Me and my daughter are here for the weekend and the rain messed up our beach weekend but spending the afternoon getting manis and pedis at Vogue has made it all better. So happy to find this nail salon-in my neighborhood too!  Hung does excellent SNS and pedi-he's quite, but funny!  Anne is awesome on pedi! She's so outgoing and friendly!  ALL of the staff are friendly and eager to help. Salon is nicely decorated. Prices are fair. I wasn't a regular mani/pedi girl until I experienced Vogue. We had a wonderful experience at the salon! On Tuesday, we went in to have manicures and pedicures for my sisters wedding on Saturday. They were absolutely perfect! We all had gel French manicures and didn't need any touches up (they would have if we had needed them!) and still looking great a week later.   The salon is beautiful and clean. This is my favorite nail salon in Mount Pleasant. I've lived here for 10 years and I finally found a place I love. The staff is so friendly and hard working. They always remember me and give me VIP service.   I tried the SNS, powder nails, 6 months ago and they are so much better than acrylic or gel nails. They rarely chip or break. But if they do the staff is happy to repair. The same is true for pedicures.               I look forward to a relaxing appointment and they always make time for me if I drop in without one. My fiance loves this place and so do her friends. She goes here once a week to get her nails done and comes back all happy. I figure she has this and I have golf! Ashley constantly is talking about the lavender pedicure and is trying to get me to come get one with her as well. Her mom had a pedicure here when she came to town and raved about how long they massaged her legs and feet - so it must be really good. We are getting married this month so maybe I will have to try it out. The people there are so friendly every time I walk in to see what shes up to or see how much longer she will be. DO NOT GO!  They rush everything! I AM in the beauty industry, have been getting my nails done for many many years... my husband and I wandered in to have pedis and I was going to have a gel manicure. When I say I have never been more displeased with any nail salon as I am with them right now... my husband and I asked for hot stone pedi - his was decent and at first they seemed very kind and accommodating. However when they finally started my pedi they spoke Viet the whole time next to each other( which is extremely rude)never communicating at all with me literally at all- so I got the most generic pedi they offer- I thought ok whatever... I usually add a overlay on my big toes because they don't grow as long, so I was waiting for him to do that.. they started on my gel manicure.. they ended up only doing a polish change and when I inquired about not doing my cuticles- that's when I realized they had no intentions of doing a manicure( all while taking other guests- they rushed me out... because they closed) I left with no manicure, big toes UNPOLISHED and paid over $110!! They do not care about anyone when they are about to close!- I was there over 2.5 hours and they could have finished me way before closing.. instead they took other clients and waited to polish change me at closing time. This was the worst nail experience I've ever had. I walked in wanting to get a full set done- something pretty straight forward at any nail salon. I paid upfront for the manicure and left a large tip before the man started on my nails. He applied the acrylic unevenly and cut my nails to very different lengths. They were so obviously uneven, he had to cut them back to the point where they were shorter than my natural nails. In the process he cut open three of my cuticles from being too rough. He painted them and the polish was applied in uneven coats and pushed up all over my cuticles. I told him I was unhappy with my manicure and all he did was clean up the polish around the edges. The man doing my nails left to do another pedicure so I went over to another woman who was cutting her own toe nails at the table- ew!! And told her I was unhappy with my manicure and explained why. She was extremely rude and denied that there was anything wrong with my nails. After asking her again, she made a big deal about being bothered and refused to redo the manicure. Finally I got up and found the polish and started repainting my own nails because the polish was so uneven and a third person came up and asked me what I was doing. I told them AGAIN that I was very unhappy with my manicure and asked if I could come back tomorrow to get it redone. At this point, the acrylic was even starting to lift up from the nail as it had clearly not been applied properly. He said no as well. Not only do I feel taken advantage of because this salon clearly doesn't care about customer satisfaction, I will never EVER subject myself to that horrible of customer service, not to mention nail service again. I'm really sad to leave such a bad review, because I was a frequent customer at Vogue. This nail salon has become a hit or miss place depending on who is working the day you come in. I am leaving two stars because my pedicure was great. My manicure on the other hand, after I left the salon 6 of my 10 cuticles were bleeding & a cut underneath my thumb is still throbbing- I complained & the answer I got was "new filling equipment". I will never be returning & I will reccomend to anyone to look elsewhere & run from this place. The staff is amazing here!!!!! I had just had an one of the longest work weeks of my life and Ann took such good care of me! She made my feet look amazing and gave me a great foot massage. This is a very nice nail salon! Very impressed with their customer service and how quickly we were attended to. It wasn't crowded and I didn't have an appointment. Ty, the owner, is the sweetest and he did my nails perfect. I tried the SNS nails and so far, I love them. SNS is supposed to be better than gel and acrylic, is good for applying to natural nails and last for up to 4 weeks!! There's a multitude of colors for this type as well. If you have kids, this is the best place to take your daughters for mommy/daughter day out. There are spa chairs specially made for the little ones. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Not impressed. I told them not to cut my nails too short, they cut them OFF! Pricey for a service that gives a short, sad massage and doesn't even check for ingrown toenails. Not happy and won't be going back. Not sure how they had 5 stars.....also they don't tell you to add tip before they run the credit card so be prepared with cash or they offer to run your card again to tip them.....like I said, unimpressed.
