DON'T GO HERE!!!!! I wish I could give them a negative 5 stars.  I went in with my friend and the old Chinese guy says what do you want while I wait at the front desk as he's doing someone's nails. I said do you have any room for two pedicures. He ignores me, so I say hello? He says go pick color very rudely but I didn't understand him the first time so I asked him what he said. So he barks at me even more rudely. I said, you know what? I'd like a refund. Where's your manager. He barks go back there! So I proceed to walk to the back where the owner was giving someone a pedicure. I ask her can I please get a refund. She just says no. I said excuse me?  She barks, no! No refund, either you sit and get your nails done or leave. I was enraged so I yelled. Are you fucking kidding me? This was a Valentine's gift from my husband and I need that $40 back! She yells at me again refusing to refund me. She goes sit over there! I see that the rude guy is waiting by a chair now. I yelled no! Give me my money back! I'm not letting you touch me? You crazy? The guy then walks past me laughing a pronounced "Ha ha ha" in my ear. So I ended up saying go fuck yourself and went outside. I called my husband and he said stay there and that he'd  be there in 10 minutes. Well he calmly and threateningly handled it by saying get up while he snapped his finger once. Give me my money back or you'll have the police to deal with as well. She comes up to the front and tells him Mr. there's no refunds on certificate. He says give me back my money and you don't ever speak to my wife like that! Not to anyone's wife for that matter.  He whips out the receipt and says do it now. She calls the credit card company but it's closed so he asked when are you open tomorrow? She says 9. He went in today and she already had a envelope with the money ready. I had a terrible experince the nail tech did a good job s my nails were in the process of being completed but, once she was done as walked out I n otice how terrible it looked bc she was in a rush to get to another customer nails. My daughter went there today to get acrylic nails, but was charged for gel. When I called the store, I was told she requested gel. That was not the case, since she chose polish from the same area that her friend did. Her friend was charged $25, and my daughter was charged $35 for the same thing. They lost customers today because we will not return to this store. Read Less

Very unprofessional and rude. Will not go back. Tech got annoyed that I didn't go for the more expensive gel nails. So she was not very friendly. What was supposed to be a relaxing mother's day present turned out to be a rather upsetting event. I noticed none of them had a South Carolina nail tech license on display. If I could put negative stars I would. I am very picky about where I get my nails done because I feel like most places just rush you through the motions to get you in an out. That's exactly how I felt in this nail salon. If you're looking for somewhere to go to relax and receive a good pedicure/foot massage this is not the place for you. I made it very clear when I walked in there that I wasn't in a hurry and wanted someone who would do a good massage and I would even pay extra for extra massage. The guy I got spent less than five minutes on my feet and never once massaged my feet, just my calves. even after I asked him if he was going to massage my feet. He went over to grab the foot dividers to start painting my toes instead. I asked him to just please stop because I wasn't satisfied. My feet still hurt at this point and I still had a rough spots on my heels. I told him thank you but I'm going to a different salon tomorrow to get my feet done properly. I was so frustrated at this point because all I wanted to do was to get a good pedicure and a fill-in. When I explained to the owner my problem was she got an extremely sour attitude with me and reaching out her hand said "so no fill in? It's $25 for the pedicure". She completely ignored what I had told her. When I explain myself again she told me I could sit down and let him finish my toes. There was no way I was sitting back in that chair. When I told her that I would not be returning it to the salon ever again and that I would write a review she simply said "good I don't want people that look like you in my store anyways." What in the world! Not sure what that comment was even supposed to mean. I was still in my dress work clothes from work? My advice...stay far away from this place. I went the next day to 1st spa & nails in west Columbia across from the Lexington medical center and they did an outstanding job. My pedicure nearly put me to sleep it was so relaxing and my fill-in looked great! I even tipped my nail technician an extra $20 for giving me such good service. Read Less

Please don't get your nails done at this facility. I have had my nails done at multiple different facilities in the Columbia area but have never left one bleeding and in tears. I went for a pedicure and a fill in on my acrilic nails...the pedicure was fine until I got home and inspected a lack luster paint job with streaky areas. I had to repaint them. But the real issue lies in my fill in.Everything seemed to be going well until I inspected my nails after the gel top coat only to find dirt left below. I alerted my nail tech and he proceed to drill underneath my nail until he broke my real nail at the quick! Without getting rid of the dirt. When he realized he would have to redo the whole nail to make it look presentable, he stopped, gave me the scrub and oil, told me to go wash my hands and they next time we would redo it. Stunned, I washed my hands, paid, and got in my car. In my car, I was looking at my nails and I thought no, this isn't right, I'm unhappy. I went back in and showed another nail tech my nails (my original one had already moved on to another client before I was done drying) and said I wasn't happy. She proceeded to shout across the whole salon that a client was unhappy (multiple times) presumably to alert my original nail tech. Mortified, I apologized and she pointed to a chair and said it was okay. We sat down and she began to hurriedly peel off the acrilic,  meanwhile asking me "Did you do something to your nail??" I said no just my normal daily activities. She sloppily applies the acrilic powder in effort to compensate for the half of my nail missing from the other nail tech. It sticks to my skin and burns as it dries. In effort to drill it away she drills below my nail and suddenly the rest of my nail rips off and goes flying across the desk. I say ow, pull away my nail, and look below and these are traces of blood. The nail tech pulls my hand back and continues to work. Stupidly, embarrassingly, I started to cry from the pain and from sheer frustration. She finishes my nail and says it's okay and I left. Now I have one sore nail that looks different from all the others, and 9 more that look very half arse. I feel robbed. Never have I had such a bad experience getting my nails done. Learn from my experience and save yourself the pain, time, and money...don't go to creative nails in harbison. Read Less

the only reason I'm giving two stars is for the salons appearance. it's been 6 days and I already have 3 broken nails. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. rose nails might be expensive but it's worth it I've never experienced a broken nail in my life, and to have 3 in 6 days is unacceptable point black period. I attempted to get a design on my toes that I had asked beforehand if they were able to do. They said yes. The design looked as if my 4 year old did it. I told him to just remove it and to do a simple flower. He couldn't even do that. He and his staff began speaking in their foreign language and laughing. Very disrespectful. If you didn't know how to do a design, you should've stated that in the beginning so I wouldn't have expected it. Staff is rude and disrespectful. I felt very unwelcomed. Stay away from this place. Do not waste your time or money going to this Nail Salon. These people do not speak much English, nor do they communicate with you. They rush through their jobs and hurry you out of their shop. Service and quality is very poor. I took both of my daughters for Mani/Pedis for a fresh start for New Years. Not busy at all! The worst experience I've ever dealt with in my life!!! Never had I felt so unwelcome, uncomfortable in a place where it's supposed to be relaxing. Walked in, no one came to greet me. I told them what I wanted from across the room and was rushed to pick out a color that I didn't really want because I didn't get a real chance to see all the selections. While removing the gel polish from a previous manicure, the man providing my services was drilling the gel off and burned my skin a few times without remorse. He tossed my hands like they belonged to a rag doll completely with no respect. To top it all off, he didn't even give me what I paid for (by then I've already paid). I asked for a matte finish and didn't receive that. Another person had to slap a matte coat that didn't even covered my whole nail. Never again will I return. Ruined my nails!  I had gel polish on and wanted to take it off and just have a clear shellac manicure.  The older man started out fine by soaking my nails so the polish would melt off.  I think they started getting busy and I guess he was impatient so he picked up an electric file and started to file off the polish a little.  I was a little worried at first but just did a little and continued to soak.  It was partly my fault for not paying better attention (I was listening to a book on my ear buds) because I when he picked up the file again, he filed into my my actual nail bed and ruined my nails.  It will take me months to get them healthy again.  He said he did it because he thought I was getting Gel again.  Honestly that is no excuse.  They should NEVER use an electric file to remove Gel polish. I really tried with this place. I moved to Irmo from Charlotte in May 2014 and asked around to recommend a nail place in the area. I even checked Yelp and with mixed reviews I thought I would give it a shot.  The first time I went it was rushed and while the manicure itself was ok, the place was somewhat dirty and the staff was very quiet and not very friendly. I got a gel polish manicure and it only lasted five days, whereas it should have lasted two weeks.  Each time it was the same--- ehhh.  And then this last time was what sent me to write this. $30 for a gel manicure that included the saddest hand massage I have ever received. Literally, the guy should have just shaken my hand- it would've been more appropriate. The polish didn't even cover the whole nail bed. I am furious. I will NOT be trying this place again and I do not recommend you do either. Read Less

I'm actually a fan and would go back. It was tidy and the staff were friendly. The waxing area is in the open and you just sit in a computer chair, so that's kinda ghetto, but they do a decent job. Prices aren't bad too. Maybe not my go to nail salon, but I'll be back. Read Less

This is a pretty nice salon as far as decor is concerned and cleanliness. The staff seemed very friendly. I enjoyed my manicure but am disappointed that my gel manicure that cost $35 only lasted 6 days before chipping when it should have lasted at least ten days if not two weeks plus like it does with my normal nail salon.
