I've been a regular Pretty Nails & Spa at Hilton Head Island for about 1 years now and I will never go anywhere else. From the ease of scheduling an appointment, the great customer service, and the quality of nail care you receive I give them hands down 5 stars. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance due to the fact that they are the best and their schedule fills up FAST! I've had every nail technician work on my nails and you can't go wrong with any of them. They were friendly, plus their nails last for about a month. The nail staff great you and make you feel so welcomed. The staff does an amazing job not only to make sure your nails look great and that you're happy with your results, but also to keep a welcoming, clean and comforting salon. Don't let the outside fool you! It has a rough exterior, but the inside is beautiful, relaxing, and clean without heavy fumes. This is the third nail salon I've been to on the island, and this is the only one I will return to. Ambiance, cleanliness, courtesy of staff, and quality of work is better than any of the prior I have visited. I left relaxed, with great looking feet- which is exactly why I came! Pretty Nail & Spa is my favorite place to go to to get my nails done!  The facility is fairly new, so it is updated, clean, and spacious inside.  The staff is friendly and attentive.  SNS dipping powders are a healthier, chemical-free alternative to acrylic & gels, and Pretty Nail & Spa has them!  There are lots of colors to choose from.  I never make an appointment; I just walk in.  Wait time is minimal.  I've been to other nail places on the island, and I think this one is the best! This family sold a salon  to someone less than 0.4 miles away from this salon. They stayed , worked for him and slowly get phone numbers from all the clients while they opening this salon . Alex , who went online and told people that he closed his old business , but he actually sold it for  $125,000.00. This is an act of heartless people who don't care about others well being. She uses someone's license and puts her picture on it . When the State Board came to ID her , she ran off . People , please don't support this family to do something which hurt others and illegal ! I have been here multiple times since they have opened and love it every time! I have gotten everything from polish changes, pedicures, dipping powder, gel polish, etc. Always super clean and ready for appointments or walk ins. I have had many many underwhelming manicures/pedicures on the island..until I found Pretty Nail! The new salon is clean and tasteful, and I have never had a bad manicure or pedicure by any of the technicians (I have had 5 different people so far). They have pretty underwater footage always on one TV and HGTV on the other TV, both appreciated. I had a bad experience with SNS powder at prior salon but I wanted to try it again, I explained why I didn't like it when I had the dip powder previously and Pretty Nail did amazing. The powder is nice and thin, and they don't sand down your nail too much before application. I have gotten both dip manicures, regular polish manicures, the basic pedicure, the #2 soothing pedicure (go for at least a #2) and the voesh pedicure in a box tangerine  (not sure which number on the menu). I have always made an appointment and only had to wait once and not for long- worth the wait. I had my last manicure before moving out of state :( but  it was my best one yet! Read Less

I made an appointment for a SNS dip powder manicure at 5. Didn't get seated until 5:20. That's fine because it was very busy we all run a little behind, but what was bothersome about them taking appointments during such a busy time is that it seemed like most customers in there weren't getting the focus you hope for when paying for a service. My cuticles were never soaked and pushed back, they just went over them with the nail drill. The beds are very uneven and bumpy and I can see and feel air bubbles in the clear coat. To top it off it's not even the right powder color. I wanted a soft white and when I got into better lighting its light pink. All in all it's a very sloppy manicure that I wasted over $40 on. Pretty Nail and Spa is a luxury nail and spa location. The owner was very happy to assist me and everyone gave me smiles throughout my experience. I could not stop gazing at the beautiful decor that the owner chose and styled himself! So my friend and I are on vacation from Chicago, and we decided to stop here to get a simple manicure. When we walked in they were kind and sat us down immediately to get started, but the results of the job were atrocious. We both had guys, mine, painted all over my finger and did not clean it up so my nails look like my little sister painted them. He also pushed back the cuticle but decided to not paint the upper portion of my nails, so it looks like my nails were painted a month ago. The color on my nails are uneven and just so terribly painted. It cost $32.00 just for normal red polish, no special treatment, and turned out awful. We will be sure to never go back again. Just had first appointment there after being a patron of Tiffany Nail Salon. I had two services done: French Dipping powder SNS done by Hung and French pedicure from Alex. Both came out GREAT! Many neighbors had recommended that I make the switch. In the past, my gel manicures had too much of the white layer and felt thick and uneven to the touch . I had made an appointment the day before and arrived at 9:30AM to be their first appointment. They were prompt and professional. The salon is very clean and they line the pedicure foot bath with plastic bags to help insure this. Alex took great care to thoroughly clean around each nail, smooth out my heels and calloused areas. Both guys were gentle and also cleaned up my cuticles without any pain. I highly recommend them. Read Less

Have worked with Mimi, Eddie and Ella and been pleased every time I return. Try their reflexology pedicure - VERY relaxing. If regular or gel polish doesn't work for you, try the dipping powder manicure - my nails have never been healthier - I don't miss acrylics at all.
