I’ve been here twice and Emily has always done an amazing job on my nails and I will always ask for her when I go. I’ve had an appointment set up with someone else before and they had been over booked and I waited a little past my time, but it was still fine in the end because Emily had taken care of my nails and always does an outstanding job. I have never in my life been somewhere and had to deal with the customer service that I dealt with today. I came in for a dip powder manicure, toenail polish change, & eyebrows. As soon as I set down in the chair the owner looked at me and said “I don’t want you to complain if your nails are too thick, that’s how they are”. Wow okay. I just sat down, but okay that’s alright I guess? Then after it took them 15 to get someone to sit and do my nails, the guy looks at me and goes it’s so annoying when people look at there nails every second and ask for little things to be done. This is funny because about 2 minutes prior I had looked at my nails and asked him to please make them square. Didn’t realize that would be a big deal, considering I’m paying for my nails to look how I want them to look. I was just blown away by the rudeness. I hadn’t done anything to them, for them to treat me that way. I even called and made an appointment so they would have time to do everything. I just don’t get it. I highly recommend you to NOT go to this place! They are so rude and honestly only care about money! Worst experience ever!!!!! In response to what the owner said: First, It’s not about telling me what you have to do it’s about HOW YOU SAY IT. You had an attitude from the time I stepped in the salon til the time I left. You can try to justify your actions but it doesn’t matter. I know how I was treated and I just don’t want other people to have to experience it. Second, no it did not take 15 minutes for my nails to soak off. It took 15 minutes for someone to come over and look at my nails, for them to NOTICE the powder wasn’t coming off. Then I had to sit ANOTHER 15 for them to soak off. Remember that? Third, when I’m paying for something to look how I want it to, I don’t see the problem in looking at them while they’re getting done. You and your employees need to work very very hard on CUSTOMER SERVICE. But yes, you are right. I will not step back foot in that salon. Read Less

Terrible Service. When I first sat in the chair, I told him I wanted long stiletto nails. I did not occur to me that he did not know the names of the different shapes of nails. Instead of asking me what shape is stiletto, he just gave me square shaped nails. I decided to look past it. While he was gluing on my nails and cutting them, I realized one of them was crooked. When I told him he said he wasn't done, and that I needed to stop inspecting my nails while he was still working on them. At the end of the appointment I had to pay for nails that were not the right shape, and a crooked nail. Will not return. Read Less

Quality of nail service is good but the workers here are RUDE. I made an appointment for a simple manicure at 9:30am, and I'm sitting here at 10:06 just having had my nails filed and nobody helping. I was asked to wash my hands after the nail technician finished filing my nails; I did so, in front of the technician, and when I returned to my seat she SMELLED one of my nails, asked me if i washed my hands (after just watching me do so), and when I said yes, she responds "with soap?" When I responded to her curtly saying that I did and asking her if she wanted me to wash again, she told me she would no longer be doing my nails and switched with someone else. Came in to get a no chip manicure and opted for the dip powder. Normally my no chip lasts 3 weeks. This manicure, however uses no uv light to cure which is great. Also it is much harder without being acrylic or fake looking. I'm giving 3 stars to start and will edit my review in two weeks to see if it lasts. Overall, the people are very friendly and were accommodating to my needs. Update, it's still on and looks perfect! No chipping at all and it's been over 3 weeks! Wish I could go back, but it's really far from my home. Definitely recommend! Read Less

Very nice salon with even nicer people. They have a children's chair which is great- I haven't seen anywhere else in Clemson. Perfect for mother/daughter days. They were slow and Tammy let my daughter pretend to be a nail tech and actually let her do her nails. How sweet was that?!? We'll definitely make them our place from now on! Highly recommend!! I had always heard great things about Tammy's so I decided to give them a try. I got a pedicure which was okay. Depends on what you like. They didn't really focus on dead skin around the nail, but they did do a good job smoothing the skin on the heel. So when it was time to get my manicure I told her I wanted a manicure AND gel polish. Then I said instead of the gel polish I want to do powder instead. So she immediately starts to dip my nails. No trim, no filing, no attention to the cuticle, no attention to the dead skin beside the nail. So she dipped 2 nails in a clear base powder, and I asked "what about the manicure" she replied "I do after." I have never gotten my nails done and then had a manicure after and continued to dip them. I am the type of person that I feel as though I am spending my hard earned money I want them to look good. She had dipped maybe 4 nails when I said nevermind, I will get the manicure and everything later. She said ok and charged me 10 extra dollars for what she did to my nails, which was nothing but made 4 of them rough. I asked what the extra 10 was for and she said I did your nails, I replied no you didn't and she insisted that she did. Whatever, I paid her and let her know that I felt her service was poor. This is the only nail salon I will go to in Clemson SC. Tammy is an amazing business woman and has a Beautiful spirit. They believe in quality and they put the needs of their clients first!
