If I could give a ZERO I would. I am new to the area and tried the mall close to me. I called and made an appointment and they said regular polish fill in $15.00. I went in and the place was not busy ...
If I could give a ZERO I would. I am new to the area and tried the mall close to me. I called and made an appointment and they said regular polish fill in $15.00. I went in and the place was not busy but very loud from employees, I could not understand what was being said. He told me to go to #9 I sat down as she never greeted me and acted like I was bothering her? Didn't ask what I wanted and started to take my polish off as she continued to talk to the employees. I did have 3 broken nails, so she said it would be $25.00 not $15.00 (1st communication). So I said okay! Well she started to put my new tips on without prepping, when I questioned she was annoyed (2nd communication) The picture of my hands shows that she was going to cover where my nails were lifting on the sides and she was not going to fix. Anyone that has their nails done knows they have to clip that to fill in or the nails will lift still. She was rough and started throwing my hands around so I said I'm not doing this. She sat back and said ok (3rd communication) I asked for the manager and she said he was not there. She pointed me to a woman that said oh you want someone else, she didn't even look at me so I said absolutely not. I called back after I left to speak with a manager, she said he is not there and proceeded to argue with me about my experience, I had to hang up she would not listen only argued what she thought (she was not the one who attempted to do my nails). I don't know why it still amazes me but, what crappy disappointing service. Do yourself a favor an try somewhere else. I wish I would have read the reviews first.....

But they were open on Sunday

Thanks again magic nails my coffin nails were done superbly and my toes only got a gel nail polish but the level of treatment on my feet was beyond great. Of course I’ll be returning!💅🏾💆🏾♀️👍🏾

Tries this place consistently for the last two months. To begin, there is no sign in sheet, you have to stand at the counter to wait to even be acknowledged and prices change every time I come. I get a gel overlay on my natural nails and a fill every two weeks. Today I paid almost 40 dollars for a fill in. I will never give this place anymore of my money.

Worse experience ever. They charge you extra for everything. They do not have prices posted so you don't know if they are charging everyone the same prices. They are not sterile. And who charges extra just because you request mood gel polish? This salon does they charge $3 more for more gel than regular gel and I was charged $25 just for gel polish on my toes which is outrageous as hell every other salon I went to charge $15 for gel on your toes. Keep in mind I didn't have a pedicure just gel polish placed in my toes. Stay away from this place they are unsterile crooks.

I was in town this weekend for a friends wedding I got a fill in and repair. 4 days later THE TOP layer of acrylic/tip falls off of my real nail.... I repeat 4 DAYS LATER. This place uses the CHEAPEST products and charges for every single little thing. Something similar happened to me twice last year which is why I stopped going. Stop cheating people and GIVE THEM WHAT THEY PAY FOR..

Average nail place. I went there to get a gel manicure and although it was very pretty at the end, the nail technician took a drill to get the polish off because he did not want to wait for it to soak off. Now my nail beds and cracked and flaky, and I had to cut them short because the grinding made them brittle. Disappointing because I had finally gotten my nails long and strong. The staff is friendly, but their "waxing" room does not seem sanitary and doubles as a supply closet. There are certainly nicer, cleaner ones that I prefer to go to in the Charleston area.

Too bad choosing zero is not an option. One of the worst experiences I've ever had! The nail technician was extremely curt and rude. I went in for an overlay which is done on your regular nails. She tried to cut so many corners, and every time she tried to skip a step, I directed her back to the procedures. She barely filed the acrylic in each nail to smooth and shape them and buffing was even worse. My nails look horrible! She didn't want to use a base coat for the polishing process and she used the UV topcoat...which was asked by me not to be used. To top things off, as I was sitting drying my nails, another technician began to mop around my feet...LITERALLY!! I stated that it was a safety hazard for him to do so, but he said "you'll be fine". At that point, I got up and left. I will NEVER return that Magic Nails and do not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Wish I had taken a photo but two nails were round one was square all the others were slanted it was a mess! Whenever I asked her to fix one she would immediately start speaking a different language to the lady next to her. It was very uncomfortable experience. Right after I left there I went to PRINCESS NAILS in mount pleasant who were so kind and welcoming and more than happy to fix the mess I had. LOVE my new nails from PRINCESS NAILS

I was just visiting SC, and saw this nail salon was near my hotel so I thought I'd give it a shot. There was zero wait when I walked in, and everyone greeted me immediately. Ana was my technician. She was super friendly and sweet, and I thought she did a very good job on my nails. I got a full set with gel, which cost $41, and I didn't think that was a bad price! My only issue was that I had to tell her two or three times I wanted acrylic, not just gel. But once she figured it out, I had no problems. Overall, my experience was great and I would recommend this salon to others!

This place sucks! They try to charge you 5$ extra for the length of your nails , they charge you to take your nails off, and when I went in they charged me for gel when I got acrylic. When I asked someone else why she did that he just said oh and walked away! Don't let them scam you. Make sure you know what you're getting charged for and what they are doing. Every time I've been there I've had a bad experience and rude nail techs. Patrick and diem are unfriendly and only care about getting your money. I will never come back to this place and I urge everyone reading this to not go here ever !

Then in beginning my gel pedi he didn't even take the old nail polish off fully! After this I asked him to fix the gel at the end because it was all over my toes and he got upset. Overall worst experience and never going back. Word to the wise don't waste your time unless you enjoy gel nail polish everywhere on your toes!!

This place was average and then my nails and my aunts nails got messed up so hence the 2 stars. The hours are convenient and so when everyone shut down at 7pm this was the only place to go. Plenty of nail technicians so our wait wasn't long. My biggest complaint is that the fans they have to dry your nails at the end don't work. I waited for probably 15minutes and it still wasn't fully dry. I also woke up the next morning to a chip in my nail. My aunt had over three coats put in so hers took even longer to dry. She left before hers did and they smudge really bad. I understand that is mostly her fault but the dryer was useless and we had already been there almost 2 hours.Like I said....average but they need to update their products and fixtures.

I used to frequent this location dud to convenience. Came here today because they're open on Sunday. Guy cut the skin on my big toe and there was bleeding. They have a $25 pedicure although the pedicure flyer doesn't show it, it is list on their walled price menu. My pedi was good abd toes lik amazing. There is a lack of rapport.

If I could give a ZERO I would. I am new to the area and tried the mall close to me. I called and made an appointment and they said regular polish fill in $15.00. I went in and the place was not busy but very loud from employees, I could not understand what was being said. Too bad choosing zero is not an option. One of the worst experiences I've ever had! The nail technician was extremely curt and rude. I went in for an overlay which is done on your regular nails. She tried to cut so many corners, and every time she tried to skip a step, I directed her back to the procedures. She barely filed the acrylic in each nail to smooth and shape them and buffing was even worse. My nails look horrible! She didn't want to use a base coat for the polishing process and she used the UV topcoat...which was asked by me not to be used. To top things off, as I was sitting drying my nails, another technician began to mop around my feet...LITERALLY!! I stated that it was a safety hazard for him to do so, but he said "you'll be fine". Whenever I asked her to fix one she would immediately start speaking a different language to the lady next to her. It was very uncomfortable experience. I was just visiting SC, and saw this nail salon was near my hotel so I thought I'd give it a shot. There was zero wait when I walked in, and everyone greeted me immediately. Ana was my technician. She was super friendly and sweet, and I thought she did a very good job on my nails. I got a full set with gel, which cost $41, and I didn't think that was a bad price! My only issue was that I had to tell her two or three times I wanted acrylic, not just gel. But once she figured it out, I had no problems. Overall, my experience was great and I would recommend this salon to others!

Pedicure was ok, short. Manicure was hurried and sloppy. I shouldn't be leaving with chips and polish and my fingers. Pics to follow.

This place sucks! They try to charge you 5$ extra for the length of your nails , they charge you to take your nails off, and when I went in they charged me for gel when I got acrylic. When I asked someone else why she did that he just said oh and walked away! Don't let them scam you. Make sure you know what you're getting charged for and what they are doing. Every time I've been there I've had a bad experience and rude nail techs. Patrick and diem are unfriendly and only care about getting your money. I will never come back to this place and I urge everyone reading this to not go here ever !

Worst pedicure ever! Being a new comer to SC I trusted my toes to YELP.. I'm a little weary now..The individual who did my pedicure didn't take the time cut down my nails until asking. Then in beginning my gel pedi he didn't even take the old nail polish off fully! After this I asked him to fix the gel at the end because it was all over my toes and he got upset. Overall worst experience and never going back. Word to the wise don't waste your time unless you enjoy gel nail polish everywhere on your toes!!

This place was average and then my nails and my aunts nails got messed up so hence the 2 stars. The hours are convenient and so when everyone shut down at 7pm this was the only place to go. Plenty of nail technicians so our wait wasn't long. My biggest complaint is that the fans they have to dry your nails at the end don't work. I waited for probably 15minutes and it still wasn't fully dry. I also woke up the next morning to a chip in my nail. My aunt had over three coats put in so hers took even longer to dry. She left before hers did and they smudge really bad. I understand that is mostly her fault but the dryer was useless and we had already been there almost 2 hours.Like I said....average but they need to update their products and fixtures.

No one greeted me when I walked in, I sat for 10mins as they were busy, and finally I had to say something. First pass...ok, so finally they had me pick a color and sit down in a pedi chair. This woman comes over with a basket of tools that I can only hope and pray that was sanitized, and didn't say not one thing to me. Starts taking off the color, but not filling up the tub with any water! Uh, excuse me us this normal for a pedi?? Then she stated that she thought I was getting a nail color change?? You didn't ask me anything lady so how would you know!!!! She's talking to all the other guests but me. Ok, you're not getting a tip! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE! Since it was my first times getting my nails done I didn't ask for much, but the customer service was the best. They didn't pay much attention if they were hurting the skin, one employee cut my skin while filing. It also wasn't very sanitary, I could've sworn I saw a cockroach on one of the pedicure seats. I was pleased with how the nails turned out but not excited.

I used to frequent this location dud to convenience. Came here today because they're open on Sunday. Guy cut the skin on my big toe and there was bleeding. They have a $25 pedicure although the pedicure flyer doesn't show it, it is list on their walled price menu. My pedi was good abd toes lik amazing. There is a lack of rapport.
