I've been looking for a new nail salon for a while as the ones I've tried lately just haven't impressed me very much and this is it! The salon was clean, numerous employees greeted me as I walked in the door, there was no wait time on a Sunday afternoon, and the staff was very helpful while I was choosing my powder color and nail polish color. I got a pedicure and a refill - which actually turned in to a new full set because the color and quality of my nails done from a previous salon was not done well. Thao did my pedicure and she was great. She took her time, and was very gentle with my sensitive feet. Lee did my full set and he was AMAZING! Very personable, funny, easy to talk to, and didn't get annoyed with me changing my mind a few times and nit-picking. He told me to let him know how I like my nails and that way, once he gets to know me he will be able to do it right every time! Very professional, and he did a beautiful job! First and last time here! I got my gel mani yesterday, and it’s already chipping! They were barely busy, but the woman who did my nails told me I didn’t need a manicure, just a gel polish. I wanted a manicure, but I went with her suggestion. I realize later it’s because she was rushing... it looked ok when I left, some gel on my skin as usual, but after giving it some time, the gel was all on my cuticle, therefore nothing actually bonded to my nail and they’re chipping at the top! I got my nails done for 2 events this week, so regrettably I’ll have to go somewhere else tomorrow to get it fixed. Save your money, and go somewhere else!!! Read Less

I had a really great experience here yesterday. I love, love, love gel polish because I'm really careless with my hands and I chip regular manicures like it's my job. Over the past few months I have tried a couple of difference manicurists and wasn't happy with their carelessness and sloppiness. It's important that my nails look great because of my job (and because it makes me feel pretty!). I saw Thao at Vivi Nails Spa last night and she gave me the best gel manicure I've had for a long time. She meticulously filed my nails and cleaned up my cuticles and then applied a base coat, two coats of color, and a topcoat. It looks perfect. I'll be back to see Vi for sure. I've been to Vivi Nails Spa twice - one appointment was scheduled and the other wasn't. At my scheduled appointment, it seemed like many people were coming in at the same time and I realized that perhaps my time slot was overbooked. However, one of the stylist kept checking in with me, and seemed sincerely upset that a mistake might have been made. She apologized repeatedly. I waited about half an hour, but that was fine because I knew I was going to ask for some custom nails. This was the first time I'd ever asked for a design off of a photo on my phone, but they were very responsive to figuring out how to do it. It looks beautiful. It was fun to see how excited the other stylist were at Lee's work. As someone who doesn't do their nails often, it made me feel special. At the end, the top coat became warped for some reason, but the staff realized right away and quickly fixed it before I left without additional charge. While it is busy every time I go, I will definitely be back! While there were moments of imperfection, I felt the staff genuinely cared in my positive experience and I greatly respect and appreciate that. Read Less

I took my mom and sisters to get pedicures for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. None of them have ever ""paid for someone to paint their nails"" and were all skeptical. But as soon as we arrived they understood it is so much more than that (And, when someone else paints your toes it is so much more precise and beautiful than our pretzel twist attempts to get the right angle)! As there were four of us, I made an appointment ahead of time and it could not have made for a more smooth and relaxing time. Even though we just did the ""basic"" pedicure, Lee and Thao pampered each of us. The shop is so nice and the massage/pedicure chairs were so comfortable, and Lee and Thao were so gentle, detailed, and organized! They had a great system to alternate working on each of us. I could not be happier and am heading back for a manicure. I have been to many other salons, but I usually hate getting pedicures because the technicians are either snippy and rushed, or are so rough when they do the leg massage that I felt like I was being attacked! Needless to say, that was not at all my experience at Fort Mill. They were incredible and I am so happy we went there! It was a great and relaxing way to prepare for our trip! Read Less

I have no idea why this place has so many good reviews. After I was greeted and told to pick out a bottle of polish, no one ever helped me again. I found my way to somewhere to sit, but during the time I waited I weighed the pros and cons of the salon and left. This is why I left:1. Very few nail polish is to choose from. I was going to end up using a polish that I brought with me that was in my purse.2. The polishes that were available were only halfway full. Nothing looked new. I would have been wary that they were extremely thinned down3. Run down appearance. This Salon is the bare bones minimum. There was nothing luxurious feeling about it, yet the prices were only a few dollars less expensive than the nicest salons in the area and exactly the same as the much nicer salon that I ended up finding within walking distance at the strip center next to it.I took a photo of the polishes so maybe you can see for yourself.I cannot speak to the quality of the work.However, I would never go back here or recommend it to a friend. I would tell friends to stay away because it was a waste of time to even walk in due to the disgusting looking polishes and the fact that you can go somewhere else for the same price and actually feel like you are in a real nail salon, not a basement. Enjoyed my services at this nail salon.  Very friendly service and helpful with choosing colors.  I had a gel polish which has lasted 3 weeks.  I also had a pedicure which lasted as well.   There were dozens of colors and brands to choose from.   Will be going back! Read Less

Yeah! I finally found a place that I LOVE. Clean, cute and friendly. Prices were exactly where I wanted them, and you get a lot for your money. I have gone to many salons trying to find my "home place" and I'm so happy I gave this place a shot. I waited a bit for my Pedi to start but honestly I don't care. They made sure I was sitting in a seat while I waited with the massage chair on. They offered drinks... water, wine or soda. Umm yep, I'm in. They had bags over the pedi bath which I love, so much more sanitary. Nail tech was really friendly and wasn't shy about giving a good leg massage. This will be my spot from now on! Read Less

Just left and all I can say is impressed!  I am huge on customer service and I got it from my first step in the door.  I am visiting from out of town, so I didn't know if this would be the place for me, but the reviews were great, so I thought I'd check it out.  I was greeted by every employee in sight, asked how I could be helped, and then assured that I could be.   I had to wait but that gave me time to decide on color :) I was also reassured several times that it would be just a little longer (although I wasn't in a hurry, I truly appreciated not being ignored!).  Through the process of getting my nails done, I was treated wonderfully by Lee. She was kind, gentle, never rushed or assumed I wanted something I didn't.  She truly treated me with respect.  Also when I went to wash my hands she gave me a warm towel to dry them off with, so nice.  I've never had that before! She had also offered me a drink when we say down, so many nice things, I just can't remember them all! Please go see them!! :) great prices, great people!! Read Less
