This place is so unprofessional. I dropped my 15 yr. old daughter off at Hollywood nails @ exactly 3:00pm to get her nails done. I came back at 4:3O to pick her up and she’s sitting there with her nails un-done. She said the nail technician that was available told her to come back at 6:15 cause they have been busy all day and have church on Sundays at 5:00. This is totally unappreciated to me.How do you tell a customer who has been waiting for an hour and a half that they have to leave and comeback because you have church services to attend. Well I sure hope they reap what the sow on this one cause this just isn’t right. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go here!!! The nail techs are not good. My nails were so thick and wide. Maybe it is because I am used to my nails being donbe a specific way or I know how thick and nicely shaped I want my nails. I WOULD NOT GO BACK OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! Read Less

I went to Hollywood nails today since my nail tech went on vacation. My nail broke thanksgiving night and it was really irritating me I can't stand a broken nail. The older lady greeting me and I told informed her about the broken nail she said the price will be $10.00 I'm thinking to myself $10.00 for one damn nail. Ugh... i went there for an acrylic fill with gel polish was charged $35 when I asked why so much #7 said well I had to file and shape... I'm a nail technician and File and shape is included you don't charge more..I asked for them if they could change the channel... twice and they didn't they justa ignored me.. let me tell there was nobody waiting, first ones there... they could have accommodated... This was a case of poor customer service. I walked in, no one looked up or greeted me. I proceeded to pick my nail polish and took a seat. Two ladies walked in behind me and were immediately greeted and taken to the pedicure station. Thirty minutes later, still nothing. The man finally walks over and asked did I want my nails done? I said yes. He says well we can't do them. I explained to him I didn't just walk in and that I had been waiting before the other two ladies. He still refused. Went with a wedding party for mani-pedi's... had two little girls with us that got the child's pedicure. We had called a month ahead of time and given a headcount (there were 7 ladies and 2 children) so they could plan to have extra techs. We went on a Monday. The bride, one bridesmaid and one of the children went when we got there. The rest of us waited... and waited.... and waited...MY manicure was excellent, got the shellac in "Bubble Bath" for a neutral look. Looked great, the nail tech (Thang) was very professional and did an excellent job. Decent price.My pedicure-an hour and a half after we got there (with reservations called in a month in advance), they finally turned on the pedicure chair for me and I stuck my feet in. My pedicure was ok-they charge $5 for callus removal (and I didn't think I had any, my feet were in good shape thank you!), but I got charged for that. I was disappointed in the foot massage. Three an a half hours later-we were checking out. Turns out the little girls pedicures (which were just "fun" with some polish, were FULL PRICE just like the adults. The bride (and mother of one of the little girls) had the gel acrylic french tips put on and we didn't notice till we had left-that one of her nails was different-it had a different shape than the rest of her nails... and the white was jagged.
