She listens to what you want and does a great job of communicating what she is doing through the whole process. Staff was great. Haircut was uneven in numerous areas, partial foil - half of my head is blonde highlights and the other half just like when I went in-normal color. This was done by one of the owners. Unfortunately I had to go see to my regular stylist yesterday which was just 3 days later to get redone. All in all, $300 in 3 days, I am very disappointed. My experience was average. The staff was pleasant and they are trying to give a more casual but upscale environment. However, the salon is in an old house, and although renovated, it still smells and feels like an old house to me. Especially the hair washing area. I found that part to be below average, and thats important to me. The hair dye washed out after 2 washes and they offered to fix it, but had no openings to fix it for a whole month. This place is amazing! Christy gave me a facial with microdermabrasion and lash extensions. My face was so soft and it was so relaxing, the products smell and feel fantastic! The lashes are AMAZING, I can barely tell they are on but they are gorgeous and I've gotten so many compliments! No need for mascara or liner, well worth the $. I went to Ego Boost as a first time customer for a haircut and I want to say that the salon is aptly named, I can't stop smiling because of my new do'. It had been over 20 years since I had a professional cut and was a bit nervous. They put me at ease and they do their best to pamper you, especially the scalp massage during shampooing! I will be back, not only because they really listen to what you want and get it done, but because they treat you as part of their family.
