They did a good job but they will charge you extra for everything. Even to cut my nail( to make it shorter) they charged me $2 extra dollars, $3 to replace my daughter's pink finger acrylic nail and $1 dollar credit card fee. This place would be better if they had more nail techs. Even if you make an appointment you will still wait 20-45 min to get taken and they end up rushing to get to the next person that your nails get filed sideways. Also, just a heads up if you use a card they charge $1 fee. I stopped going here after four times in a row of making appointments and having to wait 30 mins each time.Read Less

I can't stand this place.  The girl that did my nails kept hitting my hand to tell me to relax it. I have a problem with my wrist so after a short time of not moving them my hands start to shake.  I told her this before we started and she said ok.  But apparently is wasnt ok. I have been to several nail salons across Rhode Island, but I always find myself coming back to Suzy's Nail Salon. The salon is impeccably clean, and the workers are constantly washing the pedicure bowls in between customers, and they use freshly sterilized tools on every customer. The decor isn't gaudy like most salons, so the atmosphere is very relaxing.All of the girls that work their are very friendly and do a consistently good job every time I have been to the salon. The prices are also very reasonable. I recommend making an appointment. Su is ALWAYS busy, but she does her best to fit you in within 30 minutes to an hour. Overall, I definitely recommend this nail salon if you are in Pawtucket or the surrounding area. Read Less

This salon is bad news- go elsewhere...*They drilled my nail too deep and I had a hurt nail for months,*the owner did my nails and complained I was paying with a CC. She went into great deal while doing my nails the cost of the credit machine for herself.*When I picked out my color, Suzzie (owner) decided to only paint only 4 nails on each hand/ after she did it and I said "what's this?" I have gone here once before. It's a small building, and that's why I never noticed the nail salon in the past, even though I passed by it a few times on my way to work. I went in the summertime looking to get a whole manicure and pedicure done. I didn't make an appointment or anything: it was a walk-in.They did an excellent job! I asked for a specific design on my nails, and when the lady attempted the design the first time, I didn't like it... So she tried again till I liked what I had. And the nail polish lasted awhile afterwards.I've been to a few salons that were a lot better than this, but I wouldn't mind recommending this place to a friend. I will definitely be back again. Tried this salon out b/c it's down the street from where I work, and I was in desperate need of a manicure so that I could have pretty paws for a presentation happening the next day.  The manicurist was very pleasant and sweet, but my french manicure didn't hold up for more than 36 hours (and I get regular manicures).  One of the worst manicures I've received in awhile.Salon also reeks of acetone/polish and irritated my eyes.    I appreciated the fact that the salon was able to accommodate me, but will be finding somewhere else to go in the future. Today was my last and final attempt the first time I tried to go here for a pedicure they said do you have an apt I said no how long is the wait I was ignored I wired about 5 minutes and asked again about how long she said come back I again asked well how long is the wait she said come back needless to say I did not now today again I figured I would try again I got there before they opened and waited for them to open the lady said well I don't have time to do two people so she took another women who was also waiting they have Awful customer service skills considering they are a walk in salon I will not try to come here again I would rather wait elsewhere or make an apt with a full service salon Read Less

Went in for a full pink and white set but ended up getting polish. They don't do the powdered white only white nail polish. Now every tech can do pink and white perfectly so I went basic to keep from being unhappy with my nails; again! Alyssa is the nail tech that helped me today and she was very nice!! Very gentle and didn't rush at all. Did I mention the prices are great too! : If you use a credit card you have to pay an extra $1 for the transaction. I found that weird. Read Less

I made an appointment because I had a hectic day and didn't want to have to wait. I was excited when they called to say they could take me half an hour earlier, but the excitement didn't last. I got a pedicure, but the woman doing my pedicure was also giving a pedicure to another woman and kept switching back and forth between us after each step. That would be bad enough on its own, since it made my pedicure take twice as long as it should have. But the worst part was that she didn't change her gloves once. I am such a picky nail person but this place is awesome! $25 for shellac (the real kind) and $25 for Pedicure.  I had Lucy do my nails and she was great. Very meticulous and even put an extra top coat on for me. Then Alyssa did my pedicure and made my nails look great!   She cut the sides of my nails without me asking and got all the dead skin off my feat. Overall I have a wonderful experience at Lucy's salon and will be coming back. I live on the East Side and been to 3 nail salons over there and have never been as pleased until I came to Lucy's.  I would recommend an appointment. Read Less

I've been here a few different times and have always loved the service.  The girls are always sweet..my nails always look flawless after getting them done here problem is even if you have an appointment your waiting at least a half hour to be seen. Normally ok I'll wait but the waiting area is very small and it's crowded..I feel like I'm getting sat on most of the time. If they could keep to appointments I would go back I mean I will go back when I have free time..Also the parking is horrible. The parking lot is tiny but that being said seriously if you don't mind waiting or parking on the street then go here I seriously love the staff and my nails always look amazing but I can't always wait.
