Worst nail experience ever. I will never go back. I paid for mani, pedi and acrylics for my daughter and I. The pedi was below average but not terrible. The water was cold and she didn't rinse all of the salt scrub off of my legs. But that was tolerable compared to the debacle that took place for the next hour and a half it took her to do very basic acrylic tips. Average time is usually 30 minutes. She used very course tip on the router file, and burned my whole nail bed. I kept telling her and she just kept saying "so sorry". She gouged my cuticle until it bled. I dont believe she's ever used acrylic gel. It was very uneven, lumpy and bumpy. She kept adding more to over compensate. She had to keep filing to fix the atrocity. She tried to give me a gift certificate, but i will never go back. Not even for free. My nails are way too short (She had to keep filing to straighten them) and way too thick. I wish I could add a picture. It looks like short thick globs on the end of my fingers. The fingers hurt because my real nail was taken down to the nail bed. Wish I never tried that place. The service is good but while getting a pedicure I let them know that my feet are red and purple due to Raynauds and yet the man still had a to make a remark about how my feet look like lobsters!!! No no no no no!!!! I don't know how they do mani or pedi,but they definitely can't do SNS nails!!!waist of time and money ,I have a feeling it was her 1 sns nail experience plus she where distracted from coming or leaving customers ,actually she where's everywhere but not with my nails,she kept forgetting what is she doing,she cut my cuticle on the same nail same place 5 times.,if I will not remind her that she have to seal my nails she will never do thisAwful.....If they can do SNS nail I AM MICHELLE OBAMA....So sorry for this place..... I think I found my nail salon!! :)) I had gel nails done  a while ago and they still look good! No chipping at all! Unlike other place, my gel would peer off on the third day! She must've used quality product and did not cut corners, she used three layers of color and I'm absolutely happy with the result! Definitely going back there! Read Less

I was looking for a new nail salon. This one is quite a bit out of the way for me. The ones closer to my house are just ok. Went in for a pedicure early weekday morning. Was sat in the chair right away. The young lady that did my pedicure was nice. I got the Classic pedicure which is just a regular pedicure. All the usual stuff, she did a fine job. I think my nails look nice. I would recommend and probably return in the future. Read Less

I got acrylics at I color nail bar and I really enjoyed it, the lady who my regular polish acrylics was very friendly. She did an excellent job on my nails the shape was amazing and they held up for a long time, they were strong and well done. Definitely going to comeback Read Less

The icolor nail bar was wonderful! I was greeted immediately by a very nice gentleman who was quick to ask me what I wanted to get done and assign me to a nail tech. My nail tech was awesome! She was so sweet and was very attentive and gentle. I did not feel rushed and was very relaxed the whole time. My nails, which I chose to have a bright summer-y hot pink gel color on, came out beautifully!! The atmosphere in the nail bar was very updated and very clean. I would highly recommend this nail bar! I visited here last Wednesday to get gel polish on my nails. By Monday it was already pulling up around my cuticles. Today I have one finger where the polish is completely gone. I'm not hard on my nails. I have had gel polish before (not from icolor) and it has lasted weeks - not days. I am displeased to say the least. I'm not sure what I paid $30 for but it wasn't this. Very friendly staff and clean establishment. I was very satisfied when I left but then was disappointed a few hours later. 2 hours later my toes were still wet and smudged when I put my flip flops on. I think they could do thinner coats and allow them to dry a bit before applying the other coats. Now 2 weeks later it's chipping and not very vibrant :( I think if they took a few more minutes on the polishing it would last longer and would have happier clients. Read Less

I recently moved to SC. The first time I went to iColor I was very satisfied. I moved to Rock Hill and this salon is 30+ minutes from me and I needed a fill badly, so unfortunately I went to another salon closer to me. After having a terrible experience I will now drive 30+ minutes to get my nails done at iColor! The staff are very friendly and tend to your every need. Read Less

I just moved to the Steele Creek area of Charlotte and have been looking to find a new nail salon for a few weeks now. I have seen the salon before whenever I was picking up sushi from the restaurant "Cherry" next door, so I decided to give it a try today on a whim. I did not call ahead - but I only waited about 25 minutes. Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming, offering refreshments while you waited (wine too!). They had a great nail color selection behind the large nail bar as well. I got a classic pedicure and gel manicure. My technician was Wendy and she was amazing. She was very attentive and my nails have never looked this good. I had recently injured one toe so I made her aware of it and she was gentle and she took her time on it. I have been a regular customer.  As a nice girl day I decided to bring my daughter and aunt to have nails done.   My daughter had a manicure while I was having a pedicure.  After our services my daughter was visibly upset.   She shared with me that the woman doing her nails asked her what she got for Christmas - my daughter told her and  the manicurist said "did your mom and dad give it to you?"   My daughter said "no it was from Santa."   The manicurist proceeded to share with her that there was no such thing as santa - that your mom and dad just wrap the presents and put under the tree."   I almost threw up after hearing this.  Who does that to a child??!!!!   When I went back in to complain to the owner he thanked me for telling him.  Really??!!     I am horrified at this experience.   My daughter is a mess.   How sad. I found this nail salon online. I was greeted warmly and my pedicure was awesome. It didn't hurt at all and was very relaxing. I got a full set of acrylic nails and that was the first time since I've had acrylic nails that it didn't hurt! I was amazed! Its always hurt to get acrylic nails for me. The staff was super friendly. Went out of there way to help and make me feel comfortable. They were sanitary. They had new buffer pads for every customer. I would suggest this nail salon above all others. I live in Gastonia, but this nail salon is well worth the drive for friendly, sanitary conditons. Highly recommend! Read Less

this place is plenty big for large groups! they do a great job with gel/shellac - I get it w/French nails every time. I LOVE that they use a new file and buffer for every customer - I won't go anywhere else! the owner is great too, everyone is very friendly and they don't constantly talk to each other in another language which I find obnoxious when I've heard it at other salons. great place for manicures and pedicures.  AND you get complimentary alcoholic beverages. can't beat it for a great day of pampering! This is my first visit to iColor Nail Bar, and I went with no particular expectations other then hoping it would be better than what I've been putting up with until now.  The moment I walked through the door, a very friendly staff member greeted me warmly and asked what sort of service I wanted. He then directed me to select a color and showed me where I would be sitting.  And adorable older woman took things over from there.I could tell immediately that the place was very clean. First of all, they have autoclave units to sanitize their instruments.  then I noticed they line the footbath with plastic for each customer. They also wrap the foot rest in plastic.  My nail technician did an excellent job of softening my callused feet and removing the yucky, dead skin. She was incredibly gentle at cleaning up my cuticles. She asked permission to cut back on a slightly ingrown toenail. That was a first for me. Normally my answer is no, but this particular toe is always a problem. So I let her do it.  She was very cautious and methodical in her method, and she did not overdo it like most places do.She gave me a nice sugar scrub and then massage lotion on my feet and lower legs.  she did a great job of gently filing my toenails to a perfect shape and length. And she did a great job of painting on this lovely purple color I chose. She didn't put it on too thick or too thin, and she didn't smudge anywhere one bit.  My charge for this pedicure was $28, which is the norm in this area. Definitely worth that and more, if you ask me. Especially when you consider some of our lackluster alternatives nearby.I would definitely recommend you give them a try. I know I will be back in about 10 to 14 days for a fresh pedicure. It looks like I have found my new place for pampering. Maybe I'll even try some of their fancy pedicures next time. Read Less
