Not only do they provide top-notch service, they are so warm and friendly-and Jeremy was so incredibly flexible and accommodating with my appointment...I was running late after a total toddler catastrophe and I felt terrible...he was so nice over the phone but I called back again with my even later eta-100% prepared to have to forfeit my appointment...but he remained so warm and kind & we made a slight adjustment to my service to still make it work! Great place, really beautiful space. It's modern with gray and pink colored theme. The staff was friendly and welcoming and did a great job with the blow out for my friend and me. I went to Blo for the first time last week.  I loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked thru the door.  The staff was friendly and as a walk-in, I was quickly escorted to meet my stylist.  We sat for a few minutes and discussed what I wanted and I chose from the menu.  The shampoo and condition was great and my stylist used various products on my hair to make sure I had a flawless look.  In the end, I walked out loving my look.  I chose a clean wave look because I wanted something different from my normal straight look.  The only thing was that my hair didn't hold the wave for long after I left.  I had my hair done around 2pm and by dinner with friends at 6:30, the big waves were almost gone :-(  I still loved the experience and will definitely go back!  I gave away the 3 referral cards to my friends and am hoping they follow my recommendation and go check it out.  In addition, my daughter is getting married in March so this will probably be a good solution for her and the bridal party to get their hair done! If you're looking for a place to go for a perfect blow out in Charleston, this is the spot. My fiancé and I were visiting for the weekend from Greenville, NC (where there sadly is no Blo) and once I saw there was a Blo in town, I figured a good way to treat myself would be with a blow out. For $40, you get a full wash and your hair blown out to a particular style of your choice (you get to pick your look from a menu/book). This is the perfect set up for a bachelorette party, friends birthday, bridesmaids, etc. The space has 10 chairs and the owner, Jeremy, is a pleasure to talk to and seems very accommodating. I love supporting new businesses in the area and think this business is a home run. Great job. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Charleston! Read Less

I've been here twice for blow outs and went for my second updo for an event Saturday. As always a wonderful experience. A delicious glass of rose' and a welcoming environment as usual! I had my second appointment at Blo this morning and was absolutely delighted with the result! My first appointment was an updo, which Sterling knocked out in just 30 minutes! It was flawless and I was getting compliments on it all day long. Today I had a blow out with tousled curls and Sterling worked her magic yet again. I'm so happy I stumbled upon Blo, they make it so easy to get your dream hairstyle. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, from the stylists to the receptionist and it is very clean inside. I was blown away and now a believer! I was skeptical that my thick naturally curly hair could be tamed. The stylist didn't know it but she was in for a workout and maybe some arm cramping. I walked into Blo a penny but left feeling like a MILLION!! The staff and experience was amazing! Blo is conveniently located near Whole Foods in Mount Pleasant and is fairly priced... but after all, you can't put a price tag on feeling beautiful and confident!! I would highly recommend Blo. Too bad there are no other blow dry salons in Mount Pleasant. I would recommend driving the distance to go downtown as my experience here was horrific. A total five star experience ...I noted a mention in the Business section of the Post and Courier two weeks ago that Wax in the City and Blo Blow Dry Bar was scheduled to open on Houston Northcutt (a few door down from Whole Foods Market) ... and that during the Grand Opening Week would be offering $25 Blow-outs (regularly $40) on their signature styles.  I checked out their Facebook and web pages, Yelp reviews in other cities and decided to check them out.  The business model is simple ... wash and Blowdry among seven signature styles ... no color, no cut.  This worked for me!  While walk-ins would be welcome, I wanted to assure an appointment during this fabulous promotion and was pleased that I could make an appointment online.  Within two minutes, I received a text confirmation and I was good to go.  I was warmly greeted at check-in, offered water and had an opportunity to chat with Jeremy, the owner of both businesses.  I couldn't help but notice that every inch of space is well used  ... filled with many stations ... and an ample number of wash basins.  Kristie, my kick-butt, stylist (and manager) was ready for me at the appointed time.  We discussed the style (simple bob) and my hair type ... thick, coarse, dry ... and my regime ... which I sheepishly admitted total reliance on frizz control products and dependency (or rather, at the mercy and availability) on two stylists, who knew how to work with my hair.  She explained the products she would be using from Unite ... all good ... and we proceeded back to the wash basin.  The chair was oh, so comfortable and I relaxed through two marvelous shampoos and  a conditioning that had a fragrance reminiscent of Life Savers Butter Rum.  We headed back to Kristie's station (yes, this chair was comfortable, too) and Kristie worked her magic.  Throughout the blow-out, our conversation was lively and comfortable ... as if I had known her for years. (BTW, she has 20 years experience working with hair.) The time seemed to fly by and in 40 minutes, I was walking out the door.  My hair not only looked fabulous but felt fabulous, too.  A full line of Unite hair care products are available for purchase but I did not need anything today.  I understand that styles with extensions are also available with a different price structure.I love Blo Blow Dry Bar ...
