I really needed my nails done before Easter. I couldn't find any openings for the nail salons I normally go to, so I gave Nail Trends a go. First off, there was an argument between a customer and the nail tech which made me feel uncomfortable. If you close at 7 and you don't want to take anyone, turn your open sign off and close your door. I understood where the customer was coming from, she was waiting but you took someone who came in way after her. She asked the nail tech about it and he cursed her out and kicked her out. Unfair. So when I finally got into a seat, the nail tech rushed through my full set and painted a really bad design. My nails were uneven ( I had gotten coffin tips) and the gel had lumps in it. When I expressed my dislike, he gave me attitude and told me to pay and get out. Worst experience ever over nails. I visited here this morning before going to another nail shop. You will encounter musical chairs from them, sat in two different chairs before heavy set girl rude no greeting or anything just what are you getting done today? The other black girl who set an appointment for another client of hers had 1 girl in chair and one waiting. Tells client I'm going to hook you up with my other nail tech who's chair I was sitting in that she would do it. This chick going to send me to another chair. See why you can't or skeptical on supporting black businesses or nail techs! I took my business elsewhere. Never will I visit this nail salon again not even for a free service. Unprofessional staff. Very rude to my roommate said her eyebrows were ugly and needed to be done then keep trying to talk her into a higher price service for her nails. I asked for 28 full set and I was charged 43 for gel nails when I did not ask for that he put it on my fingers with out saying it was gel polish. Then proceed to tell my roommate that he didn’t care if her nails got messed up Bc they were closing and she couldn’t dry them in the salon I will never go back Read Less

Can't lie, the nails were pretty, but the experience was terrible. Called on a Saturday to set an appointment for Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday rolled around, and no one was there to open the salon at 9:30 a.m. Waited till about 10:00 a.m., when I saw the 1st person walk in and open the salon. Went in to find out that the person I scheduled an appointment with was off that day. I was referred to her by a friend, and wanted to see her work. Upon entering, I met the owner, and 1 of his nail techs, his nail Tech did a great job with the polish, but the owner, Mike did my acrylic. He was very rough, and seemed rushed, like he didn't have time to be "bothered" by me. Yet, the whole hore and a half to two hours I was there, I was the only customer. During the appointment, a lawyer walked in, with a case of a claim filed by another customer who got an infection. At that time, I was finally done. I have never been so disrespected in my life. The workers here told me to leave and go somewhere else. All I wanted was a pink and white set and he told me couldn't do it so I said can you just take the acrylic off and just give me a fresh overlay. I do not know what happened bc I wasn't rude only trying to make sure he was understanding me and vice versa. I went to another lady and she just looked at me and said she couldn't help. I could understand if I was being disrespectful or even if they were busy, but they weren't. It was only one customer there. When I get my nails done, I always leave a tip so that the tech knows I appreciate their service. I am not sure what happened here- I do know that I will never attend Nail Trends. I've only been there one on other occasion. Sorry for the long winded review but this is the only way my concern will be heard bc it's not like I can go to their manager. Do not give these people your money! They charge $25 to polish toes with gel polish and the Gel Polish is not Gel, they guaranteed the polish would last one month! My polish came off in less than a week! When I returned to them they gave me no explanations! Save your Hardworking money on better Quality and Customer Service!!! Read Less

I went in today and this guy literally started hacking away at my nails and telling me how horrible they were. He told me not to talk and let him do my nails.
