Worst manicure ever. The nail technician left bubbles in the nail polish, left streaks from the top coat and color coat. I left a good tip thinking I would get better service but of course I paid before the color was polished and was left upset with the outcome. Read Less

I'm VERY picky about acrylic nails. I was with my last girl 10 yrs and 8 with the guy prior to that. It has taken me 9 moof reading reviews and drive-bys to finally choose Nail Palace in Clover/Lake Wylie near to my new home. It's clean...no nail dust at all. Sunny put my full set of acrylics on and she is SO personable and chatty!!! She did my nails EXACTLY as I like them...rounded square, no step off at the cuticle, and the underside as clean as the tops. I will be going back, regularly and will have a pedi there, too. This was my first time here. I found the staff to be very friendly, and the place appear to be generally clean, although not very nicely decorated. But I'm not here for the decor. I'm here for a quality pedicure. Instead of letting my cuticles soak in the cuticle solution, and using the tool to push my cuticles back, she went pretty much straight to ripping them out with the cuticle cutters. She also trimmed back the corners of my big toenail as though I had ingrown toenails, which I did not. Now I will have them when they begin to grow out. Thanks. She did a very nice job of massaging creamy lotion into my calves and feet. I did enjoy that part. But when it came time to begin the polish, things really went downhill. First of all, she very quickly brushed a tiny amount of basecoat just at the center of my nail. She did not bother to coat the entire nail bed, but she did manage to get basecoat around my cuticles. Then she applied nail polish so fast and she applied it very thick and, like the basecoat, got it all over my skin. I thought for sure she would stop and use a brush Dipped in polish remover to clean up my cuticles, but she didn't. She just went ahead and globbed on the topcoat.  That was it. No offered to sit somewhere and dry, no spraying of fast dry material, nothing. Should I have said something? Probably. But I assume I'm coming to a professional place staffed with people who actually know how to give a pedicure and apply polish correctly. It is not my job to tell them how to do theirs.  They were very fast, I think I was in and out within 20 minutes. But it takes more than 20 minutes to do a decent, albeit basic, pedicure. Read Less

Pretty disappointed with my pedicure..... at the time I was happy to relax and didn't really look at the quality of the pedicure when it was finished because it was relaxing. By the time I got home I was disappointed to see the quality of it because the polish was all around my skin. Don't think I'll go back again unless I have plenty of time to inspect and fix prior to leaving. Read Less

Sunny is fabulous! My Mom has gone to her for several years now-and if Moms happy- ya know Sunny's good! T gives the BEST pedicure in the 2 state area. He grins a lot when I start telling him I'm going to kidnap him and take him home with me. He truly spends one full hour on you. Sunny's Mother does fabulous hand painted designs on nails. All the other Nail Techs are so warm and friendly. I went today for the first time.  The nail salon I was using,  the quality of workmanship would depend on who you get.  I never noticed  a difference until the holidays.   I broke a thumb nail and cracked the pointer next to it.  The girl did not want to put a tip on it. She said it would grow.  Ok  so I got my tip and it was so thick and lumpy.  I reminded her about the cracked nail which  she pored super glue on.  I've had super glue used before but never on a nail this bad. I wanted a tip but she said it would hold.  The gel polish lasted 8 days it started lifting down at the bottom.  So I showed all this to the girl at nail palace not she said she would fix it. She filed the thumb tip as much as she could.  It about  half as thick as it was.  The tip she put on my pointer is perfect .  It looks just like my nail.  They are friendly greeting customers by name.   Good color choices,  everyone  working not on their phones.  There is a friendly family vibe and it costs less. I would much rather support this nice family business that does a great job on top of correcting  others poor work for no extra charge.  I was very happy with the entire  appointment. Read Less

The best pedicure a nurse could ask for!! I have been to several nail salons in Lake WYLIE but by far the best pedicure was here at Nail Palace! I had gotten off of work and was headed home and decided to stop by it was a hour before closing and a nice gentleman assisted with my pedicure and I must say it was the best!! So ladies if you are ever in Lake Wylie and need a pedicure that will make you leave out feeling fabulous and relaxed stop by Nail Palace! Read Less

I was pressed for time on a Saturday afternoon and had to get my nails and toes done fast!  I was in the Clover area and called a girlfriend to see if she knew a good place.  She recommended the Nail Palace and I'm glad she did!  The staff was great, HUGE color selection and my nail and toes look like they came out of a magazine!  I have since went back and become a regular customer even though there are places much closer to where I live. Roaming around in Clover waiting for hubs to finish up some biznass around the corner and what do I spy? Nail Palace! Normally I'd check around Yelp to ensure that a nail salon is up to speed before I dip my tootsies in their pedicure bowl, but I took a chance as this place doesn't have any reviews yet! I'm happy to relay that the salon is clean, well kept and the staff does a great job.I stopped in on a Sunday (now open from 12-5 pm) to get a mani-pedi combo. I was kindly greeted, chose my polish and off I went. I hung out in a massage chair as my nail tech went after my feet with a hot (sanitized) water bath, pumice stone, leg and foot scrub, nail clipping, polish, etc. My oh my did my feet look better. Even still 1 week+ later my pedicure looks great. Onto my mani I went, same deal, different appendages. 1 hour, $38 later (plus tip) I was out the door feeling all refreshed and polished.
