I went in when around 9:15 am and was seen immediately. I needed my disaster from diamond nails fixed. My nails were miss-shapen, two broke from thin acrylic (within two days of my visit), and they couldn't do designs. Hope knew how to work with my natural curved nails, shape perfectly, with a cute design. The process did take quite a while (1 1/2) and they aren't very sociable with customers. I just got done having the most amazing pedicure! I highly recommend going here especially to see one of their new additions, Mr Long. He was friendly, attentive and he took his time with me. I didn't have to wait long at all, but the customer service was less than desirable. The manicurist was  very rude, he was really impatient and sarcastic!  I have worked in a Salon for years, I'm saddened by the lack of care and professionalism. It is a shame, I just moved here and I really like the  location it is convenient. All I asked for is a set of Gel fills, any color on my nails and a design that the manicurist would likes. I'm an artist I'm easy to please, I can wear any colors even neutral colors. I have been going here for almost a year. I love the work they do but it seems sometimes more than not, their quality lacks. Today I got my nails done with the dip powder, as I have before, and by the time it was done I honestly had more nail polish and gunk around my cuticle than on my actual nail. I got home and spent my time fixing with a file and nail clippers what should've been noticed before I chucked out 50 bucks. The only good people I've found that work there are Richard and Kevin. They are consistent in their work and every time I leave there I am ecstatic. So, it's worth it to go here if you get either of those two gentleman. But if you get anyone else be prepared to be disappointed. Not only is there always an extremely long wait, one time I went in because I chipped a nail and needed it fixed and I kid you not I waited over an hour, But it seems that mostly everyone there doesn't care about their work or the quality of it. They act as if they're rushing through it just to get you out of there and they can get your money. I don't know what happened but when I started going there it was an amazing place that was well worth it. But now? Definetly not. So make an appointment to avoid their awful wait and request Kevin or Richard. No one else is worth your time or hard earned money. Read Less

Not really the best I've been to but so far the most acceptable in Beaufort. There is always a long wait, there is never a welcoming attitude and if you are not asking for a specific tech than it is a VERY hit or miss on if it will be done well. I go here regularly and literally every time I go it's different. Vince is not friendly, if you get Kim for a pedicure she is AWFUL and SO NOT WORTH the $35-45 pedicure and even if you get a good one (like Hop) it's horribly inconsistent and when something isn't done right you get a discount instead of doing it right. I would rather pay the $10 than to have to walk around for two weeks with crappy ass nails. My last "dip" fill lasted almost 4 weeks ( I only came in because my nails were too long to type and it was annoying) and when I left I knew it wouldn't last. I am 3 days shy of two weeks and have two broken and they are my real nail underneath! I can't wait to move back home and pay a NORMAL price for a GREAT job. $45 for a 20 min pedicure by Kim is ridiculous (and she hurts and says "sorry" then continues to hurt you) and $45 for a fill that breaks before two weeks is ridiculous too! This was my second time at City Nails. Loved loved my first visit. I always get the nail "dip".  The technician was excellent and seemed very conscientious. My nails were great. Second trip, the tech I had before was not there even though I had booked an appointment with her.  Someone else was available and I did not have to wait. I wanted a solid color this time instead of French.  I have an event to go to and wanted my nails to match my outfits. The color that ended up on my nails was sooooo much darker than what I chose. When I pointed this out, the tech said when he finished it would look better so I went along. WOW! The color will work with my outfits, but not at all close to the color I chose. The tech took a picture, and showed it to others there. They blamed it on the company and maybe it was their fault. I think the tech should have been more knowledgeable, but oh well. Like I said the color will work and the actual painting job was fine. I also had a pedicure and the tech did a fabulous job. I will return, but now I know better. Read Less

Amazing save for a visitor to Low Country!! While on vacation for a mini weekend, we were pleasantly surprised with gorgeous weather in January. Unfortunately my toenails are not ready for winter, so I nipped into City Nails on my way to sightsee in Beaufort and really hit the jackpot! Salon is clean, bright and orderly. I was a walk in on Saturday morning and made my way quickly go a chair. The gentleman who did my nails was amazing -very polite and detailed. I went with a basic manicure and loved all the perks -hot stone, peppermint scrub and lavender lotion. Wow! They use OPI and China Glaze and a few other high end brands so I knew it would be good quality.  I was in and out in under half an hour and very pleased with the outcome!  I totally recommend this nail salon for anyone visiting or local. Although the work they do is great! I have never been here without waiting 45mins to an hour. And sometimes that's even with an appointment. They do walkins so if someone walks in 10 mins before you appointment time they start on them, making you late. It's really annoying. They do great work but service is slow and unpredictable. I recently went into the salon as a first time customer to get a pedicure. I was very pleased with the atmosphere, and how clean everything looked and smelled. I was greeted by one of the owners Vincent.. He gave me suggestions and went over how many different pedicures they offered, which was 8.. wow!! They offer a variety of services with great prices and have tons of polish colors to choose from, including mood change polish! I decided to get the new deluxe pedicure. My fr...iend and I had to wait a few minutes for a nail tech to become available, so they sat us in the pedi chairs and let us relax. I had Jenny as my tech, who was very sweet and did such an amazing job! I constantly stand on my feet all day, so the deluxe pedicure was the perfect choice for me. It included a salt soak, mask with a warm towel wrap, salt scrub and lotion. My feet were incredibly soft and smooth afterwards. One of the best nail salons I have been to in a long time. Very long wait, not enough employees in my opinion. Should have more people working on the weekends... common sense. After I finally got seated for my pedicure, the water they filled it up with was COLD. This was a huge disappointment. The lady next to me, she said her water was cold also. We waited for a long time. I asked one of the employees if he could fill it with hot water please and he said "wait until they come" -- 15 minutes later the lady comes and with an attitude she said "who wanna go first" ... not even who was HERE first. First time here this evening, treating myself to a birthday mani/pedi. Great environment, clean, professional, and super friendly group of people! Vin didn't nails and lived his friendly nature as well as the marvelous job he did fixing my hideous nails done at another salon. They looked beautiful when he was done. Was a first time costumer yesterday with my husband, after making an appointment the day before. They were perfectly on time. The service was excellent and talking to Vince has been like reading a special edition on Fortune magazine, and lots of fun, too. I have been getting my nails done with Vincent and Hop for almost 10 years now. I couldn't be any more satisfied with their service and how well they know my nails. After some horrible nail experiences at other salons in the area I was so happy to find this salon. It is CLEAN and SANITARY which is by far a huge improvement from anywhere else I have been to around here. Pedicure baths are lined which is wonderful and all of their equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized so you don't ever have to worry. My pedicures have all turned out great and I have gotten one gel manicure thus far which has also been great. It has been two weeks and has not chipped at all. I have also gotten an eyebrow wax which turned out great as well. I definitely recommend this nail salon to everyone. Read Less

AMAZING!! This is a newer salon and has several workers so you're not waiting around. They have 7 or 8 Mani stations and 9 pedi chairs with massage remote. Great Staff and Friendly! We took my 4 year old for her first Pedi and they were great with her. She loved it. Definitely be back! Read Less

If I could give this salon 100 stars, I would. I'm visiting from out of town so I was going blind, but took the advice of someone at Publix to give this salon a shot, and I so glad I did. The cleanliness of the shop was fantastic and the service was top notch. I'd never seen liners in the foot spa, but I'll never patron a salon without them now . The tech explained that the brushes and scrubbers are used once, then discarded for sanitation reasons. The polishes were high end as well. My parents live here in Beaufort and I will make a point to visit City NAILS every time I'm in town. Read Less
