Ladies were extremely rude called my eyebrows ugly and did a horrible job painting my nails they aren’t painted to the tips of my nails only the center of the nail is painted and it looks really bad. The service was fine while Mai was doing my pedicure after that the service changed. I was here six days ago and payed over 100 and tip each individual that service me. My polish started to change brown and I came back and Vyvyian and the lady that is always giving orders had the worst attitude. They immediately said it was my fault. On top of that they tried to over charge me until I looked into the pricing they had posted and Vyvyian stated o that price is not listed. Before I went in I called and asked about a ombré fill in.. they told me $30. I said ok great I'm on my way.. I get there and do a pedicure and a fill in.. Victor did my pedicure which really sucked.. for $28 dollars all you get is a lotion and filing no massage or anything..so as time goes on I get my fill in.. he put the pink on then he started filing I'm like are you going to touch the tip up a little with white he said oh no that will be $40 dollars.. I'm like WHAT how when I specified I wanted an OMBRE fill in.. so Lysa the manager came and talked to me and she was no help.and didn't even care at all.. I have never been to a nail salon like this one.. over priced and don't get what you ask for.. I had doubts before I went in and should have went with my gut..and kept going..this is my first and last time in this shop.. Most unprofessional place you would ever want to go. I came in on a Thursday night for a fill in and gel polish. I advised the person doing my nails they were thick and I asked for thin, I also said I don't like them she stated well I have done all I could do so I asked to speak to the manager/owner she said it was the polish that had my nails looking fat and crooked. I was the last person in there so I paid. I called the next day, stated my nails need to be shaved down the owner stated they were okay when you left and I will have pay 30 more dollars to get that done. hi there, I usually do not give a MEH review, this is my first one....I like the work they do, and they are friendly. But seriously.....i do not like to be deceived by pricing, EVER!!! The price sheet says....classic pedicure $28.00...So you expect to pay $28 when you clearly say "Classic, THIS Is what I want" you would think it would be a no brainer, right? WRONG!  I pointed to the classic pedicure, and mentioned that I did not want a color, since I wanted the french pedicure, the lady said "Ok" and proceeds to sit me down and tell me that the classic pedicure does not include an exfoliation to the heels, I say fine by me! She says it is extra if you want that, I tell her I understand but NO thanks. She nods and motions towards a man , I realize he is the one that will be working on me. He starts to do the usual stuff, the soaking and the cuticle work.. I dont think much of anything, but then he takes out the scrub bar and starts to exfoliate my heels! I think, hold on.....then I see the lady that I talked to before looking my way and not saying anything....I am thinking , wait, SHE knows that I only wanted the classic, and she  is not stopping  him. Then, he takes out some gel with some grit in it and starts rubbing my legs. I think, whoa, THIS is the classic? But then he takes out a color and asks me, "this?" Then I realize that he has NO idea I wanted the french pedicure. I think...."I am gonna be charged more than $29 for this" and yep, I get to the counter and she tells me $33.00  Yep! I knew it.....I swear, there needs to  be better communication here. And no, I dont think that this is a misunderstanding, they conveniently use the whole language barrier to pretend that they don't understand what you really want...something tells me that this happens all the time. And I felt like I had heard this story before...I get on the phone with my sister, and she tells me "oh yeah, I asked for a classic pedicure too , and then they asked me if I wanted the exfoliation, and I told them yes..." But they had failed to tell her that it costs extra....Hmmmm. When I heard that from her, I decided that is it....I am looking for another nail place....there are plenty of others in Rock Hill, and I know for a fact that what you see on their price sheet, you actually get! This place is clean, well run, and inpires silent allegiance. When my friend and I were last here a few weeks ago, we experienced an unusually long wait, but as soon as we mentioned our wait time to Lisa we were seated. Additionally, at checkout, Lisa gave us both 10% off cards for our next visit. She provided excellent customer service, and we are back again tonight. If you like to have your Gel nails done in your lap while getting a pedicure at the same time, while feeling that you are being rushed then this is the place for you. *How can you relax? The whole point of a pedi I THOUGHT!*If you like the feeling of being unable to relax because you've got to worry about what's going on with your fingers & toes at the same time? This is the place for you! If you like uneven feeling/looking Gel nails & not being told of a $15 up-charge for French tips with 2 small designs, no French, on 2 fingers & oh again, the look of uneven noticeable Gel application, then this is the place for you. I have had my nails Gel polished about 5 or 6 times at another place & never had a break & my nails felt stronger- so far I've broken 1 nail completely off & 2 that are cracked at the quick, these are my REAL nails. Maybe this is because it is thicker at the bottom or bed of the nail than the tip. The pedicure was nowhere near what I expected, it was like they were scared to touch me, hardly any pressure & still rough heels & didn't even look like anything was done but polish (great job on the polish tho! 5 stars). Not at all worth $50!!! I paid $40 for the above "add-ons" (which would've been nice to have a little warning on price) with removal & application of Gel polish. By far the highest I've ever paid & didn't even get a manicure. I'm still a little appalled that they placed the Gel light lamp in my lap atop of several towels to do my nails?$90 down the drain. *The only positive thing: of the 3 different people I had working on me is the lady that did my toes & painted the design on my 2 fingers, was very friendly & very talented with my designs, beautiful! I was so pleased with Victor and Trendy Nail! I had the indulgent chocolate pedicure and I will definitely come back for it the next time I'm in town. The smell of the chocolate candle wax and the silky feel of paraffin...topped off with a delicious chocolate strawberry martini. Just fantastic. The manicures are all done at a bar, very trendy. The tech doing my hair never told me her name so I will call her the lady with purple hair and purple eyeglasses. When she finished using the drill on my nails I asked her to check my hands please. So many nails were lifting a little and she didn't want to use the nail clippers. I told her I don't want water getting under my nails and to clipIt. She did. Ladies that's how you get fungus nails. Make sure these nail techs are removing All the lifted nails Before they apply acrylic. Second she goes to polish my nails. Again I asked her can you check my hands. There was acrylic still hanging off my nails and you could see my real nails underneath. She began talking in a foreign language and pointing to my nails  I know they were talking about. I move over the the pedicure bowl for my feet polish change. The owner a rude ass lady comes over to polish my hands. Because I got glitter nail polish k asked her to add another coat to fill in the empty spaces she began yelling and said she can't. I didn't raise my voice but I started to go head to head with this lady. Look I came her to relax not teach people bit to do hand and feet. I will never come back Here again. I've been here here about 5 times and we never step foot in this place. The owner is rude woman and the technician don't know what the hell they doing. They also wanted to charge me $3 for nail Cut down I told her I don't want a cut down just use the drill and lightly smooth down. What's the big deal my nails were already a short length and no reason to charge for. Cut down. Next time I will go to Blush nail bar down the street. I won't be back....So, when I entered the salon, the lady greeted and started my services immediately. I asked for the classic pedicure priced at $28...the pedi was basic, not over the moon, but served the purpose. Lasted approximately 20 mins. After the pedi was done, the guy (Victor, I believe) started my nails. I came in for a fill-in, but had some lifting so he stated I needed a full set...ok, no problem...price in brochure $26. During my full-set, I asked how much for gel polish instead of regular polish. He stated "we'll do $10"...making me feel like there was some discount to the price. He finishes the full-set and did a good job. Minor complaints...but that's because I'm picky...most would be satisfied. My math skills are telling me that my total will be $64....when I get to the counter to checkout, the guy tells me it's $74. Excuse me?! For what? So he says my pedicure was $26...there was a $5 up charge to remove the nails I came in with (didn't tell me that) and the gel polish was an additional $15, not $10. I assume it was the manager that came over (Lysa) who stated it was $15. I explained that Victor told me $10. She says no, I say yes. She goes to get him and he says "I said $15." I said no, you said $10. He said maybe you didn't understand me...I said I understand you now, why wouldn't I understand you then?!?! The manager then says its in the brochure (which I had been reading the entire time) She hands me the brochure which says "gel polish with manicure extra $15." I ask how would that apply since I didn't get a manicure. She says its the same thing. I say whatever and turn back to the other young man. The young man then tells me that he'll take $5 off...I agree and say, fine, we'll meet in the middle. He then tells me my total: $74...hold up...isn't that the same number we started with?!?! I pay, state that it's ridiculous, to which he says its not. I say I won't be back...he says fine! So...if you want to be nickeled and dimed for your relaxation time, this is the place to go! If you're like me and want to know what you're paying for and pay reasonable prices, go somewhere else! I could have gotten the same services in Charlotte for $60! This place is a rip off!! Great service, friendly staff, decent prices, not overly crowded, and they let me take an unexpected nap in the massage chair as my relaxing pedicure ended. I wish I would've gotten the name of the girl who did my pedicure, but I know Lisa was very welcoming and made sure my group of 6 were all taken care of. We will be back for sure Read Less
