Visiting Charleston and stopped in for a pedicure. The front door is very unassuming and I almost kept walking. The salon is on the 2nd floor and the entry is a stairway. They have a large menu of different types of pedicures. I chose a lavender pedicure and Tina was excellent. One of the best nail techs I’ve had. Very sweet. She mentioned that the salon had new owners for about a month (April 2018) and they have remodeled and added new massage chairs. Would definitely come back! Read Less

I chose this place because of all the positive Google reviews and I was not disappointed. Each manicurist was thorough (which is very important to me) and took their time for my nails. I don't typically write reviews because sometimes service people have bad days too but this issue has to be addressed. I went in with my family for a pedicure today (7-29-17) and the man that preformed my service was horrible. He got a phone call right after he asked me to put my foot up on the cushion and said "put your foot back in, I'll be right back" and stood up and left me for ten minutes while the others in my party were already getting theirs done. The nail tech fin...ally comes back and begins my pedicure and is done in 13 minutes. I was completely done and my aunt, who got the same service as me and was started ten minutes before me, was still on the massage portion of her session. Was in Charleston for a wedding and got an appointment a few hours before the wedding for a regular mani + pedi. Nail salon is on the second floor. The pictures on yelp make it look nicer than it is. Kind of a dump, could use a cleaning and some organization to make the environment feel more relaxing. Nails were above average, but I wanted to get out as quickly as possible. Read Less

I've never found a nail salon that has excellent service no matter what. They greeted at door and had me seated quickly even though I didn't have an appointment. I had gel nails done and I really loved how it turned out. The color looked pretty and was applied evenly. Couldn't be more pleased! Read Less

We went here for my wedding, the ladies were not talkative or nice. They didn't really listen and did what they thought was best, one girl even happened to spill my sisters water on her. They were not helpful or accommodating. Most students from college of Charleston go here but the quality of work done is not well compared to others. Read Less

Terrible gel manicure, I could've done a better job myself. When removing my current gel he over filed down to my nail beds to the point it hurt. Didn't get the color to the edges so blank spots on the edges. Then on other fingers the gel was so thick it ran over and developed clumps so he FILED my gel that was already top coated. As most gel users know don't file the gel or it will just end up peeling sooner. So disappointed and it was so expensive. Read Less

Very disappointed with an eye brow wax job that was done on Friday feb 10 around 4:30pm. Not only did she rip my skin but are claiming that it just a rash. Now I'm headed to the urgent care due to how swollen my eye area is. Read Less

Went here for the first time two days ago and had a horrible experience. I went in for a pedicure and a full acrylic set. When I told the owner I wanted to take off my old nails and get new ones she proceeded to rip them off instead of letting my nails soak and as a result ripped off the majority of all my nails. I started to cry because it hurt so bad and she just kept going anyway. When she finished several of my nail bids were bleeding. Needless to say I will never go back again. This was the most negative experience I have ever had at a nail salon.  At the beginning of my appointment, I politely asked the nail tech not to cut my cuticles at all.  He agreed, but then he kept trying to cut them when I would look away.  He pushed my cuticles back so hard that it was painful, pushing the tools way under the cuticle bed.  WORST of all, is that halfway through my appointment, the tech tried to use nail clippers that I noticed had other people's dead nails in them and were obviously not sanitary.  I have serious concerns about the sanitation of the place, based on this experience.After painting one of my fingernails, I noticed that the polish I had selected was very goopy and bubbly, so I asked right away if I could switch before he painted the other nails.  He told me that it was just how the first coat of that brand of polish looks and convinced me to let him paint the rest.  After two coats, the polish looked terrible, and he was very annoyed when I asked him to change it.  After my pedicure, I noticed that he had completely missed the side of one of my toenails with the polish.  He was resentful when I simply asked him to add polish to the toe before I left. He told me that it was too hard to paint my toenails because I wouldn't let him cut my cuticles.  I have never been to a salon where a nail tech couldn't simply push my cuticles back and do a decent job painting my nails. Got my nails and toes done as a fast late night choice and they did great. We got there at 7:15 thought they closed at eight, but they closed at 7:30 but they didn't hesitate to help us and take their time ...they didn't seem to be in a rush,  The girl who did my nails was super sweet and another guy did my toes and they look incredible and he was really sweet as well! I walked into the Tips to Toes Nail Spa without an appointment. I was greeted very politely and they were able to fit me in right away. I picked out my color and sat down in a very comfortable chair with a flat screen with the Weather Channel on right above. Perfect. Hugo did a beautiful job on my nails. He is now working on my toes. They offered me something to drink and I asked for water. They brought it in a beautiful water glass with ice and a straw. First class! Read Less

Super friendly staff. Pricing was very high for a normal gel and regular pedicure. It was $38 for gel nails and I don't know how much for a pedicure... my bill came out to I think $68 dollars. I live in New York City and prices aren't even this high for a simple mani pedi. Read Less

I love Tips -2- Toes. I feel so comfortable and welcomed every time I come in here because the staff is so genuinely nice and accommodating. the services are well worth it. It has a very spa feel and they're very meticulous with what they do. The salon is also very clean and serene. Every time I have went here I have received a lot of compliments on my nails. Read Less

The owner is 100% accommodating to her clients. Don't let the size fool you, they have all the latest colors of selection, great service and pay special attention to detail so you don't walk out with a missed hangnail or nail polish smudged in your cuticle.
