This is an amazing nail salon! I am usually very picky about getting my nails done, but this place exceeded my expectations so much so that I make a special trip 30 minutes away from my house to come here. They have an incredible selection of OPI (gelcolor and regular polish) and Essie. All manicures include a mini back massage and paraffin wax treatment, and the $30 classic pedi also includes a 5 minute foot massage and mini back massage. For a gel mani it’s only $30 and it includes removing any old gel you have on. Not only was the service quick and extremely high quality, but my gel mani also lasted 3 weeks and still looked perfect (no chips)! The salon is new and modern and the staff is friendly and efficient. I will definitely be a regular customer here and if you’re in the area (or even if you’re not in the area it’s worth the drive haha!) it’s definitely worth checking out. Efficient and professional! The gel manicures come with paraffin hand wax and a mini massage! Love this place! Update, went back after I made this review and came in over an hour before closing. My nail tech rushed through the whole basic manicure, then told me I could not put the $5 tip on the credit card. Finally did after I told him I will come back in the am, I live close by. Then rushed me out of the nail drying station while another guest was still getting her nails painted and when he used the drying oil on them, he smudged a nail and said it wasn't a big deal and left. What a terrible ending. Really disappointed! I think I'm going to move on unfortunately. It just felt like everything was about $ today all around me while I was getting my manicure. Not enjoyable. As a walk in I was seated right away after I picked a nail color. Salon was very clean. All The employees were very friendly. The price for my nail service was very reasonable if not on the low end. My nails looked exactly as I had hoped when she was done. And all clients get a neck and shoulder massage as part of the service. Very pleased and will be returning next week. Read Less

Gave this place 3 shots and got worse with every time! Employees are miserable and obviously don't want to be there. No attention to detail. No consistency. I had spontaneously stopped by here on my way home from work for a gel manicure and I must say that I was very impressed! The salon is very neat and clean, the staff was polite and very good at what they do! To make things even better, if you go there and get 10 gel manicures then your 11th is free! Do not go here for acrylics I literally am writing this in the parking lot so disappointed with my nails she's shaped them completely the wrong way had to redo them and now the paint I have on them looks streaky and uneven and the nails themselves look bumpy I will not be back not to mention it was so overpriced she got me $40 for a filling with gel polish I normally pay 25 every other place Read Less

I enjoy going to get my nails done, I go every 2 weeks. I just moved here and this is the second salon that I've been to, I'm looking for the best one! I came to Honey nails & spa, I got a fill and a gel polish. $40.00 +tip $8.00=$48.00, which was a little pricey I thought. I got home, a few of my nails were uneven and later on that night I noticed that my "gel" nail polish chipped on not 1...but 3 of my nails. I called the salon the next day and made an appointment to come back. When I went in I told the lady that I want this polish off my nails. I was afraid that if it was chipping this soon maybe it was the color that was defected. She took the gel polish off and I picked a different color. She finished and I asked her "how much", she said "only" 10$ so I gave her 10$ without hesitation. It has now been 2 days since I went in to get my nails fixed. On 5 nails...my gel polish is chipping. 1 nail broke. ive been getting my nails done for over 5 years! This place did not satisfy me, I won't be going back nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. I am so unhappy with my nails and the fact that I went in to get my nails fixed and they charged me again. That is not good customer service... Back at home "HERSHEY" they charge me $25 for a fill with "gel" polish and they always hold up for at least 1 1/2 weeks.!! Enough said. Read Less

I recently got a fill with gel nail polish. The woman who did them was very distracted the whole time and got in and out of her seat at least 6 times. She was more concerned about what everyone else was doing. $40 later it came out horrible and while everyone around me was getting back massages after their manicure I was quickly ushered out the door. Had a simple gel mani done - made an appointment night before, arrived early and was taken right away!  I'm not one to get my nails done often so the mani looks fine to me, but the woman next to me needed a few things fixed/another layer added and they were more than happy to make things perfect. I came here as a walk in on a late Sunday afternoon and was quite impressed. It wasn't busy so I was able to sit right down and pick my color. I got a gel manicure and it came out really well. They also advertise they'll fix any chipped nails 2 weeks after your service which I appreciate since nail services are not always cheap. They gave a great massage while your nails are drying and it was very relaxing. You also can dip your hands into wax which helps is great for dry skin. Worst Manicure Ever!My nails chipped within two hours of leaving the facility. I returned and the guy couldn't find the polish I used, then finally found it and touched up the nail. Would you believe the next morning that nail and three others were chipped. I had to take off the polish two days after the manicure and might as well have taken the money for the manicure and tip and burned it. He didn't even buff surface of my nails which was all yellow from the prior polish. NEVER AGAIN! Avoid unless you like wasting money. Read Less

I sadly give them 3 stars. They were really great the entire time I was there. They were attentive and had a great color selection. They even give out water and massages while getting your previous gel taken off. They do a wax treatment at the end and it was truly an awesome place. The reason for my 3 stars, is due to the fact that I got my nails done on Tuesday afternoon last week and by Friday my nails had the cracked look and eventually chipped by Sunday. The gel did not seem as durable and even slightly thinner than normal. I'm not sure if they use a poor top coat or what the problem is, but when you pay $30 plus tip, your gel should be looking a lot better for more than a 4-6 days. The BEST nail service I had ever gotten, just the best. I have found my new spot. Thank you Yelp ! The place I normally go I have not been too thrilled with , the last few times I went it was not a good experience. So I turned to Yelp to find a new place. Honey nails had the best reviews so I made the appointment. My girl friend and I went together to have a girls day. The place itself is very clean and neat. Everything is sanitized. The pedicure chairs are comfortable and in nice shape. The nail dryers go on automatically when you put yourNails under them. So besides the cleanliness of thePlace , the service is the star. We had a nice pedicure and leg massage. There was also a bit of a hot stone rundown ! They did a great job cleaning up my abused retail feet ! They came out beautiful. We also got manicures. WeDipped our hands in a wax for ultimate softening. We were treated to a free shoulder massage while our nails were getting done. Service here is reallyAwesome and they did a fantastic Job. I don't give five stars willy nilly, but they came pretty darn close, that's how much this nail salon made an impression on me. I came in on a Saturday afternoon as a walk in, no problem. I called ahead to see if they take walk ins and the gentlemen that answered the phone was super nice, professional, and courteous. The inside was clean and modern, with relaxing music playing. Upon walking in I was greeted by a young lady sitting at the front reception desk, and they asked if I was the person who called ahead (they remembered me). They asked me up front exactly what I wanted (pedicure and gel nails). I was seated to have my pedicure and treated like a princess (lol, seriously), three of the employees walked over to me and one sat down and began to roll my pant legs up another came over with several assortments of nail swatches, and another put my coffee in the cup holder, placed my purse on the floor, placed my shoes neatly on the side of the pedicure chair I was sitting in, and turned on the massage chair for me. The pedicure was nice and relaxing, they give you a five minute foot massage and the usual foot buff, toe nail clipping if needed or wanted, and foot soak in water while alternating feet. From there I moved over to the nail booth for my gel manicure, the nail technicians moved all of my things over to the booth, my purse, shoes, coffee, and phone, all I did was walk myself over, lol. While having my nails started another nail tech gave me a 5 minute back and shoulder massage (it felt amazing and relaxing), then after my gel manicure they have this warm wax (smells so good) that you dip your hands in and then they have you sit back down to let the warm wax dry and as it's drying they give you another back massage for about 5 minutes and they then peel off the wax (literally like a glove coming off!). So cool because I've never tried that before, which the nail tech informed me is great for dry skin (due to the cold weather, with winter nearing), leaves your hands feeling smooth and smelling great. They have a huge selection for colors as well! Also I noticed one of the nail techs cleaning all of the outside of the nail polish bottles and shaking them as she went along, which I appreciated and noticed. I've already recommend this place to several of my friends and will absolutely be coming back! This was my first time here and they definitely made a memorable impression on me! As a mother of two it's nice to be able to go somewhere and be treated like a princess, like you matter! Further more, the restroom was very clean and brand new! First time at this salon.Came in for a pedicure and a gel manicure. It started out great but during my manicure several clients came in and my manicurist started to rush my service. She quickly finished and rushed me out the door. I had polish all around the skin of my nails!! Would not recommend this place,and I won't be coming back! They don't do acrylic nails but they have really nice spa pedicures. I would make sure to call in advance and schedule an appointment. I just got an amazing manicure and pedicure from this salon. Honestly, I've never been to a salon in Rhode Island that has made me want to come back again. I had pretty much given up on getting my nails done in RI (I live in Boston for most of the year), but then I found this place! It's so clean and the people are so nice, I was greeted by pretty much every manicurist and they gave me plenty of time to pick out a color. They also have a great selection, pretty much every Essie color was on the shelf.The pedicure was GREAT, very relaxing, she really took her time. I also got an impromptu shoulder massage during my manicure, and the paraffin hand treatment!! I get $5 off my next appointment, and your tenth time is free!
