This place is dangerous STAY AWAY. I went with my cousins on the recommendation of someone because of the price. We sit down for hand paintings and pedis and are offered beers. A bit odd, I doubt they have a license especially since my cousin was underaged (she didn't have any) but I wasn't going to say anything about it because it wasn't really my business. This alone should have served as a warning for how fast and loose they are with any type of protocol. The water for the pedicure was scalding. The lady nearly burnt her hand. I never saw them wash down the station. I never saw them open a new package for nail cutting tools or scrubbers. Remember this as it comes into play later. 1 of 3 stylist was kind, thorough and conversational. The other two were a mess they couldn't understand much English. This alone isn't a problem for me, I'm very understanding of immigrant workers, however my cousins stylist painted her toes purple instead of pastel and would not change it. After my stylist finished my very rough pedicure she grabbed my things and started to shoo me over to the nail station. She slipped in the other stylists mess of water in the ground and got her pants on my toes which needless to say ruined both. I brought it to her attention and she reflexively (maybe playfully?) whacked my thigh. It was a bit funny, but not very professional to whack your clients. This was probably the better part of the experience. Yep, the best part was getting mildly assaulted from my stylist. We sit down for paintings and my girl starts doing a manicure (it's ten dollars more) I didn't notice until she was half way through so I said, whatever, no used in having half a mani... WORSE MANI OF MY LIFE! She cut way too low on the cuticle my hands ripped and chipped at the cuticle and I will post pics. Not 4 days in and already the gel, not my nail, just the gel chipped off my nail. My cousin had long beautiful natural nails that they hacked too low and uneven. A tragedy truly, but the poor girl wasn't done suffering. As she was sliding her nails into the UV machine, and I swear on everything I love a ROACH weaves in and out of the machine. Its at this point that I take a good look around and realize this place is filthy, there are no vents and there is NO WAY it's up to code. The stylist is watching this ROACH all the while and ignores it as if it is just so typical until she sees the horrified look on my face. She kills it with her bare hand and and my poor cousin has reached the end of her rope and just refuses to at this point to talk with anyone. We pay, there is a $3 fee each for using a card so all in all there was no discounted price, and leave her with her miss matched hacked nails and me wondering HOW fast I should make and appointment with a dermatologist. This place is a horror show. For the price and transaction fee you should go to MetroNails on Wickiden. Its clean, nice and roach free. Read Less
