Okay, so, here's the scoop guys. I've been at this place for an hour and a half with my feet chillin in some luke warm water. My chair doesn't massage aaaaand some of the pedicure booths have flashing lights in the water tank, but mine doesn't. I've been a happy client of Nail Bar for the past six months. I cannot say enough about the quality of care and attentiveness as well as professionalism and skill exhibited by everyone here. I have been going to the nail bar since the new owners bought the place since then I have had nothing but great experiences. They are a small family owned business and truly made me feel apart of the family each time I’ve been. I usually see Leo for my nails his dad for me feet and the mom for my eyebrows or their close family friend but everyone I have came in contact with all have been super friendly and educated about the health my nails. Today I had Lynn who is a new member of the team do my 2 week visit with sns for my nails and they look FLAWLESS. I could not ask for better looking and feeling nails. She did a perfect job. I was super nervous because I don’t like trying new people but I definitely was over joyed by the results!!! If you are looking for a great place to get your nails toes or even eye brows nail bar is the place to go and see any of the employees there. First time to this salon. I’ve had a few pedicures and gel manicures done at different salons in Mt P and this one gave me the best service I’ve ever had in a salon thus far. Great pedicure..exfoliation, a mini leg and foot massage..so wonderful. Sandals at Towne center didn’t do massages with their pedicures..and the girl that did my gel manicure did designs for me for Halloween and she did a great job. This place is amazing! Such nice people who work here. They make you feel extremely welcome and they do a great job on pedicures! My husband and I had "welcome to the bar" pedicures on our anniversary beach trip. We were extremely pleased with the pedicures and the salon. It was clean, used extra sanitary practices, and the people were friendly. The complimentary drinks (mimosa and bottled water for us) were an added bonus. I am so happy that this place is now under NEW management because they are the BEST. My mom and I drive from West Ashley to Mount Pleasant just to get our nails done at this location - and we are never disappointed. Visited the Nail Bar this weekend. No, they don't offer complimentary drinks. I thought it was pretty cheap compared to other places I've been to. The total for a full set and pedicure was $50 plus tip. I think this would be a good place to get SIMPLE nails done. Nothing creative or modern. The man who did my nails wasn't overly nice or rude. Just did his job which I have no issue with. However, I do wish my nails had turned out like the pic I showed him but he did not have a large selection of colors. I think he did his best to try and recreate it. Oh. And pictures of the nail salon are old. It doesn't look like that inside. Read Less

I went to The Nail Bar the day before my wedding 10-4-16 to get my nails done with gel. This was my first experience with gel. The pedicure went mostly well. One of my toenails was cut very short and is painful. The discomfort from the short nail didn't help on my wedding day while I was standing all day in heals. While I was getting my manicure and pedicure I was asked no less than three times to donate money for the nail workers Boy Scout group. Despite the fact that I said I didn't have an extra $60. then they just asked for the money in different smaller increments. There's nothing relaxing about that. At one point a coment was made" you can't help out even a little". less than 24 hours later my right hand pointer finger gel came completely off! yes in the middle of my wedding. It has now been one week since my visit and all of my nails are peeling up. it looks horrible. I would never ever go back there. I did call to let them know that it was a terrible job and they said that they would fix it for me. I wouldn't go back in there for any reason. Read Less

Pros: Nice place. Massage chairs. Offers of free beverages. Cons: get there at least 2hrs before they close if you have to come late, otherwise they rush, and do a poor job. I asked for a full set, came in as soon as I got off work (got there around 5:30) there was only two men there working on two ladies so I had to wait. They started on me about 6. The guy that had me was really rough. Filed my nails very harshly, didn't clip cuticles, assumed I wanted square tips, and when I asked for round, he just looked at me then proceeded to file my nails into this terrible shape. He said they looked so nice and natural, but I'm pretty sure I didn't walk in there with crooked nails.... Two of my nails ended up crooked (along with the polish job, which I asked for American instead of French) I came home so upset and embarrassed to show them to my fiancé who knew I was excited to go get them done because I'm getting my bridal portrait done soon. I came for a gel manicure in March and thought it would be a nice treat during my pregnancy. That night I went in to labor and by the next day my nails had discolored. About a week later I called to complain. The person I spoke to said I could come in, I explained that I just had a baby and would not be able to get back right away. When I did go back, three weeks later, I explained the situation again and one of the women working there began to remove my polish. Then, another woman took over, I don't know why. I explained to her as well the situation and why it had been so long for me to come back and get my nails redone. She even marked the ticket as REPAIR. When she was done I asked her if I could run my card for just a tip and she ran it for the full cost if the manicure. I said it was a redo and she argued with me for a good five minutes saying it was under new ownership so I had to pay (even though the new owner bought the old polish). I will not go back and it ruined my day. The nail tech was rude and stubborn and has lost out on future sales because she dug in her heels even though she could clearly see my nails went from purple to yellow. Read Less
