I used to love this place, I really did. The last couple of times have not been positive experiences. Once I had the beginnings of an ingrown toenail, and one of the pedicurists dug it out. Painful and a big no-no to do that anywhere other than a podiatrist's office. This last time I asked for a French manicure. Before I got the base color done, Tina? tried to talk me into gel, which I refused due to the $20 upcharge. I continued to say no after she continued to tell me... how important it would be, and of course I hardly understood her, but I kept saying, no, just a regular French manicure. The manicurist (a man) applied a base color - nude - and then sent me to the drying station. I thought I would be going back for the white tips, but nope. I was done. When I questioned it, after my nails were dry, Tina said that she thought I didn't want it. Thankfully the woman sitting next to me, who is very assertive, spoke on my behalf and told Tina that I was very clear. Tina told me she would then do it, but by this time I had made so many others wait that I declined. I now have nude nails, which look very clean, but it is not at all what I wanted and I'm really disappointed. See More Read Less
