First of all the color on the swatch didn't match the color they applied so he had to put white underneath and it looked ok. My manicure wasn't neat, it looked sloppy and another employee got an attitude with me after I mentioned that the sample colors are different than the actual colors. He told me I was gonna pay regardless which I had already paid the guy who did my nails like 30 minutes earlier and I was just waiting on someone else to finish. I never said a word about not paying, HOW RUDE!!! I won't be coming back here...back to happy nails I go!!! While at the beach in February I visited this nail salon and I pleased with Jennifer's service. I was so pleased that I decided to visit this nail salon on my next trip to the beach. When I got there I walked up to Jennifer and asked her how long would the wait be, a simple question, and she answered but she was very rude. I didn't take it personally. I recently visited the beach again and decided to try this shop again. I asked her again about the wait and she was rude. I asked her when was a good time to come and she stated not the weekend. Well it was a Tuesday... I gave her the benefit of the doubt and both times she was rude. I'm almost convinced she may be racist. She's definitely unprofessional. She had the nerve to say that she knew that I lived out of town. One would think she would be appreciative that I traveled to her salon. Last thing, an African American lady, walked in and asked her what time did they close. Jennifer told her the time and the lady said thanks and walked out. I overheard Jennifer say I hope she doesn't come 30 minutes before we close. I can understand her saying that but she shouldn't have said that in front of customers. Some things you keep to yourself. Not sure why all the reviews but I have had an awesome experience every time I go. They are on the more expensive side. Even though I usually go as a treat to myself when I get a break from my children...they are always nice to my kids. However this is a spa. Not a daycare. I know that I don’t wanna go in prepared to spend top dollar to listen to babies crying or kids who’s parents have no control over how they act in public! I get my nails done here because they have excellent cleaning tools. I have had the same man do my nails because he is great. Kevin. It took a while for him to understand exactly what I wanted but I love going here. One thing I have noticed is how disrespectful customers are on their phones. We came here to relax! The second time in a row I've been there and got terrible service. Went back thinking it was just that particular Nail Tech but no. I showed them three different pictures of ombre nails I found online and for whatever reason they didn't know how to do them, so I chose a plain red with one silver glitter nail & snowflake design & they still got it wrong. The design looked like a child done it...so I told her to remove it. The nails tips were put on crooked and are different sizes. And God forbid don't complain because they get an attitude about it and walk away. I came here once 2 years ago and had a good experience so I decided to get my pedicure while on vacation. I'm just really not happy with the way my pedicure turned out at all. Water about burned my feet. The massage is usually the best part of a pedicure and I even opted for the one right above the classic...not impressed by the massage at all. Wish I would've just done the classic.  But to make matters worse my polish looked awful in the salon and it was like no one could see it but me. They tried to fix it by layering another coat on top and made the polish thick and weird looking now. Most of the sides of my nails have no polish on them. If the color is old throw it out! If the technician sees the color isn't going to work right and they can't perform at their best then be honest and help me pick out a similar color! I really wanted to like this salon but the visit today has made me upset that I paid for something and didn't get my money's worth. The staff seemed nice enough but I just can't understand why nails looking like this coming out of a salon is okay and acceptable. Googled "kid friendly nail salon" and this was one that popped up. It had good reviews so thought I'd give it a try. Myself, my mother-in-law, and my 2.5 year old daughter went for a special girls day. As soon as we walked in and they saw my daughter, they tried to talk me out of gel polish. "She won't sit still, she'll pick at it." Ok, thanks for the advice, but if I'm paying for a service, do it with a smile on your face. I'm not asking for anything for free, and this isn't... our first rodeo. My daughter has been getting her nails done for about a year and I know it chips, but after we leave the salon, it's my problem not theirs. With that being said, my MIL and myself got pedicures first, and my daughter sat in our lap the whole 45 minutes and didn't say a word, didn't mess with anything, didn't run around...honestly, I couldn't have asked for better, well behaved daughter. Then when it was her turn for her nails, which she was SO EXCITED for, the guy (I'm assuming he's the owner) talked me out of gel again and tried to talk me out of regular Polish too. He couldn't have been any more obvious of how much he hated and didn't want to paint my daughters nails. She was perfect. The one time she flinched, it was because a baby started crying and she turned around to see. The guy doing her nails actually made an audible grunt of disgust. Needless to say, my daughter sat still and even sat under the fans to dry them. And what do you know...THEY ARE STILL FINE! I have never felt so unwelcome at any other nail salon in my life. My MIL and myself confronted the "owner" and the lady did her pedicure because she heard her making comments too, so if they are reading this review...HEY! You suck at business! We will NOT BE BACK, and anytime someone asks us where to go (because we always have our nails done) I'll be sure to tell where NOT to go. I'm sorry my money wasn't good enough for you. I absolutely love this place! This is my go to. I just went in there today to get my nails done for my daughters birthday next weekend to match her theme. They are perfect I take my daughter with me every time I go and they are wonderful with her and me. This time I went and my almost 2 year old daughter was using my phone to watch mickey then it came time to do the designs so I had to take my phone back and one of the workers was so sweet to turn mickey on her phone and let my daughter use it until I was done. I just relocated from NY so I'm picky about my nails and was really nervous about finding a good salon. I get an acrylic fill with gel polish and I like an oval shape. My nail tech, "Linda", was great! She respected my requests and she was really funny, too. She did a great job. The salon itself is clean and bright and the staff was pleasant. I went to nail envy for the first time today.  I was so impressed with my entire experience! I made an appointment for the espresso pedicure this morning online before they even opened.  On my way to the appointment I got stuck in traffic and called to let them know I would be late.  They were very understanding and gave me no trouble for showing up 10 minutes late.  The salon is so clean! The pedicure was very very relaxing.  The tech (can't remember her name) did an amazing job cutting my nails and the massages (yes plural) were amazing!! I wish I could give you a 0! I paid 25$ for my daughter to have her nails and toes painted. A manicure/ pedicure was not performed. The staff was rude when asked to fix her nails. And my friends 7 year old daughter looked like she did her own nails and it completely fell off less than 12 hours later. When asked for a refund they refused and said they would gladly fix it. Which fell off again later the same day. 25$ is a lot for 7 hours worth of watered down nail polish. After my friends negative review on this page someone tried to argue back and forth with her. Wow! They responded to a reservation request at 846p on a Friday night for a hopeful girls' outing at 9a on Saturday....12/31 even! We arrived a few minutes late but they sat us right away anyway. Mom and I visited Nail envy today. It was below average. Initially, I was happy. Great location. Long massage. Kind staff. Once I returned home, I saw all the errors. The polish is wavy, and already chipping. Also I scratched myself with on of my nails, and I remember that he never filed the nails. They were just clipped and left rough. He didn't wipe the excess polish around the nail. I felt like he didn't care, and for $27, the job was below average. We will not be returning, instead will go to tropical nail salon instead. I tried them for a UV Liquid Gel manicure. I was somewhat surprised that the tech didn't have me wash my hands between the buffing and applying gel/polish. Also he didn't understand me that clearly (thankfully another tech sitting nearby understood and relayed the information). Unfortunately at $50, I think the service is a little pricey. I am from NY and the techs/salons don't charge that much. I wasn't offered the opportunity for another appointment, a card, etc. Sadly, I most likely will not return or recommend anyone to the salon. This place cannot be beat as far as service and price go.  Spa pedicures are above and beyond include several different treatments, hot stones, hot towels, lengthy massages and leisurely service extras like complementary wine, water, tea etc...phenomenal services all around to include manicure and waxing.  The salon itself is clean, bright and relaxing in decor and ambiance.  The pedicure chairs are high quality and have great massage settings. They never rush and will converse as little or as much as you like.  A huge amount of color options to include gels with perfect match swatches.  I can't recommend them enough if you live in the MB area or are just swinging through town on a vacation...this business will truly pamper you. This place is great. All of the staff were so nice and attentive and funny. The facilities are pristine. They had a good option of nail polish colors and wide range of manicure/pedicure options. They also serve wine while they do nails. The hand and food massage portion of the services were to die for. And during all of this extreme pampering, that massage chair works wonders.
