Prior to today, Blush would've received five stars across the board, no question. But today, well, I'm not really pleased. For one, the strict appointment policy can be slightly annoying if you decide last minute that you want a manicure and then get told you can't get it done that day. Today I had an appointment because I wanted a gel polish change. Everything was going well, but I observed that my nails were growing pretty quickly since getting a fill in last week. I would've gotten another fill because I know my nails grow quickly (thanks ItWorks vitamins!). She insisted that it wasn't necessary. Well she applied two very thick coats of gel polish. It was not smooth and perfect as in the past. (I had been coming every week). I know she meant well, but it was a mess because the bottle was clearly almost empty, which affected the consistency. Then when I went to pay, I nearly passed out when they told me it was $22! I just knew she made a mistake, since this was just a polish change. No manicure, massage, etc. No mistake, this was the price! A fill would've cost $29.45 (cash price)Then to add insult to injury, my polish change is a complete disaster and I have to make ANOTHER appointment. I'm very upset. The prices are highly inflated for the area and the costs aren't justified. I love the ambience, but since I enjoy a polish change weekly, Blush wouldn't be cost effective for me. Read Less
