Would not recommend. This place is dirty and the "pedicure" I received from a teenage boy was basically just a polish change. He shaped maybe two nails... Did not touch my cuticles and started to paint over dirty nails. I had to ask him to clean them. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I checked out this place having seen some decent reviews on google and having just got off a plane. However I was not impressed whatsoever. The lady had me sit in the chair and put my feet in the cool  water. First red flag.  Not warm whatsoever. I then asked if the instruments were sterile as i did not see her unwrap them from a sanitary bag. She said they were sterile even tho there were fingerprints on them - who is to say if they were - I dont know. She then cut my toenails too short, right up to the skin, after I had told her I liked mine a bit longer since they hurt if cut too short. Second red flag. I was then nicked with the cuticle cutter. I also have never received a worse massage than this one. Side note I am a therapist and am well educated in human anatomy. I was given a massage ON TOP of my fibula (shin bone). I dont know about everyone else, but I do not enjoy massages directly on top of my bones where there isnt muscle. She did the sameOn the TOP of my foot and barely anywhere else. I had to ask her to stop both times and told her that massaging the top of my shin and foot hurts and that is not where the major muscles are. I also had to ask her to stop exfoliating both of my feet as she kept exfoliating my instep where most people do not weight bear and where the skin is more sensitive. I couldn't wait to get out. After all of that she then asked how I wanted to pay for her tip. I was floored. And ended up giving zero due to the fact that I still had to pay full price. I visited Pleasant to see my best friend and she booked us the mani-pedi at Sandals Nail Spa . Sandals Nail Spa has the best beauty day deal I have ever come across! I was immediately welcoming me. They had a huge selection of colors, and my polish always last a really long time. Great service and the girls knew what they are doing (never hurt anyone! ). They give the best manicures and pedicures in the area. I would visit as often as I could. 100 points for health!Read Less

I have been coming Sandals Nail Spa in Mt Pleasant for at least 3 years. I had a great moment here. I recommend calling ahead for an appointment. The woman who did my pedicure was extremely friendly. They used good products and had well qualified techniques. They make sure that the salon is clean and sanitizied, not just its look. I swear I will come back. Keep promoting !Read Less

The service and pedicure itself were just fine, but I got infections and ingrown toenails from my pedicure! Clearly they don't know how to cut nails correctly. I do not like to leave bad reviews but I don't want this happening to anyone else. Star Rating 3.5I walked in to Sandals needing just a basic manicure. They were already busy with a few guests, but managed to start on my nails immediately. One by one, more people shuffled in for their own manicures and pedicures. Knowing I would be asked about wanting to add a pedicure, I was bound and determined to decline ... but I am weak. And my toes were crying for some attention. And it wasn't terribly expensive. And I had time to spare. So, I said yes and my feet have looked fabulous ever since. Sandals doesn't really offer anything above-and-beyond your typical nail salon, hence the 3.5 star rating. I made it 24 hours before a nail chipped (actually broke) but that has become an expectation with a regular (not gel) manicure, for me. I've had hand and foot massages that lasted longer and were more enjoyable than what was provided this time around. (What I wouldn't give to find a salon in CHS that provides complementary neck and shoulder massages with their manicures! NYC salons have spoiled me.)There were a few customers that walked in, calling out to the staff by name and asking questions that led me to believe they were definitely regulars to the salon. A good sign of a quality place to know people keep coming back. Would I go back? Sure. But I will continue to try other places, searching for a spot that can become a favorite in the meantime. If we are counting my manicure solely, this place was fine-nothing spectacular nor dismal. The staff however were incredibly rude talking my aunt and cousin into things they didn't want and being downright mean when asking my cousin if she was paying or my aunt. Kind of humiliating for the girl, really. I'd pass as there are a multitude of other places to go. If you're looking for clean and in a hurry though, go for it. Read Less

I love the team at Sandals. Everyone is very friendly and remembers you when you come back. It's a small salon and there is usually a good crowd inside but I never feel I have to wait very long. They have a ton of gel colors, more than I've seen at nearby salons. I highly recommend sandals for your next gel manicure. Read Less
