Summary: Never go to 99 Nails in Woonsocket!! . . On Saturday morning I got my nails done for 27$ no big deal. Come tuesday my bank account was overdrafted, leaving me with -3 dollars. Concerned, I call my bank account to find out what happened. Turns out this place had altered the ammount (days after me going there) and charged me 59$. First I call the nail place & explain the situation just to see what they will say, she goes "I no understand.. was it ahh foodstamp card?" Like what?? Food stamps?? I then just say screw it & go to this salon in person. She then spends a half hour on the phone with her "banker" speaking only Korean. Her conclusion after all this was that "Ohh we're not sure what happen, must ahh been a employee mistake." Like uhhh????? DUH!! Needless to say this place is trash, is fraudulently charging cards days after a service, is illegally abusing government funded food programs and has employees coming out of the backroom sniffling. I gave this salon a try because my usual salon was very busy that day. The salon was empty so I did not have to wait which was a plus. The woman who did my nails was kinda rough when doing my acrylic full set. She seemed very annoyed that a customer came in when they did not close for another 2 hours, as well as the place being dead. I did not like how they charged an additional 10.00$ for the polish I wanted. I know each salon is owned independently but the few salons I have visited do not charge extra depending on the polish. Gel nail polish is so common that usually it isnt an extra charge. Overall ended up costing me about 45$ with tip for regular acrylic nails. Salons usually charge about 45$ for gel nails so why the price was so much, I do not understand. Paying 10$ additionally I expected my polish to be phenomenal, it faded in about a day and a half. It does smell like a pet store in the salon, take into consideration the pet store is located next door, it would help if they tried to light a candle or two. I went in for a full acrylic set on Wednesday night on 3/16. My nails have completely POPPED off and it is only 4 days later. That's never ever happened to me ever. What a complete waste of money and the place smells like pet waste. Read Less

This place really needs a make over. The building is very unattractive. Secondly, the lady who did my nails was nice, but nail looks like crap. Terrible paint job as well. I hate the fact that she was blowing on my nail. There's not much nail polishes to chose from. Would I go again? No. Read Less

Its smells like a petting zoo. I went for a mani pedi with my sister and my pedicure was just a soak in and a stone rub. The lady did nothing to my feet and as my sister got her pedicure the man who did her feet was making fun of her toes, not even in a joking way either. As for the manicures, they didnt even remove the previous Nail Polish I had still left on my nails, and my sisters full set was just a hot mess. I called to leave a complaint and got hung up on multiple times. They didnt even bother to apologize or talk about the situation. I will copy and paste this on any website I can. Horrible service. Haven't been disappointed yet :-) I can't say anything about the other workers in this salon but I can talk about one nail tech. I believe he may be one of the newer workers & he may be the youngest in there. His name is George. He is fabulous. I've never had a problem with his work. I usually let him have free reign to do what ever he thinks is best for my nails & I've never been disappointed. Driving down to woonsocket is a little inconvient for me to do every two weeks for my fills so sometimes I'll go 3 weeks sometimes a month before going back & yet my nails are still in tact. I'm usually VERY VERY picky with who does my nails but I always leave happy. I once had him do my pedicure & I was very satisfied, it was very relaxing & my toes felt & looked good at the end. I have yet to try any of the other workers but hopefully I won't have to. I hope this was helpful!!!! Read Less

i got my nails done last week and when i was there the dumb old lady did my nails and it came out like crap and on top of that those ignorant vietnamese ppl was talking about their clients not knowing that i speak and understand vietnamese lol i wouldnt recommand this place to anyone even if ur desperate dont waste ur money and time !!! my nails broke the next day i got my nails done and my pedicure is aweful she didnt clip my toe nails or even file it!!! I normally don't use this place but they were open on sundays so I decided to try it out. First thing I walk in I have only one person before me, but as other people walked in they let them cut me in line. I waited about 45 minutes when I was told 15 minutes. As the man was doing my fill he took one nail off to "repair" it when it didn't and charged me for it. And as I left, the actual nail he fixed cracked in half and fell off.
