I was searching for a decent place I could get my nails done while I was in town. Based on searches and reviews my selection was slim. Star Nails doesn’t have the most reviews or pictures but they are pretty darn good! I went in during the morning so I didn’t have to wait. Tulip started the removal process of my old nails and then moved me to the pedicure section. Rudy did my toes and was very friendly and did a great job. Tulip finished my SNS manicure and I’m very impressed. I’ve been in the Atlanta area for about 10 years and have yet found a place with this quality. If you’re in Anderson and need a nail place I would recommend Star Nails. Oh and they give you an itemized receipt at checkout which I have never seen at a nail shop.
*UPDATE*
This nail shop has some of the cheapest products ever. The SNS I previously mentioned started cracking after about 3 days. I got gel over Easter weekend and the “gel” is peeling like cheap paint. It’s also rigid at the bottom of my nail. I also got my toes polished and that’s starting to chip and crack. HOW can regular polish crack????? It’s like they purchased the worst brands they could possibly find. I wasted a good $50. Won’t be going here again.

Stylist didn't bother to change linens between customers, reused nail file and buffing pad between customers which is known to be a BIG NO-NO for sanitation/infection (possibly cuticle tools as well)....
Stylist didn't bother to change linens between customers, reused nail file and buffing pad between customers which is known to be a BIG NO-NO for sanitation/infection (possibly cuticle tools as well). Even more of an issue after she attacked my cuticles AND DREW BLOOD. She dabbed with alcohol and barely muttered a "sorry" before getting right back to it. I didn't see an autoclave anywhere so no idea if they actually sanitize their tools. I hope to God they do. Yeah, my nails look good but is it really worth the risk of hepatitis????
My advice, watch them like a hawk and speak up if they cut corners!!!!

My go to. There may be long waits sometimes but they do really pretty nails. They don't do their acrylics thick and clunky and flared like a lot of salons do. They look as natural as possible and they actually fit your hands (some put acrylics on too wide and make all your fingers look fat and ugly at other salons). I will say that the women are better at doing nails than the guy there, but he's still alright.

This is an awesome place. I won't go anywhere else. The staff is super nice. And they upgraded on the chairs for Pedro's. Making customers very comfortable.

I went in and it was a pretty pleasant experience. Ive always went there to get my eyebrows done but this was the first time I came in to get my nails done. My nails are growing but do have tips on them so I was sure they would be able to do my nails. After I got my nails done I did have a little pain I guess because maybe my nails were a little to short to have gotten the length of nails that I had. I would have liked to know that before I got my nails done maybe like a little warning or maybe someone telling me I should get them a little shorter. Thats my only complaint other than that I loved it and it was a very good experience.

Ladies were nice and had an pleasant, relaxing time, but the older woman Lisa was a little bit impatient she was kind of in a rush and I got my two rings fingers with design but the lines were not neat and clean like they should be like one hand had thicker lines then the other hand . I expected a better job. She does really good eyebrows though

My first and last visit to this place. I should have asked for an itemized receipt, so that was my fault, but I still can't figure out why I paid 100.00? The pedicure was $35, she told me wax $25.00 and I never asked how much for gel polish (no manicure) I don't mind paying good money for good quality. The place I normally go is $85.00before / $105.00 after tip. I asked her numerous times to cut my nails down and shape them square.

Have been searching all over anderson for a decent nail salon (I've tried just about all of them!) ... I saw the good reviews for Star Nails and decided to give it a shot. It was obvious that they're popular, as I had to wait an hour to be seen. But, they were all very friendly and called me by name throughout the appointment. I never felt rushed (no tacky timers!!) and I'm very pleased with my new nails. Will be back!

Today was my first time. Tulip was the sweet lady that did my nails. I had an amazing experience. I got chrome nails, and I absolutely love them! She pays attention to detail and made sure numerous times that my nails looked perfect. Everyone was so nice to my friend and I. I can't wait to go back and see what else they can do.

So I recently moved here and I came into this salon to get some relaxation time and wind down from a very stressful week. I got here and they were a little busy so I didn't mind waiting... but now I've been waiting for an hour and a half. There were 4 people who came in as a group about and hour after I got here and they have been seen before me. I'm sorry but this is ridiculous! I usually tip very well. And am very nice and always return to local salons. I got a envelope and money to come get my nails done here and I'm regretting even coming. I called ahead and asked when I could be seen and they said right away. Yup an hour and a half of waiting... and still waiting.... this is crap

I used to live in Anderson and have just moved away. I went in on Black Friday to get my nails filled while visiting. I expected to wait. I'm not an unreasonable person. There were 3 nail techs. I signed in and waited. There was one person who came in after me. They were finally done with one of the people they were working on and it was clearly my turn as the only other person waiting was the woman that came in after me (It had been an hour and 10 mins) They called her and told me to "sit number 4". So I went and sat down and watched as the nail tech start on the lady after me. I was enraged. Then I thought well maybe one of the other nail techs will finish soon so I'll just wait. I looked at the nail tech next to me and she was watching tv while doing the customer's nails and was taking forever. All in all I had been waiting an hour and a half up to this point and decided I wasn't waiting any longer. Not a way to treat paying customers. I'll never go back.

I was searching for a decent place I could get my nails done while I was in town. Based on searches and reviews my selection was slim. My go to. There may be long waits sometimes but they do really pretty nails. They don't do their acrylics thick and clunky and flared like a lot of salons do. They look as natural as possible and they actually fit your hands (some put acrylics on too wide and make all your fingers look fat and ugly at other salons). I will say that the women are better at doing nails than the guy there, but he's still alright.

I went in and it was a pretty pleasant experience. Ive always went there to get my eyebrows done but this was the first time I came in to get my nails done. My nails are growing but do have tips on them so I was sure they would be able to do my nails. Have been searching all over anderson for a decent nail salon (I've tried just about all of them!) ... I saw the good reviews for Star Nails and decided to give it a shot. It was obvious that they're popular, as I had to wait an hour to be seen. But, they were all very friendly and called me by name throughout the appointment. I never felt rushed (no tacky timers!!) and I'm very pleased with my new nails. Will be back!

Today was my first time. Tulip was the sweet lady that did my nails. I had an amazing experience. I got chrome nails, and I absolutely love them! So I recently moved here and I came into this salon to get some relaxation time and wind down from a very stressful week. I got here and they were a little busy so I didn't mind waiting... but now I've been waiting for an hour and a half.
