There were 4 of us girls who wanted mani pedis last minute. We called angel nails and they told us to come right in hour before closing. Everyone there was super friendly and the place was impeccably clean! They offered us all complimentary wine as we were pampered! While some of us waited for others to finish they gave us amazing hand massages. They stayed open an hour past closing and didn't make us feel rushed at all! Today, I had the pleasure of being serviced at this amazing nail salon. I was in torn for a cruise leaving out of Charleston, and after dinner one of my nails broke. This morning I was in search of a salon to repair or give me a fill in and I stumbled across Angel Nails. As soon as I walked in and showed Jan my nails, she knew instantly that I needed a fill in and my original salon did not use the correct powder. Was a little nervous because of the mixed reviews, but decided to give them a try.  Unfortunately, I should of listened to my instincts.  Manicure was extremely rushed, they only applied one coat and hardly cleaned my cuticles, needless to say, not even two days later and my nails have chipped.  One person was doing my manicure as another was finishing my pedicure and they spoke to each other the entire time, making it hard to relax.   As I was checking out handing my tip over, the one called out to the other person, felt like they were saying how much I gave.  Made me feel a little uncomfortable, along with mediocre service means I would probably never go back. A few weeks ago, I visited this salon for the first time.I recently relocated to the area, and was in need of a nail tech. So, I logged on Yelp and began reading reviews. My first choice was Lingh salon. His yelp reviews are awesome! But unfortunately, he was booked for the day.  So, I ended up at Angel Nails. Lee did a good job with my manicure. However, my pedicure was mediocre, at best. The young lady rushed through my pedicure. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. She was the youngest female working that day.  My pedicure experience was NOT good. It was the quickest pedicure I've ever received. I could barely relax because she was moving so fast. She barely rubbed the bottom of feet.  I tried to tell her to scrub a certain area again, but she didn't understand me. She clearly didn't understand nor speak any English...... at all! The following morning, I noticed dry skin on the bottom and heels of my feet. Normally, I would go back to the salon for a "do-over". However, I was catching a flight later that day and I didn't have time to stop by the nail salon.She definitely did a poor job. If you are in need of a good pedicure, let someone else do it. IN LOVE! Just relocated to Mt. P and just came in as a walk in. I did not realize they closed at six but they still took me even thought it was 5:30. AMAZING service! I scuffed my nails and they fixed it without even hesitating. Everyone had a great attitude and was very friendly. There was a very rude customer getting snippy with the owner. She handled the situation very professionally. Given how awful the customer was treating her I was very impressed with her composure. As for my nails, great job and great price. It was good a few times andnot others but mainly "Jen" - the owner - is so rude that you feel uncomfortable as if they were annoyed for having to work. It is really non professional they keep gossiping in their language at all times, really disgusting. One of the older ladies did my pedicure and she really took her time, was very meticulous, did a wonderful job even after 3 people walked in after me, she took her time. I just moved here from Manhattan and was looking for a place to get the SNS powder manicure. I'm very picky about my manicures because if they're not done right with the powder, the nails can look very bulky. They did a perfect job, and were very attentive to detail. Highly recommend! Read Less

I've been getting my nails done for 10 years around the country. This place is in my top 3. Jan is amazing and ALWAYS makes sure I am happy with how my nails have turned out no matter what. She also convinced me to try fake eyelashes for my wedding which turned out to be absolutely amazing. She is an artist when it comes to eyebrow waxing. Just left from getting a gel manicure and a pedicure. I will be going back every two weeks. I normally hate pedicures and I have to force myself to go. Loved it! The staff was friendly and outgoing. Today I got SNS done by Jan. My nails look INCREDIBLE. I have had horrible experiences since moving here just getting a simple SNS manicure before today. Other places had left me feeling discouraged with uneven filing, too thick of polish or questionable sanitation. My shape and polish are perfect. My hands look better then ever. I moved to MP from Arizona and have been searching for regular nail salon for a year now. I took a chance on Angel Nails and am so glad I did! Jan does amazing work on my nails- great gel color options and it lasts so long! She took her time on my nails and the manicure is one of the best I have had. Just moved here and decided today I'd go out and find my new nail salon. I always get an acrylic set with gel polish. Decided to go with regular polish today for times sake. While I was getting them done the tech was telling me about how high other* salons in the area were.. I hadn't even asked for pricing. She stopped the service at one point to do another clients eye brows. It was also hot in there. Today's high is 73 and there was no air running. However, she was very friendly... Nails were dry and after waiting w my card out for a while I finally asked if I could pay. $45. That's all I have to say. It may very well be that this area is just higher on pricing, but boy am I glad I didn't get my usual gel polish  She mentioned that most people get regular manicures in Charleston. No wonder! I will be going back to this salon the next time I get my nails done. They are reasonably priced ($30 for gel manicure) and got my nails done quickly during my lunch break. I got them done two weeks ago and they look like I had them done today, minus my natural nail growth. They are clean, professional and very friendly. I flew into Charleston and desperately needed a touch up on my nails. My boyfriend and I had several hours before our beach house was available in Isle of Palms so I decided to get my nails done before we went to the grocery store. Angel Nails took me as a walk-in. I told them I only needed a touch up and polish change. They seated me quickly and put the owner of the salon in charge of my nails! She was very quick and did excellent gel nails so I wouldn't need to worry about my polish cracking and breaking. These were my first gel nails and I love them! I've been a regular client of a well known, highly reviewed Nail Salon off of Coleman and was looking for a change.I came the first time for a Gel Manicure and if I hadn't of snapped my nail (landscaping...) then my manicure would have easily lasted another week or two. The manicurist I usually go to was out of town, so I decided to give this place a try because I live near by. I walked in and was taken for a manicure right away. They do have new management and owners, so they are currently doing some remodeling and updating to the inside. The salon is very clean and they used brand new files and buffers on me. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! One of the BEST nail tip/manicure of my life.   I just moved from NYC about a month ago and have been holding out on getting my nails done. Having high expectations from the salon I went to in Manhattan I was nervous going to somewhere new. Love the interior decor and cleanliness of the salon right off the bat.   Have lots of Pedicure seats and 2 butterfly pedicure seats for young girls. SO CUTE! (pictured) 2.
