They took advantage of my daughter because she came alone she's 18 years old she came to have her nails done for the prom we had an appointment set in advance. And I understand they are busy but due to that and her being alone they took advantage of the situation and they did not treat her right, her nails were very poorly done they were not what she requested and then she was told they don't even offered Jewels at this place yet her friend got jewels on her fingers the same day. When I came in the next day to try to get them to correct the problem with my daughter all I wanted was them to be redone they refuse to do that and then told me I needed to leave the store. Very very poor customer service I am not happy after paying so much for acrylic nails to be treated this way. My best friend and I have visited this location a few times prior to this visit. Today, was rather subpar. We paid 50$ for the signature predicate and gel polish, expecting a relaxing hour of pampering. Instead we felt extremely rushed. The pedicure seemed to have lasted about 30 minutes. We didn’t receive an in-depth leg massage like we are accustomed too. Nothing stood out during this pedicure to make it seem like a signature package. I have been to MANY nail salons in many different states in my lifetime and this place is by far the best yet! Michelle helped accommodate a last minute request with amazing customer service!Maisey did my manicure and pedicure and did a fantastic job! I absolutely love this place. Only place I will trust to do my eyebrows for sure. They always recognize me even tho I don't go as much as other clients probably do and always so nice. First time going with my sister, asked one of the workers if they had ombré color, they showed us the wall with the ombré color, got to the nail techs table. And turns out it was mood color, she messed up my shape, and turned it into square round when it was supposed to be square. Don’t like the color, called and spoke to the manager day after, and told her the problem, very rude to me and had the audacity to tell me, that I (the customer) don’t know the difference between ombré and mood color change. I had a "not so favorable" experience here about 2 years ago. After my visit today I truly believe it was that particular person. Today, I used a gift card I had from Christmas. I come to Blush all the time and I really appreciate them for helping me get my natural nails long and strong since they kept breaking. I was recommended to get SNS on my nails, and I've probably got it about 4 times now in the past 3-4 months and it has worked wonders. I got my nails done today and the service was amazing. Today was the third time I have came. 1st with my daughter for Mani and pedi, yes we got here around 5:30 but they did not close til 7pm we were rushed through the process so quickly there was no time to enjoy the non existent pampering. So I chalk it up to maybe we came to late, so I say ok I'll go again same thing rush me through my service of a gel manicure, they did not soak my hand or clean under my nails, so basically I was charged for a gel manicure and only got a col…or change.so be the optimistic that I am I decided to give them another shot today, so I go in for a gel manicure and waxing, started off good, when it was time to soak my hand the tech brings up a bowl of cold water, never have I had my hands soaked in cold water. Then when it came time to polish my nails I told her I wanted tips after my nails were done the tips are a third of the way down my nail. Then on to the waxing. Me and a friend decided to come in yesterday about 230 pm it was busy my normal nail tech wasn't available unfortunately, Lisa is amazing. I feel like my nails look horrible some look like they are not done all the way as far as acrylic and they look very uneven. Nice and well decorated salon. There were a lot of technicians working, I didn't have to wait. I was seated right away and that was nice great! (It was a Friday afternoon) The tech did a good job on my nails, she was quick and efficient. I would definitely go back. I will not be returning here. I went in yesterday for a Gel manicure/polish change. The nail tech I had was clearly rushing and didn't let my nails soak long enough - resulting in her scraping and filing my nails down to get the old polish off. She filed so hard on one of my nails that it brought tears to my eyes. When filing the sides of the same nail, she cut both sides of the surrounding skin. Today, my nails are bruised, filed so thin, and really sore to the touch. I ended up not getting a manicure once she removed the polish. Even she did not want to buff the nail that she had filed so hard. When I got home my fingernails were hurting so bad I had to take pain medicine. I am faithful to them because they are awesome. The owner is organized and a true people person. She runs a great shop with lots of nail techs on duty all the time. If you are a walk in, which I frequently do because I'm a last minute person, they are either ready very quickly or will tell you how long the wait will be and sometimes even allow you to come back in an hour or so and your spot in line is reserved. They do a great job on my nails. I have really soft nails and the manager will remind techs when I come in to do certain things to help. A couple times I've had less than perfect results and they make it good. One time , the manager redid them herself and didn't charge me a dime. They also offer you a glass of wine or water to help you relax while you get your nails done. Oh, and did I mention, they do an awesome foot rub. Will not be returning. Nail tech very rushed. She acted offended when I asked where they kept the sterilization equipment. My acrylics were as thick as a nickle. By time she finished, I just wanted to leave rather than deal with some excuse for poor service.  The atmosphere was very modern and fun. I just moved here less than a month ago from DC. I went to LaVie nails&spa in Columbia for my first SC nail experience. They were HORRIBLE, they left water between my nail and the acrylic for a fill. I got a regular fill and gel polish and paid 40$ and the nails broke less than 12 hours. Horrible customer service.  **So I did more research and found BLUSH!!!! My saving grace! I called and spoke with Michelle, I told her my horror story. She was absolutely wonderful and caring. I got in quickly for an appointment, a new fresh full set, pedi and eyebrow wax. Lisa was my technician she was so sweet and precise! She kept checking to make sure she was doing everything the way I wished. By far the best experience since I've moved here. My sister and I really wanted to try this place out because we heard good things. We came around noon on a Friday and they wouldn't give me a specific wait time. (bad sign haha) but we chose to wait because it was my sister's bday. So heads up, make an appointment. I got pushed back at least 4 times because of appointments. It is super busy in this place and the advice given to me is go on M-Thurs or make an appointment. Service was still nice, beverages were offered (mamosa, oj, wine, etc) My sister got the pedi... she said signature is NOT worth it because they only do all the special lotions/scrubs for a few seconds each. She also got a nail tech that was not into doing her nails. She was rushed and did a sloppy job. I don't know her name... I was just waiting on someone to do a full nail set. I got a very patient and kind person named Kelly. She did a great job and did exactly as I asked her. You can tell she's done this a lot as her attention to detail was spot on. So I guess I was lucky in getting who I got. Went there for first time.  Based on other reviews, I made an appointment well in advance.  I had been going to another salon down the road but had a horrible experience and knew it was time to move one.  The experiences were night and day.  Blush was extremely busy with a waiting line but I was greeted immediately.  I did have a short wait which worked for me since I had to run an errand across the street.  They were very careful of my damaged nails (had nails that had been ripped and glued together at the other salon).  The nail technicians were friendly to each other and to the customers.  I did ask the best times to show up and will be returning.  Signature pedi is worth the additional $10. I recently moved to Lexington and have been searching far a great nail salon. I stumbled across Blush on Google. I was really impressed when I walked in...granted it was a Saturday and a holiday weekend and super busy, I decided to wait...an hour...My overall service was great, both my mani and pedi were done perfectly. My only issue was the way they clean the pedi tubs, they quickly sprayed some sort of disinfectant and used the same towel as the person's feet were on who just got up. I absolutely loved this nail salon. Both my mani & pedi were done by a pleasant young woman who held great conversation. My nails were done with patience and professionalism. She did a great job in making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The environment was very clean and professional. Complimentary drinks, massage chairs, tv, etc. All employees that were working greeted me at some point during my visit, which made me feel very comfortable.
