Ok so I visited this place twice. The first time I went it was actually on a referral from a coworker. The male nail technician was not very friendly at all and has 0 personality, he told me he wasn’t feeling well so I thought ok maybe that’s the reason he did a horrible job on my manicure!! I decided to give it another try since it’s close to my job. Big mistake!! I got the same man with the terrible attitude. He did not cut my cuticles at all and kept trying to convince me to get gel polish instead of regular. When I pointed out several things he wasn’t doing he rolled his eyes at me. I've been going to today's nail for about 10 years now I absolutely love Mr.Y and his wife!! They have a fantastic establishment always professional and always clean I know my nails will always look fantastic every time I go! This nail is the absolute best in Rock Hill they provide excellent service and I will forever remain a paying customer! Read Less

My sister and I got the mood change gel polish. Mine changed. Hers didn't. When I went back in to ask why, he said it's because of the length of her nails bc the nail beds are warm, so cold won't change the color unless you have long nails or acrylics. The woman didn't tell us that it wouldn't work and we paid $20 extra just for that polish and they didnt do anything. Read Less

If I had the option to leave the one star off, I would!!!! This was my 2nd time trying them I tried to give them a 2nd chance... But my pedicure looks terrible and old looking not the smooth and shiny pedi I'm used to the polish is on my toes lumpy and dry looking... and I got my eyebrows waxed but of course that doesn't look like it either.... I only tried them because I get my oil changed across the street and wanted to do something while I wait... But NEVER AGAIN...!!!! Read Less

Very disappointed.  Went there for a pedi with someone else and they started on her and I sat there for about 15 min, I understand, that's OK if nobody was there available to get me started but they didn't even fill the foot tub with water while I was waiting so I literally just sat there. In addition the chair was broken and the lady doing my friends nails told me to push the button, which clearly I had pressed them all and it wasn't moving and she saw me pressing it and selecting a mode and talking to my friend about how it wasn't working - no response.The reason I was most upset is because my big toenail was broken pretty far down on the side and before she even filled the tub of water I asked the lady to put acrylic or gel on top of the broken nail so it didn't get broken and be super short compared to the other one. I actually asked for acrylic on both big toes so they looked even.  I wasn't paying much attention, trying to enjoy my pedi since the chair was broken and when it was time to paint my nails she just started painting and I said wait wait I asked for acrylic on my big toes, that's when I looked down and SHE HAD CUT/TORN/RIPPED OFF MY BIG TOENAIL HALFWAY DOWN STRAIGHT ACROSS WHERE IT WAS JUST BARELY BROKEN ON THE SIDE and then she claimed it was going to look fine when it was super short compared to my other one, I WAS LIVID.  Then after further explaining that I didn't want my other nail to be super short to match the broken one she sent me to get acrylic by another nail technician there. He added acrylic to both, exactly how I wanted, then she did the sloppiest nail painting job I've ever had from a salon. Nearly all my cuticles had paint on them.My mom said she went there once and the lady didn't wipe off the oil or lotion before painting her nails and that the polish all came off the next day.  I really hate writing negative reviews but I really don't feel like they care about the final product.  I don't feel like they care about the job they do.  Good tail techs make sure they do a good job, not just throw nail polish on and not care. Hands down I love getting my mani by Y @ Today Nails! I've been going to Y for years to do my Solar white tip nails. He's incredibly precise and listens to exactly how you like your nails to be done. Plus he takes pride in his work. I literally drive 35 mins just for him to do my nails. Trust me when I say this cause I've been to $$ places in Charlotte and still nobody does an amazing job like Y.
