The first time I went to get my hair done there I loved it. It was cut how I wanted with full think layers and the color was great. I got exactly what I wanted for my hair and time was taken to make my hair look great, so why the low rating? The second time I went I scheduled an appointment for a cut and color, balayage to be exact, with a blow out and style. Mei was angry because she was overbooked and the only appointment available was 3 on a Friday. I work nights at the ho...spital so making time to be awake during the day is hard for me. She told me the color I wanted would take too long and that she wouldn’t be able to do it in two hours (they close at 7). So she decided to do a different color on my hair which I agreed to because it needed to be colored due to roots showing. I hate the color it wasn’t anywhere close to what I wanted. She literally trimmed my hair straight across which I always make clear I do not want. There were no layers put in my hair like I had asked. She only did a blow out and told me I could style it when I got home. I am glad I didn’t have some place to be afterward because I would have looked ridiculous. I can tell the cut that I had did not take care of the dead ends because of how it hair feels now. She acted like doing my hair was an inconvenience because I have hair that is past the middle of my back. Her husband was wonderful and tried to diffuse her attitude toward me and getting the hair that I wanted and she was rude to him. She kept telling me that he didn’t know anything about hair so he wouldn’t understand and then said that I didn’t understand as well. It is my hair I know what I want and I know what I like. I felt like an inconceivable to her the whole time she was doing my hair she was rude and ruined my day by giving me and awful hair experience. I will not be back and I suggest if you have long beautiful locks that are past your shoulder to find someone else to do your hair because she doesn’t like doing hair that is long it is too much for her. This was my first time to AIZA and I was blown away by my experience. I called to ask about pricing and they made a free consultation appointment for me to meet with my hair stylist to discuss what I was looking for with my hair. I met with my stylist, Mei Yang, and we discussed color and cut. Their prices are competitive and very reasonable. We made an appointment for 2 days later and she executed what I wanted perfectly. Everybody I came in contact with there was so kind, welcoming, and professional. I have had so many compliments on my hair today and I have been so excited to tell them where I had it done at. Two days later and my scalp is still burnt from what Mei put on my hair. I tried to call to see if they would tell me what they used on my hair so I could treat it properly and they haven't gotten back to me COMPLETE UNPROFESSIONAL. I was very nervous about getting a new hair cut. I have naturally curly hair and I just didn't want to end up looking like a poodle. I wanted to get away from the $10 hair cuts and when I read the reviews about Mei and Aiza Hair & Body, I was very impressed. She new before I even sat down in her chair what would like good on me. I am a first time client.  I actually walked in just to schedule an appointment.   Immediately I was greeted by a gentleman outside sprucing up the entrance way, which is beautiful.   Next I walked in to a very open but clean and sleak spa.  There was tranquil music in the background.  Mei immediately greeted me, even though she was with a client.  Next came in the lady who scheduled my appointment,  she was also very nice.  I was able to get an appointment that day.  I came back, again was greeted immediately.   Everyone is extremely nice.  You feel like you are at home, with how welcome everyone makes you feel.I was offered a beverage,  I opted for fruit infused water,  I did see some adult beverages,  but I don't drink and drive so that was out.  You get a very nice heavy glass, not a plastic cup.Mei immediately introduced herself,  she took the time to look at me and my hair.   I showed her what I wanted.  She was very complimentary of my hair, she was impressed of the color, even more when I told her God colored my hair :).  I don't color my hair it is natural.  The hair cut took a while, because her cuts are very precise and detailed oriented.  She cuts your hair to the movement of your head and facial structures.  Her technique is more like a very complicated math equation that is impossible to solve.  It is obvious she loves what she does and is extremely skilled at her artform.  I left feeling like a new lady.  My mom didn't even recognize me.  My hair has found its soulmate. I waited patiently for this spa to open and when it did I finally went in and I was so glad I did!!!  We (both my husband and myself and even my kids!) feel lucky that this beautiful spa was opened barely a mile from our house!  It is gorgeous!  It is such a beautiful beautiful place, the inside and out is just amazing - a lot of hard work went into this local business and I highly suggest making an appointment here for your needs!  Mei is outstanding with hair!  Friendly owners - locals - they know exactly what they are doing and it shows in this gorgeous business they have made.  Happy for them, and glad to have this spa in our area!  You won't be disappointed! Aiza salon and spa is absolutely amazing!   I went this past weekend and I was almost 30 minutes late for my hair appointment because I have a new baby that I needed to feed and my husband was running late on his way home. I saw Mei for my hair and she was completely understanding and wasn't at all upset or frustrated. I also was very nervous about getting my hair cut because I always seem to have bad experiences when it try somewhere new.
