This place is ridiculous. The owner is a snob and hires same. Had the worst mani/pedi in my.life. The front desk gal was not at all helpful with skincare retail products. What a pleasure my first experience was! My cousin referred me after going there for her motherhood massages, and I will definitely be a repeat offender- I mean customer! The staff was ever so lovely and my technician knew her way around the aptly named ahhhh-mazing massage. It truly was AHHHHH mazing. The atmosphere of a spa is very important to me and this one is bright and welcoming, with appropriate rooms for relaxation that give you a chance to come down off the hectic work day fever. Amazing visit as always!!!! Love The staff always welcoming and profesional. Went in because I was 40 weeks pregnant and ready to have my baby!! Had a maternity massage and my tech was just as delicate as she needed to be, she catered to all of my needs and I went into labor the next day!!! Now I'm looking at my little one sleep!! My sisters and I have an annual getaway weekend and we had facials. We planned them for the last appointment of the day. Two of my sisters were taken back at their appointment times. My tech was running behind because of her current customer "who always runs late". it was about 15 minutes late. Two of the products used burned my face so she took it off. The facials were suppose to include foot massages... I got mine but my sisters did not. the tech i had i feel was rushing. as soon as it was over she said have a great weekend and out the door she went. she didn't go over any products that she used nor walk me to the front. If a client is running late the time should be deducted from HER session not rush thru MY treatment. We visited this spa several years ago and it was great. That's why we came back. I had the opportunity to use the FACES Day Spa three weeks ago as a pre-wedding "moment" with my best friend and MOB (Mother of the Bride), as well as the Bride. MOB and I both had mani/pedis and the Bride had a mani. My gel French manicure still looks great. I'd gotten gift cards from co-workers and wanted to use them to give us some "quiet time" before the wedding events. Tiffani and Sheniqua were both attentive and fun. The staff at the desk worked with us to find a date and time that worked best for our schedules. Picking FACES was because they accepted the gift card, AND next time I'd go to FACES on my own dime. Great Mani-pedi!  They pay a lot of attention to detail, so if you looking for a quickie this is not your place.  Also got a 80 minute massage by Jason which was the bomb!  He definitely found my knots and kinks and worked them out!   My only feedback for the spa is to have some kind of sign for other customers to be quiet b/c massages are in progress!  Two women had a really loud conversation right outside my door which was distracting and not relaxing!  That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5!  I will be back! I went for the 80-minute creme de la creme facial, It was great, but actually 60 minutes long.  She "touched" by feet, neck, & arms, but wasn't a massage, so don't expect that;).  Go to the Omni Ocean Tides for a facial with a massage.  My husband enjoyed his massage.  I enjoyed the heated bed & mittens:). Got charged for testing out a nail polish on my finger. I left the room and one of the employees working for FACES told a girl in my party that I was young and reckless...So unprofessional. I also got charged for it and they didn't even tell me. So I had to go back and get it refunded on my card. Just really immature and unprofessional. Read Less

My wife and I booked a couples massage somewhat last-minute while visiting Hilton Head.  We tried to also book pedicures, but again, it was the day before when we called, and none were available.My wife and I quite enjoyed our massages.The staff was friendly and pleasant to associate with.The only thing keeping this from a 5-star rating for me (and I've seen other people mention it in reviews) is the changing situation.  Any other massage I've been to, I've changed in the room where the massage took place.  Here at FACES, there is a designated bathroom/changing room, with a locker to store your things, and a robe and flip-flops for you to put on.  There is also a shower and a steam room in there, and the masseuse invited me to use them after the massage.  Now, at face value (sorry for the pun), this all sounds like a great idea.  However, there are two distinct problems with this that made me slightly uncomfortable.  First - after you put your things in the little locker and change into your robe, you then come out of the bathroom and sit in a cozy little waiting area.  Problem is, that the cozy little waiting area is for like anyone else there.  I'm sitting in my robe with other ladies who are there for nail or hair treatment or whatever.... not massages cause they're not wearing robes!  It was just a little awkward...  Second problem, is that the nice idea of the shower after the massage got a little muddied, because the bathroom/changing room (at least the men's) was also the bathroom for all the rest of the store's clients!)  So, when almost getting in the shower after my massage, there was a knock on the door... well I felt very uncomfortable with the prospect of taking a nice leisurely post-massage shower (which I was invited to do) while there was someone potentially outside waiting to use the toilet.    I think this perhaps is a predicament being overlooked, because in other reviews I've read that mention this, there were also other problems and low ratings and think the management focused on those issues.  So - Good rating, but there is are inherent issues with the way your system is designed to work! Faces is the BEST spa I have ever been to. I have been several times and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. The staff are all very polite and inviting. Faces is a first class spa; clean, bright, relaxing and some of the best service on the island. So for all potential visitors of Faces, You WILL NOT be disappointed!! My mom, sister and I have started a tradition of massages on vacation. We picked Faces based on the reviews and pricing. Prices were very good. A lovely little place in the Village at Wexford. Promptly greeted and brought to our rooms. We've all gotten massages before but this was my first maternity massage. Just being able to lay on my stomach was glorious. I almost asked about being able to buy the pillows I was laying on. The masseuse was excellent. Perfect pressure and quiet. Left feeling relaxed. My sister had gotten so badly burned that they couldn't work on her back, so she got a scalp and head massage. We appreciate the flexibility. My mom, a talker, appreciated that her masseuse talked with her. Looking forward to going back next year. Read Less

I booked an appointment for a Brazilian wax here after having a lot of difficulty finding a place to regularly get this service. I was able to book online as a first-time client, which was a big plus for convenience. The reception staff was very nice and professional, and I was super impressed with their front counter software. (That's an odd thing to notice, but it matters!)  The spa area itself was very soothing. They have taken time with the lighting and music to create a nice little oasis.Arielle worked on me - she was quick, and thorough! In the past I've been thoroughly bummed out by paying sky-high prices for a wax service that didn't take off what it was supposed to. Absolutely no regrets here!
