The man working should be a butcher instead of a nail tech. Should be ashamed of himself cornering a 110lb woman and threathing to call the police because he butchered my fingers to bloodly cuticles and I didn't want to pay. Last time I went to get my nails done I went to Ocean Nails and they seriously hacked them I was rushed and embarrassed and furious...but Fancy Nails was fantastic! They can be very good but even if you make an appointment they take other before you, my gel chipped off the second day like it didn't dry right...I broke a nail using gel acrylic which was supposed to be stronger I'm just upset with having these done for a week and their destroyed in days .. Never again. I went on a snowy day. I was the ONLY customer, this man who did my nails was in such a rush; as if it was packed ? He kept hurting me by being so rough , and I told him a good 3-4 times that he was hurting me and to please be more gentle. I eventually had to yell at him, Ill never go back here .. They just want to get your nails done and get paid and for you to leave . He didnt get a tip - He is lucky I even paid. Read Less

Worst experience in a nail salon.  I couldn't get in with my usual nail artist and I didn't want my nails to start breaking so I stopped at Fancy Nails on the way home from work.  Decor is dated, there is a HUGE tv on the back wall blaring a game show of sorts in what I assume was Vietnamese.  I said I wanted a fill and was told to pick a color.  That's when I should have walked right back out.  The nail colors they have are awful.  Usually I bounce from idea to idea but it was a struggle to find a color I liked.  I tried not to be too picky and grabbed a basic red.  I asked him for a fill and to take my nails down a little bit.  He dremeled them down too far and completely changed the shape (they were almond shape, now they're pretty much just rounded).  Moreover, when I looked at them closely, each nail was noticeably different.  I gave him the benefit of a doubt and waited until he was done to see if he fixed it, he didn't.  I held my hands up to him saying "this isn't the shape I came in here with, none of them are the same..."  and he attempted to fix it, but as he had drilled them down too far, there wasn't much to work with unless he took the whole set off and started again.I was angry but didn't say anything.  I couldn't even look at my nails.  When the color was dry, I walked to the front and asked how much it was, he had already started on a pedicure.  No one was paying attention, I could have walked out without paying and I honestly wanted to.  He finally told me it was $16, I handed him a $20 bill and left.  I'm now waiting for my top coat to dry from the manicure I gave myself in my living room.Ugh. Went here just to get a fill with my sister inlaw, they started working on her right away and told me that it was gonna be 5 minutes til they start on me. I waited for more than a half hour. Then instead of working on my nails they started on 3 people before me as soon as they walked in as I was still waiting. While there was still workers doing nothing. Horrible service wouldn't recommend to anybody. If I could give them less than one star I would. Read Less

I went to Fancy Nails today because a friend was raving  about the hot stone pedicure she was getting in a Facebook post.  I was planning on getting a pedi today, so I went there,  I was greeted when I walked in and was told to take a seat in a pedicure chair. When I put my feet into the water, the water was so hot, I had to take them right out.  I love really hot water to soak my feet in, but this was far too hot.  Obviously, whomever drew the water had not taken time to test it.  When the young man came over, I told him it was too hot and he added cold water.  Then it was too cool.  I just let it go.  My old polish was removed, my toenails were trimmed.  While trimming the cuticle and skin around my toenails, I kept feeling like he was cutting me.  My feet were minimally scrubbed with a pumice.  Then I got s quick scrub on my calves and then my feet and legs were rinsed and lotion was applied.  The leg and foot massage I received was good, but only lasted a couple of minutes.  My nails were painted and I was told to go and sit at the dryer.  It was when I was about to leave that I noticed that the dry, flaky skin on my heels had not been removed.  I was with two friends and they both told me to go and tell him to fix that.  When I did speak to him, he looked at what I was complaining about and then spoke to someone in his native language.  She then wanted me to show her what I was complaining about.  When I showed her, she asked me what I wanted them to do.  I replied that I wanted them to fix it.  She said she had lotion that I could use on my feet.  Really???  No, I wanted that skin scrubbed off.  Her response.... The next time you come in, bring a Ped Egg and we can do that.  No thanks, I won't be back!!I should have gone where I normally go, but my friend and I wanted to have pedicures at the same time and they could do that there.  My normal place usually only does one pedi at a time.  Lesson learned.,,,,, DO NOT go to Fancy Nails in Warwick, RI!!!
