If I had a choice I would not even give this Nail Salon 1 star, but I could not post this without at least giving 1. I sent my daughter to have her nails done for Prom this afternoon. She ended up going to Allure Nails in the Publix Shopping Center in Clemson. I had already read bad reviews about this salon, and did not realize this is where she was going. She was going to have her nails squared and tipped. Well as you can tell from the last two pictures they are definitely not square and the tips are all kinds of messed up as far as size and width. My daughter is 17 and not very out spoken. So when she got done with this rush job because she is young. She called me very upset that this was not what she was expecting and was not done right along with the girl that did her nails was extremely rude. Unfortunately I was at work and did not have time to help her resolve this issue. When she showed me her nails I really thought that they had just painted her real nails because they were rounded and about the same length. She explained what had happened and then I called my oldest daughter to take care of this issue. She called and spoke with someone there about giving her a refund or something, and how bad these nails looked. So I sent my 17 year old daughter back up there to this shop. When she arrived she noted that the girl was nicer and took her back to take off the messed up nails and then gave her a refund of her money. When she got home tonight I asked her why she had a band aide on her finger. She took it off and that is where the first picture come in at if you look you can see what a disaster her real nails are and how jagged they were cut not even filed. So you know that they are going to grow out the side of the nail. Then if you look one several of her original nails were cut to short almost to the quick and the one with the band aide is bleeding. So it was completely cut to short and into the quick. Her cuticles were not cared for and the one on that finger is also bleeding. She took the time out of her crazy busy schedule in the attempt to get Prom ready and now her time was Wasted and trying to find time to go somewhere else is going to be difficult. I say all this to tell you that I would not recommend this Nail Salon to anyone. This is the worst job I have ever seen done. They're pretty good when they aren't busy but when there's a lot of people there at once their service really goes down hill. They rush through everyone and do the bare minimum. Not the best at customer service Read Less

All I know is DONT make an appointment here because you’ll have to sit and wait an hour before you get someone to do your nails. Need go get their appointment system working alittle better. I don’t have an hour to sit and waste especially after I make an appointment. Read Less

Allure Nail is the best! I've been getting my nails done (gel acrylic and tips) since i was about 14years old. With that, I have been to tons of salons from here to way up north and way down south (with traveling). Allure is hands down the Absolute best I've ever been to and I've been with them for a few years now religiously! All the employees are super friendly and understanding. They have the best prices! They have the shortest wait and fastest buttt Perfect work! They are very clean, neat, sterile, professional and respectful! And i also get waxing and it is amazing! Me and my roommate went to get our nails done for her birthday. They told us we couldn't sit together. Okay? That's fine was thinking like maybe a chair or 2 away is fine. No they sat us on opposite end of the salon. Rude the whole time. Uneven nails. And at the end asked me cash or credit. I said cash, thinking she would give me a few minutes to let my nails dry. She pulled out my whole wad of cash, and got offended when I took it from her. Never will go back. Read Less

Sadly I had an awful experience here. I sat and waited for 10 plus minutes while the employees were chatting and watching something on their ipad. When someone finally helped me, he stopped multiple times in the middle of doing my nails to text on his phone. They are over priced and I was very unhappy to pay as much as I did to still have nail polish on my fingers when he was done. I asked him to clean that off and he told me it would cost more and that I would have to wait. I would take your money and business else where. Read Less

Had the best experience at Allure. The staff was warm and welcoming when they greeted me. I had a powder manicure by Amy and she did a great job. She was very sweet and made sure I got the exact color I was looking for. She even painted it on a fake nail so I could be sure of the color it would be. This was my first time going as I am new to the area. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon. I got sat down immediately for my pedicure. Pam did an amazing job and took her time to get my calluses off and the paint looks great. My manicure looks awesome as well!! And they had really reasonable prices and offer specials for weekdays. They took a whole chunk out of my little sisters eyebrow , then when I addressed them about it she said I don't remember? How do you not remember when you just did them ? I gave it three stars because it depends on what service you're getting. I've had mani/pedis there, and they do great work. The man that did my most recent pedicure did a fantastic job and took his time, and I would go back for these services. However, DO NOT get your eyebrows done here. I needed my eyebrows done inexpensively one day, and decided to go. The woman that did them was on the phone the entire time and the whole thing was so rushed that I was literally in and out... in 5 minutes. That wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that (despite my asking her to keep the same shape and thickness) the woman waxed off part of my left eyebrow and the peak of both arches. It was noticeable to others besides myself and was very upsetting. It took me months to grow back fully. A cosmetologist at a spa that I go to now told me that she is sure that Allure doesn't have proper licensure to do waxing at all, but I haven't checked on this so I can't verify. Very clean and nice! A little pricey but so worth it. I messed up my nails pretty badly the second I walked outside and they were even a little busy and still fixed them for me right away. I tried to give my nail tech more money for dealing with me but she refused. I will definitely be coming here every time I'm in town and will need to get my nails done Read Less

I usually am pleased with the service I receive at Allure, but today I can't say the same. My nail technician was staring at her phone for my entire appointment. She would stop painting my nails mid-stroke when she would get a text, without an apology or other acknowledgment, and I'd be left for 5 minutes at a time. Then once she replied, she would rush through the painting, leaving gel polish on about several of my fingers. I just drove from Seneca to get a pedi after I checked to make sure they were open till 7:30...I get here at 6:40 and the open sign is on, door open and the dude outside smoking tells me, "Sorry we are closed." Been going here for a very long time. Usually was fairly happy with their services (have acrylic fingernails and they kept them up) last week I got them filled before Christmas and the same day one just popped off. The guy that did them that day was rushed and very sloppy in his work. I came back as soon as I got a chance (a couple days later because they were closed for the holidays and what not)  to get that nail fixed and they were incredibly rude to me the entire time. The guys doing our pedicures seemed rushed to finished. Didn't introduce themselves and didn't ask what kind of pedicure we wanted Toe nails edges were rough and uneven. When I asked to correct it they switched to a woman who put my sandals on before painting my nails and got polish on my $100 shoes. SMH. Not very professional.  Won't be going back. Read Less

Very clean updated facility. It is very roomy and set up with lots of massage chairs and the like.The girl who did my nails was thoughtful and did a nice job.It looks quite nice inside and can accommodate a large crowd easily.I have no complaints. There has been very few times in life that I have been this dissatisfied with a salon as I was today. I sit down to have my full set done, that's fine. Everything is fine until the person doing my full set decides to tell me-while they're putting the last coat of paint on my nails- that their card reader is down and to pay them I have to go to the ATM down the strip by the publix and get cash. Excuse me?! You waited until now to tell me this?!?! I pay my debts so I go get the cash extremely aggravated. Not to mention that several of my nails are filed crooked. Then when I come back and pay the $40 he says I owe he looks at me like I owe him more when I don't tip him. I'm sorry but your tip got paid to the ATM when I was forced to drive down there to get you cash because you neglected to tell me you couldn't take my debit card BEFORE doing my nails. Favorite nail salon in the area although I can only speak to the pedicure services, I have had 10 or so here. I recommend the NuSkin Organic pedicure. Smells incredible. Salon has always been clean and service fast outside of peak traffic hours (I won't go to a nail salon when it could possibly be crowed).   The salon itself has an updated aesthetic, relaxing environment. NuSkin Organic is not on the menu so you have to ask for it. Read Less

I would give 1/2 a star if I could. And only giving that because they applied cream to the top of my hands. Worst manicure I've ever had.  Needed to go some where else on the same day to get re filed to fix uneven edges.  Certainly not worth $15 and my waste of 15 minutes. Read Less
