I don't even want to leave one star and I don't even know where to start.I have been blonde my entire life. Decided to add a silver and went to this salon on Friday for the service. Sam was my stylist and we had agreed that the silver would be an easy return back to blonde if I didn't like it (would technically wash out). For whatever reason, I walked out (7 hours later) a Burnette. She told me she added dark to the silver "for dimension". She also told me the color would wash out, until she admitted she used permanent color. Actually, she and Amanda told me it wasn't a big deal, the color isn't that dark, I was just in shock, and that the "fashion colors" are very hard to maintain. I felt as if I was being attacked because I was (rightrully) unhappy with the result. Once Sam realized she messed up, she spoke with the owner and they agreed that they should use a high developer to "tone down" the dark color. Sam told me it would burn. She went out to smoke, came back in 10 minutes and I told her it was burning very bad. She advised me to wait a couple more minutes and went back outside. I waited for 7 minutes until I had to ask the receptionist to fetch Sam because my head was burning so bad. Sam then returned 3 minutes later, in no rush, to wash the solution. I could not touch my head for 2 days after this. She then told me I needed to pay for the service, which I declined. She advised me to come in the next day to "fix it" and that I would pay then. I was obviously very upset with my hair but I received no sympathy from anyone there. They acted as if I was overreacting, when truly I sat quietly in shock, Trying not to throw up! I then spoke with the owner, Marlene, the next day. I explained the situation and she wanted me to come in that Friday to fix the issue. I politely declined due to the unfriendly environment of the staff. I asked her for a leave in product to preserve the integrity of my hair. She agreed to have the product by Tuesday. She then sends a text message stating she couldn't go get it. I will also attach a screenshot of that. I wasn't going to leave a review because I know how this could affect her business. But I cannot in good conscious leave this be. I'm thankful I still have hair to color, but it is now a process to fix! Beware!! Just realized I cannot leave a photo. I will add the photos to yelp, Facebook and yellow page reviews. Please go look for reference! Read Less
