They were running15 minutes late on my appt, then totally forgot to add gold stripes on nails when they said they could. Girl that said she could fix it explained it would take awhile and you tell she genuinely didn’t want to fix the mistake because they kept me for 2 1/2 hrs, till 7:30pm. So I said, just don’t worry about it. Then paid, walked out, they mopped at the entry right before I walked out. Completely slipped on the wet floor and had to get my nails re-done. Im currently new to rock hill this summer while make it a year since ive been here, I went to my previous nail tech Tom for about 10 yrs before I moved from New Jersey so you can imagine how hard it has been trying to find someone to replace him. I have been to just about every nail salon in rock hill ALL WERE UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCES. I began to get discouraged. I had an appointment 3/28/2018 @ 11:15 @ the face Lyle location #1 THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECIEVED FROM MICHAEL @ THE FRONT DESK WAS TOP OF THE LINE ND I'M STICKLER FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! HE WAS PLEASANT AND HUMBLE AND VERY UNDERSTANDING EVEN THOUGH I WAS RUNNING LATE DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS. I WAS SEATED AND TAKEN CARE OF BY A NAIL TECH JESSICA.BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY I WAS NERVOUS AT 1ST ALL TO BE BROUGHT TO A RELAXING PLACE BY MS JESSICA HER ATTENTION WAS COMPLETELY DRAWN TO ME AND MY WANTS AND NEEDS HER EYE FOR DETAIL IS AMAZING SHE IS TRULY 1 OF A KIND! The technicians were clipping and trimming the warts thinking they were callouses and I believed them. I'm having to see a dermatologist monthly to get them cut and burned off for 6-8 months. Which so far has cost me almost $1,000 dollars. No response from calls and emails to Blush. Don't be fooled by the pretty decor. I'd hate to know how many other people had this same issue from dirty tools. DO NOT GO TO EITHER LOCATION!! Read Less

This place is depressingly dark, the nail techs don't like their work (at least the ones who have done my nails.), and the choice of movies was disturbing, as well.(it was playing on a huge screen that all the chairs face and is difficult to avoid.) Every now and again when I treat myself, I want it to be a pleasant experience, but the times I've been here, I couldn't get out of there quickly enough. I really did give it a few chances. I was reflecting on my experience here about a year ago and finally decided to leave a review. I hate to be negative but I also value honesty.  I was discussing this with my mother recently, who I found out later went as well at a different time and she had a very similar experience (it's possible that we both had the same technician). My bridesmaids took me here before my wedding last year, and it was my first time ever getting my nails done. I was made to feel uncomfortable and foolish from the start and left wth a poor end result.The woman (whose name I can't recall) who was helping me was very rude and put me on the verge of tears. I was told that my choice in colors was wrong and bullied into a color that I disliked and did not go with my wedding dress, made to feel like an idiot when I didn't know what to do without being told (like I said, my first time ever), fussed at loudly for biting my nails (which I had immediately pointed out I was embarrassed by), fussed at for not using the massage chair (which I am uncomfortable with as t hurts my back) or taking any of the offered wine, and was told angrily to relax multiple times (it's hard to relax when you're being yelled at by a stranger in public). I was completely miserable the entire time I was there and the final product lasted all of a few hours before chipping. Definitely not worth the price that my bridesmaids paid for the service.I would like to give Blush the benefit of the doubt, since so many people seem to like it. Maybe this was just a bad day for the technician who I had the misfortune of ending up with. That may be the case, but I will definitely not be returning and, based on my own experience, would not recommend the salon. Read Less

Many times I have gone here with high hopes and always get let down. My nana has had her toes done and the guy doing it made her bleed. Then my appointments always run behind. The last straw was today when I accidently went to the wrong location and we asked if they could call celanese store and tell them we were on the way. I've been a frequent customer for over 3 years now to get my gel polish manicures and basic pedicures.  Cheyenne is the sweetest and best! She takes great care of my natural nails and takes her time making sure im satisfied with the color selection. I book every two-three weeks and never have a problem making or booking an appointment. Im always asked if I want to reschedule my next appointment before leaving and greeted every time I walk in by name by Jamie and Angel! I absolutely love coming here to unwind and treat myself on Fridays and Saturdays! If I can't make the Dave Lyle location, I see Nancy at the Celanese location. Read Less

I gave 2 stars because of the very nice atmosphere. This place has an atmosphere like something you would find in Charlotte. However, the service And quality of Work isn't the same. My nail tech wasn't a very pleasant person. She Seemed annoyed mostly by my being there. I payed $75 + for a full set of nails and a basic pedicure. I was rushed out before my pedi dried which the paint obviously got screwed up. My full set was not done very well. 8 out of 10 of the tips have bent off (I say bent because the literally just bent off During a basic activity like cooking biscuits). without any major reason. One bent off while I was doing my hair. For The price They charge I would expect exceptional quality. Maybe a good place for a manicure but if you want a full set of nails done right this place is over priced and under delivers. Read Less

This place sucks... don't know what all the hypes about.. overly priced nail service and the manicurist did a terrible job. it was my first time there and definitely my last .. when I asked to get an upgraded pedicure Tang aka the manicurist said NO because I was scheduled for a basic pedicure.. when I made my phone appointment the receptionist never gave me an option.. I showed the manicurist a picture of what I wanted .. the shape and color to make it easy for him.. during my service I kept correcting him because it wasn't looking like what I ordered.. he kept telling me just wait.. I'm still not done. . After more than an hour later my nails looked terrible.. I told him this is not what I asked you for.. my request was very simple.. he mentioned he had been there since 9am exhausted and hadn't eaten.. I told him pls cut them off because when I get home I'm going to take them off.. my  pedicure and nail service lasted 3 hours what a waste of time and money .. I left very upset and disatisfied and still had to pay $76... I wouldn't go back even if they offered to do them for free.. all your paying for is the ambiance which in reality isn't all that.. Every one was super sweet..$57 + tip is a bit pricey to go too often for me ...$27 for a standard pedicure with regular polish and $30 for  basic blush manicure with gel polish. Gal did do a nice job...i didn't have to come home and refile which i normally do with most other salons....most do not eliminate the jagged edges of real nails.... Space is lovely....fancy decor...you do get a beverage of choice which was a nice unexpected surprise. Best massage chairs around....A bit low key for a grand opening in my opinion. Would have loved some grand opening specials though...like free design with services....something like that....over all a pleasant experience....will visit again..pre-booked next appoint for mani only...They do have a loyalty card. Prior to today, Blush would've received five stars across the board, no question. But today, well, I'm not really pleased. For one, the strict appointment policy can be slightly annoying if you decide last minute that you want a manicure and then get told you can't get it done that day. Today I had an appointment because I wanted a gel polish change. Everything was going well, but I observed that my nails were growing pretty quickly since getting a fill in last week. I would've gotten another fill because I know my nails grow quickly (thanks ItWorks vitamins!). She insisted that it wasn't necessary. Well she applied two very thick coats of gel polish. It was not smooth and perfect as in the past. (I had been coming every week). I know she meant well, but it was a mess because the bottle was clearly almost empty, which affected the consistency. Then when I went to pay, I nearly passed out when they told me it was $22! I just knew she made a mistake, since this was just a polish change. No manicure, massage, etc. No mistake, this was the price! A fill would've cost $29.45 (cash price)Then to add insult to injury, my polish change is a complete disaster and I have to make ANOTHER appointment. I'm very upset. The prices are highly inflated for the area and the costs aren't justified. I love the ambience, but since I enjoy a polish change weekly, Blush wouldn't be cost effective for me. Read Less
