I just got the worst gel manicure I have ever had there today. Nails are cut and filed crooked and the polish job is just awful. To start with he kept forgetting to turn on the blue light so they didn't harden. He removed the polish like 4 times and redid them. Then to boot didn't even give a shiny coat on top. They look just awful. This will be my last trip to Classic Nail. And oh yea, speak English when in the presence of your customers. Can you say RUDE? Read Less

To start off with I was not impressed with the atmosphere of this place or the gel color choices. Was even less impressed with the quality of their gel nails. After only 7-10 days my nails started to chip and break off. Also the gel polish started to fade and lose its shine after less than a week. Needless to say I WILL NEVER be going back here. Read Less

Excellent 5 star service. Scotty & Vi always answer the phone promptly & make appointments on the spot. They take walkins for manicures & pedicures. They offer waxing services as well. Clean facility & use plastic covers & sanitize equipment after each person. They have new massage chairs that are very comfortable & can watch TV while relaxing. Offer all nail services, full sets, gel nail polish & regular polish, including paint in acrylic so no more painting nails. Parking is plentiful & located in Food Lion shopping center. It's been a month since I moved into The Lively. This nail salon along with other great businesses are just walking/longboarding distance from my apartment, I absolutely love it. The staff is so friendly and take their time providing what you need. I got a gel mani-pedi from Annie and she gave the best foot and hand massage. She is very talented and made my nails look great. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! Ok so tbh I'm somewhat of a picky princess when it comes to my nails. There really do make a statement and that statement can be good or bad. I moved to MB just about two years ago. I literally asked around and tried probably 20-30 salons between NMB and Murrell's Inlet. I mean seriously I was searching. So randomly I stumbled upon Classic Nails and Scotty. I have brought everyone I care about here and not once has someone been disappointed. The prices are great and the techs are all well trained and polite. I come here and they take the time to inquire about myself and my loved ones and so on. It's just the best place in town!! I work in restaurants so I had so much lifting and other nail issues for years. Not with Classic Nails! They have quality products and know how to use them. Couldn't speak more highly. Scotty, the mgr, first did my nails w/gel builder. He applied it so thickly that I had excruciating pain under the light; he didn't care. Never again! Tried another tech before giving up on this salon, which is convenient. I liked the female tech I tried as a person; she wanted to please, but she kept making my fill-ins so thick at the cuticle that it made it look like I had a nail stuck on top of my nail - very artificial looking. But the main reason i will never go here again is I always made an appt. but I always had to wait at least 20 min., and I have a very busy schedule. After this happened several times, I quietly mentioned it to Scotty. Afterall, he was putting walk-ins who wanted eyebrows done, etc. ahead of me with my tech and he was the one doing the scheduling, not the tech. He started speaking to me in a VERY LOUD VOICE so everyone in the salon could hear! I have never been so embarrassed by a vendor I was paying my $$$ to. Horrible. Read Less

I really love this place, the technicians are great and do beautiful work. It has been hard for me to find a decent salon around here but I have found one! I not only get my nails done here but also my eyebrows. I have had issues in the past with places taking too much off, but she understood I was trying to grow them out and cleaned everything up accordingly. Highly recommended. Read Less

Not very happy with my pedicure,  technician was very nice but that's where the good stopped...there was no leg or foot massage, basically just had lotion rubbed in. My polish is streaky and smudged looking,  even after asking to have it fixed. Will probably not be back. Read Less

I use to like this place, it is nice the workers are very polite. But the reason I have stopped going as of April 2,2014 7:49pm, is because of the owner, at least I think he is the owner. His name Scotty, he's a short rude little man who thinks he's cute. First time he has done my nails and they are bulky, ugly and he was rushing, but that's not the problem. After he painted my nails one got messed up I showed him he's going to tell me can you sit still damn. Im a grown woman don't talk to me like that first. Second I paid and tipped him. Third when do you speak to you customers like that?? I will not be coming back there. Tried to keep the money in my neighborhood but i'll go else where. I didn't cause a scene but I will write reviews and tell my family and friends. Read Less
