiful sign out front for my sister, and inside were tons of goodies and snacks, even homemade cupcakes from the owner! Our mani-pedi's were UNREAL amazing and every single lady left happier and stress-free. If I lived ANYWHERE near there, i would start going every week. Besides being extremely accommodating, the staff was beyond friendly. I never once felt like we were inconveniencing them. I brought my 8 year old in for her first mani/pedi. What a delightful and wonderful experience for her. I even enjoyed watching her being pampered....candy, refreshing drink and mini-cupcakes. Visited this nail spa two weeks ago and got a beautiful manicure with Shellac polish and a pedicure with the most amazing nail art. The Shellac polish is the best polish I've tried. It looks like I just got my nails done today and I didn't have wait for it to dry because the polish dried instantly. I found out about this nail polish while watching American Idol and Jennifer Lopez had mentioned it. The spa is beautiful, very clean and the prices are great. I'm bringing all my friends here.
