Last visit was my last. I’ve never been 100% satisfied with with nails and the last visit was the worst. I get light orange polish on my nails every year and have never had an issue with uneven polish or lines. Technician kept asking me to pick another color however her being the professional should be able to properly apply nail colors on display for use. When I suggested maybe using white under she asked why didn’t I mention it before she started. You’re being paid to professionally do nails these things you should know. My nails weren’t properly buffed after the fill-in. They are bumpy and quite frankly are an embarrassing mess. Pedicure was mediocre; paint was also unprofessionally applied. I came here yesterday for a pedicure because it was super close to home and seemed to have good reviews. I was greeted warmly and given wine (usually a good sign). The person doing my feet is a great conversationalist and kept the wine coming so of course, it seems like a good salon trip right? I was very wrong. I got home after a $40 pedicure and still had dry and peeling feet. This was the reason I came in the first place. I called the salon and the manager proceeded to tell me that the person had left and had already had 7 complaints and that he wouldn't believe her if she said anything, so I needed to come in at their convenience the next day to show him. I was told I would get the pedicure redone and here I am sitting in a chair with paste slathered on the soles of my feet for 15 minutes (not a redone pedi). Mind you I paid for one of the upgraded packages and was supposed to get a massage (which I did not). I found the interaction on the phone inappropriate, I should not have had to come in on the salons convenience when they close at 7pm, and I was not given a redone pedicure- just slathered some goo on my feet. This salon is very clean and the employees are friendly. My pedicure was awesome and relaxing. I didn’t feel rushed. Highly recommend this salon. I’ve been to them ALL.... and this one’s the best. Me and my mother in law went to this nail salon solely because our normal salon was not open on this day and the reviews were great.. we got there shortly after they opened and were seated in the pedicure chairs immediately.. the owner did my mother in law’s pedicure and an older woman, I believe to be the owner’s mother, did my pedicure.. I was extremely annoyed during the whole thing.. I had to ask her to scrub my feet again, and the owner intervened saying my feet had already been scrubbed.. they were scrubbed very softly for about 2 seconds on the bottom of each foot.. on top of that, our water was pretty much cold and she acted as if it was a problem when my mother in law asked her to refresh the water. Nail Creations has been hit or miss for me. In the past  I went to this location for GEL nail polish, over my natural nails and it appears to have ruined my natural nails, Thankfully they are starting to look healthy again, months later... I really think it was the fact that they didn't let the acetone or removal solution that they utilize to remove the gel polish remain on my nails long enough during the removal process to completely soak the polish off and instead hastily began scarping it off with some small tool, I knew this was likely going to lead to trouble and it did.The owner, hmm I have witnessed her being friendly to some of her customers, perhaps her regular customer base but I do not find that she is friendly, and does not convey that she wants my business.I dropped my mother off for a Pedicure at this location and when I picked her up it looked like they didn't put any lotion on her feet, or her lower legs, I was like WTH? I'm just leaving this nail salon. Did not receive service. I get that they were closing in 20 minutes and they may be booked but say that. Instead of the lady saying mam we are not able to take you because we are about to close and still have other clients to serve, they just continued to speak in their native language among each other and stare at me. Upon entering the salon, I was greeted warmly and informed it would be about a 30 min wait..I didn't mind, I'm free for the morning.They invited me to sit in one of their comfortable massage chairs until I could be serviced.I thought this was so nice and sweet of them. Moving to this area from Hawaii where it’s not hard to find a great nail shop, I was disappointed and never came back to the same nail shop twice, until I found this place. Le is my go-to girl here at this shop, and always does an amazing job. This is the only shop I’ve found in the Charleston/ greater Charleston area that I’ve been to more than once, and I refuse to go anywhere else. Prices are fair and the work is always great. They have a clean and professional environment, and usually always have time or same day availability. If you’re on a schedule, I do recommend calling first so you won’t have to wait. Read Less

Only had a basic pedicure with a friend and the ladies are really nice! The nail care is fantastic! These ladies really know what they're doing and they speak with you. The foot massage is pretty good. The pedi chairs are quite nice and don't feel like a million people have been in it before you. My feet feel so clean! Very good first impression. Read Less

Went to Coastal Pedicure for the first time today and it was such a great experience! I got a spa pedicure from Kathy and she was so kind, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the pedicure chair was super comfy and unlike any I've had for a pedicure, and all the products used had nice aromas that weren't overwhelming at all (like some can be). This pedicure is seriously blissful. I can't remember the last time I felt this relaxed. Everything about it-the staff, the ambience, the pedi itself, the warm neck pillows, those chairs (oh those chairs)-was perfection. I came here for my first pedicure ever after basically wearing combat boots for over two decades. My wife talked me into it and it was great! Ashley worked on my hooves and she was able to make them presentable I was brave enough to go back by myself today since the first experience was so enjoyable. Ashley did a great job and it was very soothing. Being the only guy there did not feel weird and the salon itself is very calming. Waited outside the salon to open but after 10 minutes past their opening time I had to find another place. Somewhat frustrating since I need at place that opened early. Coastal Pedicure is the best mani pedi experience I've ever had. I remebered my Mom got a mail advertisement in the mail a while back but we never had a chance to go. For Christmas I got her a gift certificate as a special treat and I'm so glad I did! I love it's appointment only. Most places take walk ins so their always under pressure to get people in an out so the other walks in aren't waiting. But here you make an appointment and it's time that focused just on you. The manicurist takes their time and you can tell the difference in service right away. I feel the price is right for the service. As a busy Mom the time to relax is very important.
