This was the second time I went and had the owner, Bobby, do my nails. I wasn't very happy the first time but decided to give them another try. Again Bobby did my nails... gel powder. However this time he was worse. As soon as I sat down he complained about a previous client and then made an inappropriate sign to me while he was filing my nails. Please be aware before going to this salon! I went today and the nail technician had no idea what she was doing. She tried to put polish on my toes without clipping, trimming, buffing or even cleaning my nails. I had to ask her to do it. She proceeded to clip my toe nails with a cuticle trimmer! And it took her 20 minutes to do this because cuticle trimmers aren’t meant to clip toe nails! She never once tried to use actual nail clippers on my toes. She struggled trying to handle the cuticle trimmer- it was obvious she didn’t know how to use the tool. I finally got up and walked out because I was so uncomfortable with her and the salon. I don’t want to assume, but I honestly do not believe she is a licensed nail technician. I am 6.5 months pregnant and cannot risk getting an infection. I’m extremely upset they would have someone trying to work on customers who lacks such basic knowledge of nail care. I will never go back. Read Less

This was the first nail salon I visited since moving to the area.  My visit was almost 5 months ago.  Chose it because it was close, fairly priced, and I needed something done quickly before going out of town the next morning.  Average service and experience (not unhappy, but not overly impressed).  I was sitting in a chair next to a young woman who frequently uses the salon, and she was quite happy with the services.  It was nice meeting her and listening to them visit with her.  I assume this means their service is good enough to have repeat customers and know their history.  However, when I left, I felt I would return if I was in need of nail care, but would definitely be shopping other salons for a better fit. I loved my first visit to Bubbly and will definitely be back. Kim did probably the best pedicure I have ever had and was so pleasant and friendly. Ann started to file off my old acrylic while John finished with another client and was truly sweet. John did an amazing job on my pink and white acrylics. NEVER. AGAIN. I got SNS and it took over an hour and a half. Only one person there knew how to do SNS and he was very inconsiderate and rude. He hurt your skin around the nails with the tool and was very rough. During the process, I started bleeding and afterward my skin stung very bad. My nails did not come out great, the polish is uneven and has marks in it. It was very overpriced and I will never go there again. Read Less

Good pedicure, but requested to have a buff manicure instead of polish, which has a shine, but when finished and the buffing wasn't complete I asked making the nails shiny w/the buffer , I was given a nasty look and quite the attitude.. disappointing, since I specifically asked for the buff w/shine. HORRIBLE!! DON'T GO!! Awful young man who coped an attitude and literally HURT my hands applying acrylics! NOT my 1st rodeo, I have noticeable arthritis in my fingers and he TWISTED and squeezed and scraped me SO hard I was in pain!!!! I knew he was being excessively rough with me but have no clue why he was except for he quoted my one price BEFORE he started on my nails and ANOTHER higher, of course, while in the middle of my nails which annoyed me, I will admit. At the end I took his card and calmly informed him I would tell ALL my friends NOT!!!! to give him ANY business and would show them the card so they know which salon to avoid. I got a gel mani pedi by "John" and he did an excellent job. No wait and very professional. At the end he gave me a hand and arm massage with lotion which was a really nice touch. The color is perfect and and the gel is really durable. As a nurse I definitely need durability! Read Less

I'd gone to bubbly nails in the last and it was my goto nail salon. However, I got annoyed the last few times because I'd have someone working on my mani or pedi and then they would leave in the middle to work on someone else. I started going to a new salon mainly because of this reason.However I went with my friends today because it was basically the only place open. I walked in and was asked what I needed. I said a gel mani. I sat with my friend for about 20 mins and then we were seated at a nail area. The man started to process to take off our gel polish. We sat there for 25 mins and then he moved us to the other side so we could sit with our other friend, which was kind of him.However we waited at least another 25 mins. I finally took the foil off because it was driving me nuts.A lady started taking off my polish finally but was a bit rough. She ended up cutting the cuticle by my thumb.The man then came back (no clue where the lady went) when I said something to my friend about leaving since I had already been gone for over an hr and a half, and still have no polish.The guy told me one minute...and he would come do my manicure.He came over and was obviously rushing (they were very busy and only 3 of them were working). He was also very rough and used his nails along the side of my fingers to get rid of any polish. Which didn't work. The skin of my fingers was stuck to my nails.He then left after he put the Polish on. I waited another 5 mins expecting the massage part...nothing. finally I said ok I'm going to go.He said oh you want lotion? I said no.  Never mind it's fine.I was then charged 35 dollars for a half manicure that took over 2 hours and wasn't even completed.He did apologize for the wait but I feel like we should have been told there was going to be a wait. To be honest I probably wouldn't have waited and would have held out for classy nails to open on monday.There is a reason I stopped going to bubbly nails. If you don't mind having 3 different people work on you and have them run between you and 6 other people then this is the place for you. If you like to have a dedicated person who takes their time and does an excellent job and is honest to you about wait times, AND costs less...go to classy nails by the sun city harris teeter. Went here first time because they could take my friend and I immediately on a Saturday.  Best manicure I've had in awhile.  I don't get gel and this manicure was great for over a week.  Have been back and also got my eyebrows waxed.  Was well done.  I plan on continuing to go here based on service and the price. I stopped by here today with my MIL and my daughter. We went in and 11:15, and we were immediately taken back and our pedicures began. All of our pedicures turned out lovely, but the person who did mine stopped at the painting and went over to start another pedicure. My nails were not painted, he never communicated that he was moving, nor that someone else would finish me up, despite also being there for a manicure as well. 90 minutes after walking in, my nails still were not painted, nor a manicure started. I ended up needing to leave once my toes were finished (I'm a nursing mom right now and had plenty of time when I walked in!), and I'm severely disappointed that what I walked in to get done was not finished at all and certainly not timely. Fast, friendly, clean service. Reasonably priced for the area.  Have the usual OPI polishes and another brand. Offer gel and artificial nails and fills. I got the lime spa pedicure and a regular manicure. Pleasant experience. Sat in the massage chair and sipped the drink that was complimentary with the service.
