I came in to get a full set . I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so I asked how much a couple different designs would be (very pricey) . I then get just gel polish on a full set , long & the man tried to argue with me that it was going to be more than the owner had already quoted me . I wantes coffin & he did so but nails were put on crooked . I asked him to file more at the top to make it more sharp yet still coffin & he acted like He couldn’t do that so he was getting irritated & started jerking my hands . I then switch to the owner (I believe) I show him how I wanted the glitter on my ring finger & he acted like He couldn’t see what it was , clearly he didn’t know how to do it. he also started to get mad because I kept telling him to add more . I've never had good manicure experience at HERE in before. And really like it! I stepped in and they took care of me immediately! They really take their time to give me the best possible experience. They are so detailed to me. Tools are clean which is most important in my mind. I have kept going in every 2-3 weeks since then to get manicures. Worth EVERY penny. Read Less

A guy named Peter did my nails. He is very professional. He makes great conversation and he listens to the desires of costumers. Only thing that I didn't like is the manager. He tries to charge you so much more money than they normally do. Read Less

I just went in yesterday to see if it was too late for a polish change (I think I got there 30 minutes before closing and it was a lady and her daughter in front of me). One lady greeted me and and I asked her, she replied nicely and seemed really nice, however, who ever the guy was cut our conversation off by talking to her in there language and then replied with an attitude, asking if I wanted it on my nails. I said no on my toes, he said then it’ll be $15 (which to me is pricey for something that’s only going to take 5 minutes). I just left. My 17 year old daughter and her 17yo friend gf went and were quoted 27 and 25 dollars, then the owner intimidated them and did what he wanted and it ended up being 45 and 40 dollars, and extremely poor quality on top of that. Read Less

Came in here about FIVE months! The place had plenty of brand new spa chairs. Unfortunately, I can't remember his names but she is very helpful! She gave me an awesome designed and shape. My feet look very crisp. I will definitely come back anytime I need my nails did! Ten scores for her! Read Less

Great place, they are super clean. Liners in pedicure tubs. New sterilized clipper and individual packets for files. Absolutely amazing . Some of the new nail techs are better than others but the owners are very kind. The best way for good service is to tip well wherever you go. Read Less

I’ve been going to Famous Nails for 3 years since I moved here from New York. Friendly staff, clean salon, and great prices. My pedicure lasts for a month with no chips. Great local discounts via the VIP club. I never have an appointment but have rarely waited more than a few minutes. I have salons closer to my home but choose this one. Read Less

My daughter and I have been going there for over a year now. We are both very happy with the staff and services. I have never had a rude person and I have always been satisfied with my nails. I have been a few times and it was good (even after waiting 45 min once because they never mentioned it would be a long wait-but hey I'm a patient person). After this time I doubt I will be returning. I recommended my mother go here while she was in town. When walking in, we said that she just wanted her toe nails painted. They were being really pushy and rude for her to get a pedicure, even though she told him numerous times no. He then asked her why not. She explained... that she has diabetes and didn't want someone doing anything with her feet except painting her toes. He then told her that it wasn't an excuse to not pay the 12$ more to get a pedicure. She still declined and he rushed to paint them and get her out of his chair. While I waited, I overheard the two ladies working giving two girls pedicures, trying to push them into getting their nails done too when they told them numerous times no. I understand you are running a business, and they are also salespeople to make more money-but at that point you are making the customer feel uncomfortable when they are trying to enjoy themselves for only a short period of time. I have been coming here for the past couple months with the VIP card they hand out, but there are too many places in Myrtle to get your nails done and be treated nicely during it.
